Today I'm here again to share with you my opinion about a Korean series which is one of my favorites and I recently had the opportunity to watch it a second time. This is "Hotel Del Luna" which consists of 16 episodes and stars Lee Ji-eun and Yeo Jin-goo in the main roles. I hope you like it.
¡Hola, mis queridos amigos! Espero estén muy bien. Hoy estoy nuevamente por aquí para compartir con ustedes mi opinión acerca de una serie coreana la cual es de mis favoritas y hace poco tuve la oportunidad de verla, una segunda vez. Se trata de "Hotel Del Luna" la cual consta de 16 episodios y está protagonizada por Lee Ji-eun y Yeo Jin-goo en los papeles principales. Espero les guste.
Plot / Trama
The Hotel del Luna is a luxury hotel located in Seoul, but it's a special hotel that receives the dead who will rest before leaving for the afterlife. Its owner is Jan Man-wol, who is a immortal girl condemned to run the hotel to atone for his sins committed 1,300 years ago. When the young Koo Chang-sung ends up working with her at the hotel as a manager, everything changes completely because thanks to him Man-wol begins to leave her grudges behind and while they work to help the souls who visit their hotel from the most There both will live a brief but beautiful romance.
El Hotel del Luna es un hotel de lujo ubicado en Seúl, pero es un hotel especial que alberga a los muertos los cuales van a descansar antes de partir al mas allá, su dueña es Jan Man-wol, la cual es una chica inmortal condenada a administrar el hotel para expiar sus pecados cometidos hace 1300 años atrás. Cuando el joven Koo Chang-sung termina trabajando con ella en el hotel como gerente, todo cambia totalmente ya que gracias a él Man-wol empieza a dejar sus rencores atrás y mientras trabajan para ayudar a las almas que visitan su hotel a partir al más allá ambos vivirán un breve pero hermoso romance.
Plot / Trama
I saw this series for the first time during the pandemic since it caught my attention and I remember that I liked it so much from the beginning that I watched it in a marathon and it took me two days to see it completely. It's the first Korean series that I saw and thanks to it I got hooked on them. I really liked the overall work of the actors who played their roles very well and it's easy for the audience to sympathize with them from the beginning so in my opinion, they all did an incredible job.
Esta serie la vi por primera vez durante la pandemia ya que me llamó mucho la atención y recuerdo que me gustó tanto desde el principio que la vi en maratón y tardé dos días verla completa, es la primera serie coreana que vi y gracias a ella me enganché con ellas. Me gustó mucho el trabajo en general de los actores los cuales desempeñaron muy bien sus papeles y es fácil para los espectadores simpatizar con ellos desde el principio así que en mi opinión, todos hicieron un trabajo increíble.
The photography is incredible and has a wide color palette that works perfectly and some great special effects. It also shows very beautiful settings throughout the entire series, which I love for the most part, especially the hotel, which I think is precious. The story is also quite interesting and emotional that mixes romance, fantasy and horror perfectly, because although throughout the series somewhat terrifying ghosts make appearances, the series is not scary at all and I love the way in which the series transports us to the past to learn what Man-wol's life was like when she was alive, her memories and what led her to do what made her stay attached to the hotel until she can leave her grudges behind and finally go to the beyond and for this, we see how he faces his ghosts from the past in the present by meeting the people who marked his life 1300 years ago but who have been reincarnated.
La fotografía es increíble y tiene una amplia paleta de colores que funciona a la perfección y unos efectos especiales buenísimos, también muestra escenarios muy hermosos a lo largo de toda la serie los cuales en su mayoría me encantan, en especial el hotel el cual me parece precioso. La historia también es bastante interesante y emotiva que mezcla el romance, la fantasía y el terror a la perfección, ya que aunque a lo largo de la serie hacen actos de presencia fantasmas un tanto aterradores la serie no da miedo en absoluto y me encanta la manera en la que la serie nos transporta al pasado para conocer como fue la vida de Man-wol cuando estaba viva, sus recuerdos y lo que la llevó a hacer lo que hizo que quedara unida al hotel hasta que pueda dejar atrás sus rencores y finalmente ir al mas allá y para esto, vemos como enfrenta en el presente sus fantasmas del pasado al reencontrarse a las personas que marcaron su vida hace 1300 años pero, que han reencarnado.
In general I like all the chapters but there is one in particular that almost makes me cry, in which a ghost bride appears who wanted to "marry" the love of her life who is alive before she leaves but, after the wedding He will also die so on the advice of one of the deities who gives her some scissors and tells her that "although it's difficult, it's easier to let go than to hold on" so at the time of the wedding she regrets it and ends up cutting the red string that connected her with her loved one so that he would not die. I really found it to be a very emotional and moving chapter. Something that I also loved was the protagonist's wardrobe throughout the series, of which one is more beautiful than the other, and also the soundtrack bacause it has really beautiful songs which work perfectly with the plot, and my favorites are "Another Day" and "Done For Me".
En general todos los capitulos me gustan pero hay uno en especial que casi me hace llorar, en el que aparece una novia fantasma que quería "casarse" con el amor de su vida el cual está vivo antes de ella partir pero, después de la boda él morirá también así que por consejo de una de las deidades la cual le entrega unas tijeras y le dice que "aunque es difícil, es más fácil dejar ir que aferrarse" así que al momento de la boda ella se arrepiente y termina cortando el hilo rojo que la conectaba con su amado para que este no muriera. Realmente me pareció un capitulo bastante emotivo y conmovedor. Algo que también amé fue el vestuario de la protagonista a lo largo de la serie, de los cuales uno es mas hermoso que otro, y también el soundtrack ya que tiene canciones realmente hermosas las cuales funcionan a la perfección con la trama, y mis favoritas son "Another Day" y "Done For Me".
To finish, I would say that this is a very beautiful series full of emotion which is worth watching, especially if you are fans of k-dramas, so far I have been able to enjoy it twice and I would like to recommend it to everyone. If you don't know it yet, I assure you that you are going to love it and I hope you enjoy it. It has truly been a pleasure to have shared it with you.
Para finalizar, diría que esta es una serie muy bonita y llena de emoción la cual vale la pena ver, en especial si son fans de las k-dramas, yo hasta el momento la he podido disfrutar 2 veces y me gustaría recomendarla a todos los que todavía no la conocen, les aseguro que la van a amar y espero que la disfruten. Realmente ha sido un placer haberla compartido con ustedes.
