Hello everyone! I hope you are feeling great today. This time I want to share with you all, a new review, this time of a very curious and original anime, released in 2020. It is an anime that really surprised me for good, from the first episode I was totally hooked with the story... it is the anime: Kakushigoto. The main premise is the following: Goto, is a mangaka, for people who are not very familiar with this kind of terms, a “mangaka” is a writer and cartoonist, and his productions are similar to American comics, that is, it is an illustrated story.

Well, our protagonist writes a manga, but this is a manga with an adult content, i.e. for adults... with mixtures of humor, you could say that it is not appropriate for minors, the question is what... Goto has a daughter.. and the story of this anime will focus on how Goto will have to hide his profession from his daughter, Hime. The reason for this, is a great fear that his daughter will lose respect for him, if she really finds out the nature of his work... this creates a very fun father-daughter dynamic to watch, this series has great comedy, which I managed to enjoy a lot, it has a perfect balance between subtle and exaggerated humor.... Most of the funny situations come out of poor Goto's hilarious attempts to keep his secret, they really got a genuine laugh out of me... the facial gestures of the characters, add so much more humor to the crazy situations, I feel this series struck the right balance.

En esta ocasión quiero compartirles a todos ustedes, una nueva reseña, esta vez de un anime bastante curioso y original, estrenado en el año 2020. Es un anime que realmente me sorprendió para bien, desde el primer episodio quede totalmente enganchado con la historia.. se trata del anime: Kakushigoto. La premisa principal es la siguiente: Goto, es un mangaka, para las personas que no estén muy familiarizadas con este tipo de términos, un “mangaka” es un escritor y dibujante, y sus producciones son parecidas a los comics americanos, es decir, es una historia ilustrada.

Bueno, nuestro protagonista escribe un manga, pero este es de contenido subido de tono, es decir para adultos.. con mezclas de humor, podría decirse que no es apropiado para menores de edad, la cuestión es qué.. Goto tiene una hija.. y la historia de este anime se centrará en como Goto tendrá que ocultar su profesión a su hija, Hime. La razón de esto, es un gran temor a que su hija pierda el respeto por él, si descubre realmente la naturaleza de su trabajo… esto crea una dinámica padre-hija muy divertida de ver, esta serie tiene una comedia genial, que logre disfrutar mucho, tiene un equilibrio perfecto entre humor sutil y exagerado.. La mayoría de situaciones cómicas salen de los divertidos intentos del pobre Goto por mantener su secreto, realmente me sacaron risas genuinas.. los gestos faciales de los personajes, le añaden mucho más humor a las locas situaciones, siento que esta serie logro un equilibrio muy adecuado.

In addition to the comedy here, this anime also has its fair share of emotional episodes. The relationship between Goto and his daughter is very touching. He is a father who, despite his quirks, and his kind of job, tries very hard to be a good father to Hime.. he has a lot of love and dedication towards her, it was very noticeable throughout the series, all the things he does for her, and how you really feel like you are watching a father who loves his daughter.

Hime, is a very adorable, and well behaved girl.. who also cares a lot for her father, the interaction between these two is so charming.. it's impossible not to get attached to these characters! And well, among other aspects that I really liked about this anime, is that from the beginning, they show us little scenes from the future, where Hime is already older.. and she starts to be more interested in her father's real work... This is amazing, because they created a contrast between present and future that adds a very interesting layer of intrigue to the series.

La relación entre Goto y su hija, es muy conmovedora.. Él es un padre que, a pesar de sus rarezas, y de su tipo de trabajo, se esfuerza muchísimo por ser un buen padre para Hime.. tiene mucho amor y dedicación hacia ella, se notó mucho a lo largo de la serie, todas las cosas que hace por ella, y como realmente sientes estar viendo a un padre que ama a su hija.

Hime, es una niña muy adorable, y bien portada.. que también se preocupa mucho por su padre, la interacción entre estos dos es tan encantadora.. es imposible no encariñarte con estos personajes! Y bueno, entre otros aspectos que me gustó mucho de este anime, es que desde el principio, nos van mostrando pequeñas escenas del futuro, donde Hime está ya más grande.. y se empieza a interesar mucho más por el trabajo real de su padre.. Esto es increíble, porque crearon un contraste entre presente y futuro que agrega una capa de intriga muy interesante a la serie.

Although most of the time the series is cheerful, the scenes of the future tend to have a more suspenseful tone, which keeps you super into the plot, waiting with great curiosity, I started to imagine theories related to what I thought was going to happen. As for the animation... I feel it is simple, and effective... it has bright colors, very nice, the details in the expressions are very noticeable, and as I said, they are great in the comic moments. I didn't feel it was neglected at any moment, it has its touch and it works perfectly to tell this story, it transmits a certain charm...

The music I also liked a lot, and I feel that they knew how to use it to perfection, both in the comic moments, as in some sad and emotional ones, the Opening I liked a lot, it's not the best I've seen, but it serves perfectly to call your attention a little bit, the song is emotional, and the visuals are beautiful, fitting perfectly with the aesthetics of the series ... As for the ending... I guess it's not really my style, I don't remember it that much...

DALE CLICK AQUÍ PARA VER LA VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOLAunque la mayoría del tiempo la serie es alegre, las escenas del futuro suelen tener un tono más de suspenso, que te mantiene súper dentro de la trama, esperando con mucha curiosidad, yo me empezaba a imaginar teorías relacionadas con lo que pensaba que iba a pasar. En cuanto a la animación.. siento que es sencilla, y efectiva.. tiene colores brillantes, muy lindos, se notan bien los detalles en las expresiones, que como les comentaba, son geniales en los momentos cómicos. No la sentí descuidada en ningún momento, tiene su toque y sirve perfectamente para contar esta historia, te transmite cierto encanto..

La música que también me gusto mucho, y siento que supieron usarla a la perfección, tanto en los momentos cómicos, como en algunos más tistes y emotivos, el Opening me gusto mucho, no es de los mejores que he visto, pero sirve perfectamente para llamarte un poquito la atención, la canción es emotiva, y las visuals son hermosas, encajando perfectamente con la estética de la serie.. En cuanto al ending.. creo que no es mucho de mi estilo, no lo recuerdo mucho la verdad..

As for the supporting characters... they all have their certain charm, and mostly contribute something to the plot, and to the overall comedy of the episodes.... I liked Goto's co-workers a lot, as well as other characters that are introduced little by little, some of them in Hime's life... All of them are charismatic, although of course, they don't have the same development the main character duo, but it's good to mention that their presence serves to enrich the story.

I felt that Kakushigoto handled in a great way the balance between the episodes, and the plot in general.. narratively, I saw it very good. Another thing that I feel is a plus, is how through Goto's eyes, we see small glimpses of what is the manga industry.. we will see the challenges and peculiarities of what it is to be a mangaka, but this is not the main focus of the series, and it does not delve much into this, it is interesting to see how the personal life of this gentleman is mixed, with his work...

This is a series that I highly recommend, I feel that it is a gem that combines great comedy, emotion and that touch of mystery in a way that makes you get into it, and watch many more episodes. The relationship between Goto and his daughter, is without a doubt, the core of the series, their story is so well developed that you will undoubtedly get attached to them, and their situations are touching. I give it a rating of 8.5/10. It is a series that I enjoyed a lot, with a perfect ending, that left me with a big smile on my face and some tears in my eyes. Los compañeros de trabajo de Goto me gustaron mucho, así como también otros personajes que se van introduciendo poco a poco, algunos en la vida de Hime.. Todos ellos son carismáticos, aunque claro, no tienen el mismo desarrollo el dúo protagonista, pero es bueno mencionar que su presencia sirve para enriquecer la historia.

Sentí que Kakushigoto manejo de una manera genial el balance entre los episodios, y la trama en general.. narrativamente, lo vi muy bueno. Otra cosa que siento que es un plus, es como a través de los ojos de Goto, vemos pequeños vistazos a lo que es la industria del manga.. veremos los desafíos y peculiaridades de lo que es ser un mangaka, pero esto no es el foco principal de la serie, y no se profundiza mucho en esto, es interesante ver como se mezcla la vida personal de este señor, con su trabajo..

Esta es una serie que recomiendo mucho, siento que es una joya que combina genialmente comedia, emoción y ese toque de misterio de una manera que te hace adentrarte, y ver muchos mas episodios. La relación entre Goto y su hija, es sin duda, el núcleo de la serie, su historia está tan bien desarrollada que sin duda se encariñaran con ellos, y sus situaciones conmovedoras. Le doy una calificación de 8.5/10. Es una serie que disfrute bastante, con un cierre perfecto, que me dejo con una gran sonrisa en la cara y algunas lágrimas en los ojos.
