Overlord | I just want to eat, how tasty it is?

I find it disrespectful to have taken so long to watch Overlord, damn, this anime is excellent in every way. In this review, I'm going to talk a little bit about the first and second seasons, because I just finished watching the third season, and I still have to watch the fourth season, then, when I watch the complete fourth season maybe I'll do a second review talking about many more things, because here I'm not going to comment anything about what happened in the third season, and that's something I need to talk about urgently, but I can hold back a little bit.

Imagine you're an office worker who went online to play his favorite game for the last time before being disconnected from the network, so you're in the game's virtual world, where you're a maximum level Caster Magic Undead who has his guild and decided to stay and wait for the servers to close in the throne room together with the NPCs they created. The closing time comes, but you're still logged in and time starts to run its course, the NPCs gain consciousness and start talking to you normally, and then you realize that you were transported to another world and now you'll live there forever, trying to follow the facade of Overlord. That's Overlord.

Me parece una falta de respeto haber tardado tanto en ver Overlord, joder, este anime es excelente en todos los sentidos. En esta reseña voy a hablar un poco sobre la primera y la segunda temporada, pues apenas acabo de terminar de ver la tercera temporada, y me falta ver la cuarta temporada, entonces, cuando vea la cuarta temporada completa quizás le haga una segunda reseña hablando de muchas más cosas, porque aquí no voy a comentar nada de lo sucedido en la tercera temporada, y eso es algo de le que necesito hablar con urgencia, pero me puedo aguantar un poco.

Imagina que eres un oficinista que se conectó a jugar por última vez su juego favorito antes de que lo desconecten de la red, así que estás en el mundo virtal del juego, donde eres un Caster Magic Undead a nivel máximo que tiene su propio gremio y decidió quedarse a esperar que cerraran los servidores en el salón del trono junto a los NPC que crearon. La hora del cierre llega, pero sigues conectado y el tiempo comienza a seguir su curso, los NPC cobran consciencia y comienzan a hablarte con normalidad, entonces te das cuenta de que fuiste transportado a otro mundo y ahora vivirás ahí por siempre, tratando de seguir la fachada de Lord Supremo. Eso es Overlord.

If you haven't seen this anime watch it at once without hesitation, from the first minute you are already having fun and the fun never stops, each chapter is full of everything, and it is impossible to get bored watching this masterpiece. During all the chapters there is always something going on, they are planning something, they are doing something, it's an incredible thing, because at least there are always several filler chapters, but not here, everything is perfect content.

One of my favorite things about this anime is the premise because this is not the typical anime where our protagonist is the good guy of the world who fights against the bad guys, on the contrary, here our protagonist is the worst bad guy of all the bad guys in the world, he is the last boss of the dungeon, he is the boss of the bosses, that is, no one can measure himself against him, and that is something that we are not going to see from the beginning, on the contrary, we are going to see it little by little throughout the seasons, yes we will get to see demonstrations of his power, but we will never know the true scope of everything he can do.

Si no han visto este anime vayan a verlo de una vez sin dudarlo, desde el primer minuto ya te estás divirtiendo y la diversión nunca se deteniene, cada capítulo está lleno de todo, es imposible aburrirse viendo esta obra maestra. Durante todos los capítulos siempre está sucediendo algo, están planeando algo, están haciendo algo, es una cosa increíble, porque al menos siempre suele haber varios capítulos de relleno, pero aquí no, todo es contenido perfecto.

Una de mis cosas preferidas de este anime es la premisa, porque este no es el típico anime donde nuestro protagonista es el bueno del mundo que lucha contra los malos, al contrario, aquí nuestro protagonista es el malo más malo de todos los malos del mundo, es el último jefe del calabozo, es el jefe de los jefes, o sea, nadie puede medirse contra él, y eso es algo que no vamos a ver desde el principio, al contrario, vamos a verlo poco a poco con el transcurso de las temporadas, sí vamos a llegar a ver demostraciones de su poder, pero nunca vamos a saber el verdadero alcance de todo lo que puede hacer.

Something wonderful about the anime is that despite all the power of Ainz Ooal Gown, our protagonist, is not omniscient, nor has all the knowledge of the world, so when he arrives in this new world, he has to learn everything again, so little by little he will know the world, the countries that exist, the level of the powers that are common or that the warriors of the kingdoms have, We will be discovering all of that together with him, which will make everything more fun and interesting, because we don't know what the fuck is going on in his mind or what his subordinates will do, and much less do we know everything they discover, because those informative conversations are usually held off-screen because then it would be very boring.

One of the best things about Overlord is seeing our clerk in the role of Supreme Lord, because we are going to hear him constantly struggling against his human nature or rather, not knowing how to be or act according to what is expected of him to be someone with so much power. Seeing him hesitate, not knowing what to do or say, not knowing how to act, that's one of the best things they could have done because it happens when we least expect it and always amuses us.

Algo maravilloso del anime es que a pesar de todo el poder de Ainz Ooal Gown, nuestro protagonista, no es omnisciente, ni tiene todo el conocimiento del mundo, así que al llegar a este nuevo mundo, tiene que aprender todo de nuevo, así que poco a poco va a conocer al mundo, los paises que existen, el nivel de los poderes que son comunes o que tienen los guerreros de los reinos, todo eso lo vamos a ir descubriendo junto a él, cosa que hará todo más divertido e interesante, porque no sabemos qué carajos es lo que pasa por su mente o lo que harán sus subordinados, y mucho menos sabemos todo lo que descubren, porque esas conversaciones informativas suelen tenerlas fuera de pantalla porque entonces sería muy aburrido.

Una de las mejores cosas de Overlord es ver a nuestro oficinista en el rol de Lord Supremo, porque lo vamos a escuchar constantemente luchando contra su naturaleza humana o mejor dicho, sin saber cómo ser o actuar según lo que se espera de él a ser alguien con tanto poder. Verlo dudar, sin saber qué hacer o decir, sin saber cómo actuar, esa es una de las mejores cosas que pudieron haber hecho, la verdad, porque sucede cuando menos lo esperamos y siempre nos divierte.
