Ce que j'en ai pensé, après l'avoir vu sur Netflix avant qu'il ne soit déprogrammé...
Synopsis
Frappé d'une maladie génétique, le sang du Dr Morbius est à changer plusieurs fois par jour afin qu'il survive, cette maladie rare ne le touche pas que lui, un riche camarade sera d'ailleurs son principal mécène dans le but de trouver un remède...
Il trouve le remède qui a un effet inattendu ... Milo ne veut pas être laissé pour compte ...
Distribution
Là encore nous retrouvons une belle brochette d'acteurs connus ou qui montent en flèche. Le jeu est irréprochable.
Mon avis ...
Marvel ne s'est pas franchement creusé la tête sur ce coup là je trouve, mais il peut se regarder pour une soirée canapé...
Maladie du sang, chauve-souris vampire pouvant hypothétiquement amener un remède et hop un Vampire qui pop ... Les seules originalités sont qu'il ne vient pas des Carpates et qu'il ne craint pas les pieux, la lumière ou l'ail ...
Le nom même du personnage, avant sa transformation crie déjà son destin, ce qui fait que je ne considère pas avoir spoilé quoi que ce soit avec la phrase ci-dessus. D'ailleurs je ne dirai rien sur l'histoire en elle même, si ce n'est qu'encore une fois on passe dans le fratricide ...
Les effets spéciaux sont biens faits, le bullet-time (même s'il est maîtrisé depuis le premier Matrix) utilise un genre de trainée vaporeuse très adéquate pour le personnage nous fais comprendre sa très grande vélocité,et le vol est assez original et bien amené.
On ne sait pas beaucoup plus sur les pouvoirs de la créature cependant, même si elle se bat bien et qu'elle ne manque pas de force, mais n'est vraisemblablement pas immortelle...
Dommage donc pour le manque d'imagination sur le scénario, car il y avait de la matière... Maintenant, forcément, si on aime le film de super héros, si on apprécie Marvel ou si on veut juste voir un film avec pas mal d'action, alors oui il se laisse voir.
Se laisser porter sans trop réfléchir.

Selon les critiques, Morbius a fait un flop et une suite "Morbius 2" est assez improbable.
On pourrait toutefois voir le personnage rejoindre l'équipe de superhéros Marvel dans de futures productions.
