There are many stories about the dark times when the terrorist group ETA was active in Spain. Movies, series, etc; some productions better than others. It is also a recurring theme in the cinema of that country, as it is part of history. One of the first films I saw on this subject was called Días Contados, which I think is one of the best films of the time.
Likewise, the subject of the Infutrados within the terrorist organization has also been dealt with in the past. El Lobo was another film that I liked very much in the 1930s. It was also inspired by real events, an agent of the Spanish secret services who managed to give a hard blow to the terrorists. But he spent about two or three years undercover.
The novelty of The Infiltrator is that it tells the story of the first infiltrator (according to the director in several interviews) of the National Police, who was also a woman and lasted about eight years. Wow! Eight years with another identity, without contact with her family, living a fictitious life, disconnected from who she was and having to relate to people she detested. It's a pretty difficult situation, because even though you're doing your job and they're your enemies, it's hard to avoid sympathizing with some of the people you have to destroy.
The real names of all those previously involved were not used, to preserve anonymity and their safety, although the main cast has said that they had the opportunity to meet several of them in person, who told them enough to help them build their characters, minus the actual infiltrator who preferred to remain anonymous.
Hay muchas historias sobre los oscuros tiempos en que la banda terrorista ETA estuvo activa en España. Películas, series, etc; algunas producciones mejores que otras. También es un tema recurrente en el cine de ese país, ya que forma parte de la historia. Una de las primeras películas que vi sobre este tema se llamaba Días Contados, que me parece una de las mejores películas de la época.
Igualmente, el tema de los Infutrados dentro de la organización terrorista también ha sido tratado en el pasado. El Lobo fue otra película que me gustó mucho en la década de los treinta. También estaba inspirada en hechos reales, un agente de los servicios secretos españoles que consiguió dar un duro golpe a los terroristas. Pero pasó unos dos o tres años infiltrado.
La novedad de El Infiltrado es que cuenta la historia del primer infiltrado (según el director en varias entrevistas) de la Policía Nacional, que además era mujer y duró unos ocho años. ¡Vaya! Ocho años con otra identidad, sin contacto con su familia, viviendo una vida ficticia, desconectada de quién era y teniendo que relacionarse con gente a la que detestaba. Es una situación bastante difícil, porque aunque estés haciendo tu trabajo y sean tus enemigos, es difícil evitar simpatizar con algunas de las personas a las que tienes que destruir.
No se utilizaron los nombres reales de todos los implicados anteriormente, para preservar el anonimato y su seguridad, aunque el reparto principal ha dicho que tuvo la oportunidad de conocer en persona a varios de ellos, que les contaron lo suficiente para ayudarles a construir sus personajes, menos la infiltrada real que prefirio seguir siendo anonima.
I liked the work of filmmaker Arantxa Echevarria. She has several films in her fimography that have given her notoriety, but they were of a different genre than this one. The film has density and tension. Perhaps the first years of the infiltrated agent pass too quickly, I would have liked to go deeper in that part, but it would have lengthened the story too much.
Carolina Yuste plays La Infitrada, her work is splendid and she has well deserved the Goya award she received last weekend. Her award speech was in the style of that ill-fated leftist gala, but her work in the film is quite remarkable. The rest of the cast is also good, of course with Luis Tosar, repeating his performance, but it's good to see him. Good setting and recreation of the nineties. The film becomes more tense when the character played by actor Diego Anido enters, who plays a very nasty terrorist assassin, this actor fits very well with disgusting characters.
La infiltrada was one of the winners for best film at the Goya Awards. For the first time in the history of these awards, there was a tie in the number of devotees for both films. That's what they said in the official press release, but I don't believe it. The other winner is the film The 47th, which I did not want to review, because it is leftist propaganda. The infiltrator is better, besides it does not romanticize the terrorist characters. These people killed more than 850 people with their bombings and targeted assassinations. They destroyed families and did a lot of damage. They are scum and should be portrayed for what they are, even if some say they are sorry, there are things that cannot be fully forgiven.
One of the producers of the film was the one who gave the most coherent speech at the Goyas. He completely bucked the trend of everyone else. He was the light in the midst of all the political propaganda of a single tendency. La infiltrada is a good trhiller, a form of commercial cinema with a theme that is worth remembering, to see the mistakes of a not so distant past so as not to make them again.

Me ha gustado el trabajo de la cineasta Arantxa Echevarria. Tiene varias películas en su fimografía que le han dado notoriedad, pero eran de género diferente a ésta. La película tiene densidad y tensión. Quizá los primeros años de la agente infiltrada pasan demasiado rápido, me hubiera gustado profundizar más en esa parte, pero hubiera alargado demasiado la historia.
Carolina Yuste interpreta a La Infitrada, su trabajo es espléndido y tiene bien merecido el premio Goya que recibió el pasado fin de semana. Su discurso de entrega fue al estilo de esa nefasta gala izquierdista, pero su trabajo en la película es bastante notable. El resto del reparto también bien, por supuesto con Luis Tosar, repitiendo con su interpretación, pero da gusto verle. Buena ambientación y recreación de los noventa. La película se vuelve más tensa cuando entra el personaje interpretado por el actor Diego Anido, que interpreta a un asesino terrorista muy desagradable, este actor encaja muy bien con personajes asqueantes.
La infiltrada fue una de las ganadoras a la mejor película en los Premios Goya. Por primera vez en la historia de estos premios, hubo un empate en el número de devotos para ambas películas. Eso es lo que decían en la nota de prensa oficial, pero yo no me lo creo. La otra ganadora es la película El 47, que no quise reseñar, porque es propaganda izquierdista. La infiltrada es mejor, además no romantiza a los personajes terroristas. Esta gente mató a más de 850 personas con sus atentados y asesinatos selectivos. Destruyeron familias e hicieron mucho daño. Son escoria y deben ser retratados como lo que son, aunque algunos digan que lo sienten, hay cosas que no se pueden perdonar del todo.
Uno de los productores de la película fue el que pronunció el discurso más coherente en los Goya. Se desmarcó completamente de la tendencia de todos los demás. Era la luz en medio de toda la propaganda política de una única tendencia. La infiltrada es un buen trhiller, una forma de cine comercial con un tema que conviene recordar, ver los errores de un pasado no tan lejano para no volver a cometerlos.

Primera vez que también escucho que nos películas quedan empanadas en unos premios.
No soy mucho de ver películas españolas, si me he visto algunas y me han gustado. No te visto La infiltrada, tendré que verla Pero por tu reseña veo que es interesante, una producción bien hecha, con algunos detalles Pero nada que arruiné la experiencia del espectador.

Lo mejor de todos son dos cosas, la actriz gano el premio, bien merecido, vi el tráiler y la actuación, lo poco que vi, me pareció muy buena y segundo que traten el tema como realmente fue, un horror, unos asesinos esos. Las cosas como son...la verdad y la realidad. No entiendo que haya gente que los justifique.

Hoy vi un video donde sale una tipa que es Pro etarra criticando la película y el discurso de la productora, incluso dijo que los goya eran fascistas, cuando fue un espectáculo de pura izquierda. Esa gente tiene la mente bien enferma.
Y cada vez la gente está más enferma... no entiendo como tienen esa mente!
