Hello my dear cinephile friends! I hope you are very well, today I want to share with you another movie that was also one of my favorites when I was a child, it is the second Pokémon movie which came out in 1999 and, like the first movie, it is also one of the first that I saw it in the cinema, and I still like to enjoy it today. I hope you like it.
¡Hola mis queridos amigos cinéfilos! Espero estén muy bien, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes otra película que también era de mis favoritas cuando era niña, se trata de la segunda película de Pokémon la cual salió en 1999 y al igual que la primera pelicula, es también una de las primeras que ví en el cine, y todavía me gusta disfrutarla en la actualidad. Espero les guste.
𝓟𝓵𝓸𝓽 / 𝓣𝓻𝓪𝓶𝓪
During their travels through the orange islands, Ash, Misty and Casey embark on a new adventure in which they must prevent the world from being destroyed due to the imbalance of the 3 elements of nature which leads to chaos. Due to a storm Ash and the others end up on Shamouti Island where a festival is held to honor Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno who are the gods of thunder, fire and ice, and Ash ends up accepting the role of the "chosen one". "and you will have to gather the 3 treasures found on the islands where the 3 gods reside. Ash goes in search of them without wasting time, but on the way time begins to get crazy because a pokémon collector has kidnapped Moltres and has altered the balance, so all the pokémon in the world begin to travel to the island instinctively. Upon arriving on the island after taking the treasure from the fire, they face Zapdos, the god of thunder who has come to take over the island but is also kidnapped by the collector, as are Ash, his friends and the Rocket team.
Durante sus viajes por las islas naranja, Ash, Misty y Casey se embarcan en una nueva aventura en la cual deberán impedir que el mundo sea destruido debido al desequilibrio de los 3 elementos de la naturaleza el cual lleva al caos. Debido a una tormenta Ash y los demás terminan en la Isla Shamouti en la que casualmente se celebra un festival para honrar a Zapdos, Moltres y Articuno los cuales son los dioses del trueno, fuego y hielo, y Ash termina aceptando el papel del "elegido" y deberá reunir los 3 tesoros que se encuentran en las islas en las que los 3 dioses residen. Ash sale en búsqueda de ellos sin perder tiempo pero en el trayecto el tiempo empieza aponerse loco debido a que un coleccionista pokémon ha secuestrado a Moltres y ha alterado el equilibrio por lo que todos los pokémon del mundo comienzan a viajar para la isla instintivamente. Al llegar a la isla luego de tomar el tesoro del fuego se enfrentan a Zapdos, el dios del trueno el cual ha llegado a apoderarse de la isla pero también es secuestrado por el coleccionista, al igual que Ash, sus amigos y el equipo Rocket.
Once inside the collector's ship, he tells them about his plan to catch the legendary Pokémon Lugia, so they decide to do something by freeing Moltres, but then he frees Zapdos, thus unleashing a fight which they try to stop with the help of Lugia. but to appease the anger of Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno, Ash goes in search of the treasure of water which is the only thing missing to be able to play the song that makes the battle stop and with the help of Team Rocket and Lugia he succeeds. Once the 3 meet, they manage to appease the beasts, restoring the peace and order of nature, thus preventing the end of the world.
Una vez dentro de la nave del coleccionista, este les habla de su plan para atrapar al pokémon legenadario Lugia por lo que ellos deciden hacer algo liberando a Moltres pero luego, este libera a Zapdos desatando así una lucha la cual intentan parar con ayuda de Lugia pero para apaciguar la ira de Moltres, Zapdos y Articuno, Ash va en búsqueda del tesoro del agua el cual es el único faltante para poder tocar la canción que hace que cese la batalla y con la ayuda del Equipo Rocket y Lugia lo consigue. Una vez reúnen los 3 logran apaciguar a las bestias restaurando la paz y el orden de la naturaleza impidiendo así el fin del mundo.
𝓟𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓞𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓸𝓷 / 𝓞𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓟𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵
As I told you last time, when I was a child I was a big fan of Pokémon and my parents took me to see this movie at the cinema too and boy did I like it (although in my opinion the best one will always be the first one). This time the movie was accompanied by the Pikachu short called "Pikachu's Rescue Adventure" in which they must rescue Togepi who falls through a hole and lands in an Exeggcute nest and they, believing that Togepi is one of them, did not want to let go, I found it funny and enjoyed it a lot. The movie in general is also very good, I really like the story but I realized that the American version, which is the one that was broadcast here, differs a bit from the Japanese version because they change the plot a bit by making the prophecy name Ash because his name means "ash" which is not the case in the Japanese version, and the song they play to appease the beasts is also different in both versions. I like both versions.
Como les había contado la vez pasada, cuando era niña era muy fan de Pokémon y mis padres me llevaron a ver esta pelicula también al cine y vaya que también me gustó (aunque en mi opinión la mejor siempre será la primera). Esta vez la pelicula vino acompañado del corto de Pikachu llamado "La Aventura del Rescate de Pikachu" en el cual deben rescatar a Togepi el cual cae por un agujero y aterriza en un nido de Exeggcute y ellos creyendo que Togepi es uno de ellos no lo quieren dejar ir, me pareció divertido y lo disfruté mucho. La pelicula en general también es muy buena, me gusta mucho la historia pero me di cuenta que la versión americana la cual es la que transmitieron aqui varía un poco la de la versión japonesa ya que cambian un poco la trama al hacer que la profecía nombraba a Ash porque su nombre significa "ceniza" algo que no es así en la versión japonesa, y la canción que tocan para apaciguar a las bestias también es distinta en ambas versiones. Ambas versiones me gustan.
Other notable differences between the two versions are that some dialogues, since in the American version they refer to the legendary Pokémon as Titans while in the Japanese they call them gods, and stop counting, however, both versions are very good and engaging. I also really liked the evolution of the characters, especially Ash who seems a bit more confident, and also the addition of new characters like Melody, the girl from the village who plays the flute to appease the beasts, her older sister Carol and Maren, the girl who drives the boat in which they travel, is also the only film in which Tracey appears, Ash's companion during his trip to the orange islands. I really like the animation, because although it's simple, it seems the best to me, as is the color palette used in anime. The soundtrack is also very good, but as with the first one, I also like the American soundtrack much better because it brings songs from artists like Donna Summer and Laura Pausini, although the Japanese one is also very good. I really consider it a pretty funny movie and good to pass the time, I think that for those of us who grew up watching pokémon it's hard to forget, and I would like to recommend it to everyone who has not seen it yet, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Otras diferencias notables entre ambas versiones son las que algunos diálogos ya que en la versión americana se refieren a los Pokémon legendarios como Titanes mientras que en la japonesa los llaman dioses,y pare de contar sin embargo, ambas versiones son muy buenas y enganchantes. La evolución de los personajes también me gustó mucho en especial Ash que se muestra un poco más seguro, y también como la adición de nuevos personajes como Melody, la chica de la aldea que toca la flauta para apaciguar a las bestias, su hermana mayor Carol y Maren, la chica que conduce el bote en el que viajan, también es la única película en la que sale Tracey, el compañero de Ash durante su viaje en las islas naranja. La animación de verdad me gusta mucho, ya que aunque es sencilla me parece de lo mejor al igual que la paleta de colores utilizada propia del anime. El soundtrack también es muy bueno pero así como con la primera, de esta también me gusta mucho más el soundtrack americano ya que trae canciones de artistas como Donna Summer y Laura Pausini, aunque el japonés es muy bueno también. De verdad la considero una película bastante divertida y buena para pasar el rato, creo que para los que crecimos viendo pokémon es difícil de olvidar, y me gustaría recomendarla a todos los que todavía no la han visto, espero que la disfruten tanto como yo.

Hola amigaaa, que lindos recuerdos me trae esta película. Adoro Pokémon, aunque no llegue a ver todas las temporadas que salieron, pero recuerdo las primeras con mucho cariño. También la primera película es mi favorita, lloré un montón con el final jajaja.
De esta tengo un recuerdo particular, la primera vez que la vi fue a través de una televisión en un supermercado, en la parte de los televisores siempre tenían alguno prendido pasando películas para que la gente viera como era su calidad de imagen, sonido y demás, un día estaban pasando esta y yo me quedé super enganchada mirándola mientras mis padres hacían sus compras 😂.

La evolución de ash, recuerdo que tengo muchos conflictos con eso porque pareciera aprender cosas, moralejas, reflexiones pero luego se le olvida totalmente y se vuelve inmaduro muy a peor, claro son cosas que pasan en seres con tantas temporadas y años pero siempre tuve ese pensamiento y de hecho no me permitía avanzar viendo la serie porque no veía como un propósito, sin embargo como película veo si logra aprender y eso es positivo
Sabes recientemente vi un memazo, un Meme de Mr Mime, lo llegaste a ver? eso como me hizo reír hasta mas no poder, tengo esa en agenda porque quiero ver eso de nuevo y reí nuevamente con esa escena.
Ojala te animes a hacer mas reviews de esto porque noto viste mucho mas, yo vi hasta que salió la que tiene coletas con un hermanito de lentes pero yo estaba muy avanzado en unversidad y no podía ver continuamente la serie pero la primera si pude y bueno ver a ash perder siempre era gracioso aunque claro yo quería verle ganar y salir de ese ciclo

Pokemon marked our generation, it's incredible all the adventures we managed to live with these characters, I remember many things from this movie because I remember albums of cards and things like that that raised the euphoria of Pokemon.
Another Pokemon movie that had a big impact on me was when Entei appeared in "Pokémon 3: The Movie: Entei - Spell of the Unown" from the year 2000, all of that seemed very mythical to me in the eyes of my childhood.
I liked to remember these things with your post. :)
