Hola amigos de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia durante el Taller Intensivo de teatro en el mes de agosto. Un mes con nuevos compañeros, otro ritmo de actividades y dinámicas, el cual debo admitir fue sumamente divertido, pues hubo una exploración actoral más acelerada, con muchos ejercicios de improvisación, imitación, interpretación de personajes y demás actividades. En este intensivo se condensó lo que se vería en un tiempo más prolongado de clases y eso me resultó llamativo.

Hello friends of Hive, today I want to share with you my experience during the Intensive Theater Workshop in August. A month with new colleagues, another rhythm of activities and dynamics, which I must admit was extremely fun, because there was a more accelerated acting exploration, with many exercises in improvisation, imitation, character interpretation and other activities. This intensive condensed what would be seen in a longer period of classes, and that was very appealing to me.

Al ver a mis nuevos compañeros me recordó a mis primeras clases de teatro, todos un poco choqueados, pues son clases que exigen nos desinhibamos , que perdamos el miedo a hacer el ridículo, lo cual es todo un proceso, y fue interesante y en parte gracioso ver como mis compañeros se enfrentaban a esto. Pudiendo llegar a pensar que después de la primera clase no volverían, pero no fue así, cada uno se compenetró partiendo desde propia personalidad, habilidades, debilidades, muy únicas de cada uno.

Seeing my new classmates reminded me of my first theater classes, all a little shocked, because they are classes that require us to be uninhibited, to lose the fear of making a fool of ourselves, which is a whole process, and it was interesting and partly funny to see how my classmates faced this. I could have thought that after the first class they would not come back, but it was not like that, each one of them got to know each other starting from their own personality, abilities, weaknesses, very unique of each one of them.

Se programó para cerrar el intensivo una breve obra, grabada en video, de manera que quedara como registro de su participación para cada uno de los compañeros que asistieron al intensivo. A mí me fue asignada una obra breve llamada Facturación del libro Bailes de Salón de Gracia Morales, la cual interpreté junto a mi compañera María Barrera.

The intensive was programmed to close with a short work, recorded on video, so that it would be a record of their participation for each of the colleagues who attended the intensive. I was assigned a short piece called Facturación from the book Bailes de Salón by Gracia Morales, which I performed with my partner María Barrera.

En Facturación soy un viajero en un aeropuerto quien pronto se obstina, porque la empleada al hacer cumplir las reglas de la empresa le pide unas 3 veces que quite peso de su maleta, pues esta no puede pesar más de 30 kg, el viajero intenta equilibrar el peso de sus maletas, pero cada vez que las coloca se excede y finalmente la obstinación hace que arremeta contra la empleada , buscando la forma de humillarla y hacerla sentir mal.

In Check-in I am a traveler in an airport who soon becomes obstinate, because the employee to enforce the rules of the company asks him 3 times to remove weight from his suitcase, because it can not weigh more than 30 kg, the traveler tries to balance the weight of his bags, but each time he puts them exceeds and finally the obstinacy makes him lash out against the employee, looking for ways to humiliate her and make her feel bad.

Me gustó darle vida a este personaje, no soy una persona que se obstine fácil y mucho menos que arremeta contra otras personas con cierta malicia, pero esa es precisamente la magia del teatro poder ser alguien completamente distinto, el ejercicio se llevó a cabo 3 veces y a continuación comparto el que me parece que quedó mejor.

I enjoyed giving life to this character, I am not a person who is easily stubborn and much less that lashes out against other people with some malice, but that is precisely the magic of theater to be someone completely different, the exercise was carried out 3 times and then I share the one that I think was better.

Espero disfruten esta breve obra grabada en video, yo me divertí mucho, y es muy bueno para mi poder ver mi progreso en cuanto a la actuación, pues ha sido un han sido meses de aprendizaje.
