Hello anime lovers and the beautiful people of the community. Recently my life has become very busy. So, I don't get much time for watching animes. As a result, I can't a make review. But after reading this month's monthly quest of the anime realm community, I decided to review one of my favourite anime which fits this monthly quest very well.

So, Today I'm gonna review the "Most Expensive" japanese folktale anime movie. The movie nemed - The Tale Of Princess Kaguya or Kaguya Hime No Monogatari.

Review

So let's know about this movie
The movie is adapted from a Japanese foketale "The Tale Of The Bamboo Cutter" It's a very old foke tale, you guys probably must know, a bamboo cutter discovers a little girl in the forest and he takes her to his house. He and his wife care for her to grow and she becomes the pillar of fortune to the pair. And she leaves the moon in the end.

The story seems pretty simple, but it's actually not. This movie is directed by Isao Takahata, the same director of Grave Of The Fireflies & Kiki's Delivery Service

The concept behind this movie was slightly different from the original story Isao Takahata had read the foketale of Bamboo Cutter when he was a kid But he couldn't relate with the protagonist at all, so he decided to make his own movie where he could express the story from the perspective of Kaguya. He wanted to show the audience the actual feelings of Princess Kaguya.

Well Isao Takahata was working so long for the concept of this movie And in 2009, he announced his idea of adaptation of the movie. At last in 2013 he finished his project of the movie And this Studio Ghibli created movie was aired Worldwide.

Now let's know about the production & artstyle of this movie Unlike other Ghibli movies this art style was totally different. Takahata wanted a traditional foke art feel from the movie Hence the artwork is based on the traditional sumi-e watercoloured painting Looking through the movie it seems hand drawn, but it's actually digitally created one In every portion, the detailing is sharply done Even if it's natural or indoor artworks.

Takahata wants a realistic vibe from the movie Hence natural emotions and situation related scenes would leave you overwhelmed. Well after all Studio Ghibli's all movies are heart touching You'd see long coloured strokes and jagged lines and the combination of colour schemes along with the situation Indeed, efforts make this movie possible, we can tell by watching it I really appreciate Isao Takahata for his brilliant work.

Isao Takahata & Hayao Miyazaki were partners And overlooking his brilliant work, the late chairman of Nippon TV Seiichiro Ujje invested the amount of 40M USD towards the project And really this movie is beautifully created *The Tale Of Princess Kaguya* was the last movie directed by Isao Takahata. In April 2018, he passed away.

Let me tell you one more thing that this movie is more emotional than The Grave Of The Fireflies. Well I'm not comparing this movie into "Best" or "Better", but still I find it more emotional So don't forget to have some tissues with you So I'm not gonna compare both, cuz both movies have a place in my heart.

OFFICIAL TRAILER

At last I would just say that please watch this movie, it's brilliant The thing I love about this movie is it's entire concept Like as I told you earlier that this movie is based on the foketale of Bamboo cutter It's actually shown by the point of Kaguya which makes the movie unique Kaguya, how she was born, grew up, how was her childhood, how was her lifestyle, what was her turning point and most importantly what was her feelings. It was beautifully portrayed in this movie
