RE: Child of Kamiari Month || A Heartwarming Peek on Japanese Mythology

I came here for the mythology but reading you I realize it's not as spectacular as you expected. It's a pity because one of the most fascinating cultures is Japan, basically because of how unknown it is to me. I was hoping this movie would show interesting things, which I think it does, but I see it wasn't enough.
The animation doesn't look great either, it doesn't look bad but I don't feel it's a big deal either. If I dare to watch it I'll think about what you wrote here hahaha.
Cheers!!!

Yeah, the premise was really promising, but unfortunately it fell short on the depiction. Everything about it felt generic, and although I tried to find something that would make it stand out from the anime movies I watched before... I think I can't name one. Japanese mythology was something that really piqued my interest, but it turns out this movie just gave a very shallow peek at what their mythology about. I'm really expecting some well-written god characters, but they turned out pretty uninterestingly portrayed. Anyways, I learned something about it—like what happened during Kanna month... So yeah, I guess it wasn't a complete waste after all.
Thanks for stopping by @javyeslava.photo. Cheers also!
