Este 28 de enero era una fecha que tenía marcada en mi agenda desde hace ya algunas semanas, un reconocido grupo productor llamado Barquicinema serían los organizadores de este evento, esta organización también realiza capacitaciones en producción, dirección, e incluso ramas como la actuación y teatro, por lo que poseen una estructura organizacional bastante impresionante, sobre todo, a ver tantas producciones en cortometrajes que estaban promocionando en una sala de cine repleta.

Muchos Jóvenes Interesados en Aprender de Cine

Siendo totalmente sincero, no había asistido anteriormente a este tipo de eventos, además, pensaba que asistiría poca gente, sin embargo, no pude estar más equivocado. Mucha gente aglomeraba el lugar, este es un cine pequeño, pero tal multitud hacía que mantuviera la atención de no pisar o golpear a nadie mientras caminaba, me sorprendió la gran multitud, sobre todo, de jóvenes, nuevos actores, actrices junto a sus equipos técnicos y directores, algo fenomenal.

Primera Función

El primer segmento se dedicó para presentar cortometrajes del año pasado, producido por este grupo llamado Barquicinema, cuando entramos a la sala de cine no había ni una sola butaca disponible (llegamos tan solo unos minutos tarde) tuvimos que ver los cortometrajes de pie en el pasillo antes de llegar a las butacas, la verdad que nunca imaginé que la sala pudiese estar repleta.

Análisis de los Cortometrajes

Como soy una persona analítica y que también me agrada analizar producciones audiovisuales, no pude evitar de analizar los cortometrajes que pude ver, sin embargo, hay características generalizadas que puedo mencionar.

Calidad Técnica:

Esto me llenó de alegría, ver que las producciones tenían ese aspecto técnico que muchas veces he pensado que tanto le hace falta a nuestras películas venezolanas, en algunos casos el juego de cámaras era extraordinario que se entrelazaba a la perfección con la banda sonora. Me gustó mucho lo que vi, un nivel profesional que confieso, no esperaba ver con chicos tan jóvenes, sobre todo, en el juego de cámaras y las tomas que se realizaban, había algunas tomas impresionantes que me hicieron preguntar ¿Cómo hicieron eso?

Buenas Actuaciones:

Aunque pude ver varios cortos y mejores actuaciones que otras en cada producción, puedo decir que dentro de los cortometrajes que pude ver, el balance actoral es positivo desde mi punto de vista, por supuesto, hubo cortos que desde un punto de vista actoral no me agradaron demasiado, pero otros me sorprendieron por la habilidad de actuación, gestos tan simples como una sonrisa o una reacción de enfado, en muchas ocasiones lo estos jóvenes lo hacían de maravilla.

Alfombra Roja

Me agradó la alfombra roja, en donde directores y actores posaban orgullosamente con su póster de los cortometrajes, póster muy interesantes y con una calidad artística muy buena, cada póster tenía su magnetismo propio y despertaba la curiosidad.

Entre fotos y risas, pude conocer a algunos actores de los cortometrajes que recién había visto, algo que le otorga un valor agregado a la experiencia.

Muchos Nombres

Algo a resaltar era la cantidad de actores y directores mostrados en los pósteres de los cortometrajes, hace años atrás se repetían infinidades de veces los mismos nombres, entre actores y directores, en este evento notamos muchos nombres distintos, es decir que el grupo es muy amplio y que además de tener el recurso humano necesario también los equipos técnicos para sus producciones.

Larga Fila para ver Los Cortometrajes (Segunda Función)

En la última etapa del evento, frente a la sala de cine principal y más grande del este cine llamado BOX al oeste de Barquisimeto, una larga fila de espectadores, siendo completamente honesto, no había visto este número de personas en este cine, sobre todo, esperando para entrar a una función paga, incluso el boleto supera el precio de un boleto común a cualquier película, es decir que fue un éxito total.

Hablando con los Organizadores

Cuando llegamos, pudimos hacer el contacto con uno de los directivos del grupo Barquicinema, mencionamos la oportunidad que ofrece el ecosistema de Hive para la creación de contenido cinematográfico, así como aspectos técnicos como el producto final, como por ejemplo el cortometraje realizado, además de tener la posibilidad de que los mismos estudiantes puedan pagar parte de los cursos en HBD.

Por ahora las conversaciones están en su etapa más temprana, pero soy optimista y contamos muchas ideas respecto a este grupo de cine, teniendo en cuenta que tanto @jcrodriguez como mi persona, somos moderadores de la comunidad Movies & Tv Shows.

A lot of people crowded the place, this is a small cinema, but such a crowd made me keep my attention not to step on or hit anyone while walking, I was surprised by the large crowd, especially, of young, new actors, actresses along with their technical teams and directors, something phenomenal.

First Function

The first segment was dedicated to present short films from last year, produced by this group called Barquicinema, when we entered the cinema there was not a single seat available (we were only a few minutes late) we had to watch the short films standing in the aisle before getting to the seats, I never imagined that the room could be full.

Analysis of the Short Films

As I am an analytical person who also likes to analyse audiovisual productions, I could not help but analyse the short films I was able to see, however, there are generalised characteristics that I can mention.

Technical Quality:

This filled me with joy, to see that the productions had that technical aspect that I have often thought is so lacking in our Venezuelan films, in some cases the camerawork was extraordinary that intertwined perfectly with the soundtrack. I really liked what I saw, a professional level that I confess, I didn't expect to see with such young people, especially in the camera play and the shots that were taken, there were some impressive shots that made me ask how did they do that?

Good Performances:

Although I could see several short films and better performances than others in each production, I can say that within the short films I could see, the acting balance is positive from my point of view, of course, there were short films that from an acting point of view I did not like too much, but others surprised me by the acting ability, gestures as simple as a smile or an angry reaction, in many occasions these young people did it wonderfully.

Red Carpet

I liked the red carpet, where directors and actors proudly posed with their posters of the short films, very interesting posters with a very good artistic quality, each poster had its own magnetism and aroused curiosity.

Between photos and laughter, I was able to meet some of the actors of the short films that I had just seen, something that gives an added value to the experience.

Many names

Something to highlight was the amount of actors and directors shown in the posters of the short films, years ago the same names were repeated infinite times, between actors and directors, in this event we noticed many different names, that is to say that the group is very wide and that besides having the necessary human resources they also have the technical equipment for their productions.

Long line to see The Short Films (Second Showing)

In the last stage of the event, in front of the main and biggest cinema hall of this cinema called BOX west of Barquisimeto, a long line of spectators, being completely honest, I had not seen this number of people in this cinema, above all, waiting to enter a paid function, even the ticket exceeds the price of a common ticket to any film, that is to say that it was a total success.

Talking to the Organisers

When we arrived, we were able to make contact with one of the directors of the Barquicinema group, we mentioned the opportunity offered by the Hive ecosystem for the creation of film content, as well as technical aspects such as the final product, for example the short film made, as well as having the possibility for the students themselves to pay for part of the courses at HBD.

For now the conversations are in their earliest stage, but I am optimistic and we have a lot of ideas regarding this film group, considering that both @jcrodriguez and myself are moderators of the Movies & Tv Shows community.
