Hello again friends, it's great to be able to share with you again a new movie experience.
Some time ago I decided that my favorite streaming platform is Apple TV, so far none of their movies or series has disappointed me, so confident I've watched some sure that I'm going to like them. As was the case of a miniseries that I've been watching the last few weeks.
The truth is I don't know how I used to finish the series in days, time doesn't allow me to do it anymore, however, I was able to finish watching it yesterday and today I want to tell you about it and why I feel you should watch it.

Hace algún tiempo decidí que mi plataforma de streaming favorita es Apple TV, hasta ahora ninguna de sus películas ni series me ha decepcionado, por lo que confiada he visto algunas segura de que estas me van a gustar. Como fue el caso de una minisrie que estuve viendo las últimas semanas.
La verdad no se como hacia antes para terminar las series en días, el tiempo ya no me lo permite, sin embargo, pude terminar de verla ayer y hoy quiero contarles sobre ella y porque siento que deben verla.

The series is based on a book by William Landay which came out about 10 years ago, at some point I heard about this book but I could never read it, as it happened with the series I had seen parts of the series on the Internet but I have not had the time to watch it, until finally I could and I'm glad it happened.
In it we see the story of Jacob and his parents Andy and Laurie, a normal family with a quiet life, until it suddenly ceased to be. Their life changed completely when Andy as a lawyer and prosecutor was called to a case of murder of a minor, a case like any other until he learns that the boy who died (Ben) was a classmate of his son.
Seeing that someone so close to their son had died in such a tragic way affected them greatly, as well as seeing the deep pain felt by the boy's parents. However, Andy had to put those feelings aside and take on the task of finding the culprit of Ben's death, a job that became a little complicated.
La serie está basada en un libro de William Landay qué salió hace unos 10 años atrás, en algún momento escuché sobre este libro pero nunca pude leerlo, al igual que me ocurrió con la serie hace bastante que había visto partes de la serie en Internet pero no hay tenido el tiempo para poder verla, hasta que por fin se pudo y me alegra que halla pasado.
En ella vemos la historia de Jacob y sus padres Andy y Laurie, una familia normal con una vida tranquila, hasta que de pronto dejó de serlo. La vida les cambio por completo cuando a Andy como abogado y fiscal fue llamado para un caso de asesinato de un menor, un caso como cualquiera hasta que se entera de que él chico que murió (Ben) era compañero de clase de su hijo.
Al ver que alguien tan cercano a su hijo había muerto de una forma tan trágica, les afectó muchísimo,ademas de ver el dolor profundo qué sentían los padres drl chico. Sin embargo Andy debía dejar esos sentimientos de lado y encargarse de buscar al culpable de la muerte de Ben, un trabajo que se volvió un poco complicado.

Out of nowhere, everything pointed out that the main suspect was their own son, Jacob, causing a lot of conflicts to the family, the hatred of everyone and also the loss of all the close friends who decided to abandon them in their worst moment. Usually there are episodes in which the series are just filler and the series and get a little boring, however I was very surprised that this series was in its entirety interesting and each episode left me wanting to see the next one, to the extent that despite everything I finished watching it h I was looking forward to doing so.
It has a plot that grabs you and you can only identify or empathize with what you are feeling each of the characters, their frustration, their fear and even their anger. In each episode you learn something new AND I guess that keeps you completely intrigued to know what's going to happen next.
De la nada, todo apuntaba a que el principal sospechoso era su propio hijo, Jacob, causando muchísimos conflictos a la familia, el odio de todos y además la pérdida de todos los amigos cercanos que decidieron abandonarlos en su peor momento. Y tal como el título de la serie lo indica, la familia hace lo posible por defender a Jacob.
Por lo general hay episodios en los que las series solo hay relleno y las series y se ponen un poco aburridas, sin embargo me sorprendió mucho que esta serie fue en su totalidad interesante y cada episodio me dejaba con muchas ganas de ver el siguiente, al grado de que pese a todo terminé de verla h esperaba con ansias hacerlo.
Tiene una trama que te atrapa y no puedes más que identificarte o empatizar con lo que estás sintiendo cada uno de los personajes, su frustración, su miedo y hasta su rabia. En cada episodio que te entera de algo nuevo Y supongo que eso te mantiene completamente intrigado por saber qua va a pasar a continuación.

The series awoke in me a little fear of going through something like that, I could understand well what the accused and his family were going through, but on the other hand I understood what the other family was feeling, the one that wanted justice for what happened to their son, so it is one of those series in which you can not support any of them, just understand them.
The series brought for me a completely unexpected ending, an ending criticized by many people because personally I think it was well done, I agreed with the plot and how the series was painted. So even though at the time I was a little shocked, I accepted it.
I was also surprised to see how much love parents have for their children, but how this can become an enemy when it comes to a serious mistake made, because that love can get us to not believe that it is capable of doing something wrong. But also, how difficult it is to have to have these feelings of confusion when not knowing whether or not to believe what your loved one says.
I loved the series and feel it is something we should all watch in case we are looking for some entertainment, drama, intrigue and most of all something that makes us want to keep watching the next episode. So I recommend you to watch this interesting series and in case you have seen it I would like to know what you thought of it. See you soon friends, we'll read each other next time.
La serie despertó mi un pequeño temor de pasar por algo como eso, podía entender bien lo que estaba pasando el acusado y su familia, pero por otro lado entendía lo que estaba sintiendo la otra familia, la que quería que se hiciera justicia por lo que le ocurrió a su hijo,así que es una de esas series en las que no puedes apoyar a ninguno, simplemente comprenderlos.
La serie trajo para mí un final completamente inesperado, un final criticado por muchas personas porque en lo personal me parece que estuvo bien hecho, acordé con la trama y de cómo venía pintando la serie. Así que a pesar de que en su momento me impactó un poco, lo acepté.
También me sorprendió ver hasta qué grado llega el amor de los padres hacia sus hijos, pero como este puede convertirse en un enemigo cuando se trata de un grave error cometido, pues ese amor puede llegarnos a no creer que es capaz de hacer algo malo. Pero también, que difícil es tener que tener estos sentimientos de confusión al no saber si creer o no lo que dice tu ser amado.
Me encantó la serie y siento que es algo que todos deberíamos ver en caso de que estemos buscando algo de entretenimiento, drama, intriga y sobre todo que haga que queramos seguir viendo el siguiente episodio. Así que Les recomiendo ver esta serie interesante y en caso de que la hayan visto me gustaría saber qué les pareció. Hasta pronto amigos, nos leeremos la próxima ocasión.
