A walk among Vikings and Dragons [ENG/ES]

In this post I want to share a very special moment, not only for me, but also for my little girl. For a long time, I had wanted to take her to the cinema, but the opportunity had never arisen (or maybe I hadn't been trying to find the time😉). Finally, I decided to stop delaying and take her to see a movie. In Cuba, the cinema is quite accessible and always has a good selection of films, the problem is that it is a bit far from where we live, but on this occasion, taking advantage of the fact that we were at my in-laws' house and that the cinema was close by, we planned to go on a Sunday afternoon to the Sala 3D screening at the Charles Chaplin cinema to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2".
My little girl was very excited from the day before, and even I felt the same way, because I feel like a little girl when it comes to going for a stroll. This outing reminded me of those moments when I was little and from the day before I was anxious for the day of the outing to arrive. I would go to bed excited thinking about where I would go, and when I woke up the next day, I would wake up full of energy and excitement jaja. Lovely memory! ❤️
This is a film for children, and although it is from 2014 we had not had the opportunity to see it before. The Charles Chaplin cinema is one of the best known cinemas in Cuba, where many films are premiered, and one of the promoters of the New Latin American Film Festival held in the country. It is located on a very well known and central avenue in Havana. We went there with my husband, our daughter María Claudia and me. The little girl was very happy as it was her first time at the cinema. On the way, I was telling her about my memories of when my parents used to take me to see films, and I was reliving those moments.
When we arrived at the cinema we found it a bit empty, there were not many people, probably because of the time. However, it was much better for us, as we had the cinema almost at our disposal. When we entered, we sat where the usherette suggested, in the middle and close to the screen to have a better view.
We only waited a few minutes, and then the lights went out to start showing the film. We put on our 3D glasses, which were a bit too big for my little girl, but they looked adorable on her! Jeje 🕶, and... the film started. Maria Claudia, as soon as she saw the dragons flying across the screen, stretched her hands forward, as if she wanted to catch them or that they wouldn't fall on her, that made me laugh, but I confess that I almost did the same thing jaja, they really looked like they were coming out of the screen.
The film was amazing! It was funny and emotional at the same time. Of the three parts it was the one I liked the most, and seeing it through the 3D experience made it even more amazing. The cinema left a very good impression on me, it is very well kept, and it seems to have been recently repaired, I loved that the room was air-conditioned, that the seats were quite comfortable (considering they are cinema seats), and the audio system in the room was exceptional, from anywhere it could be hear the sound, you could either feel a dragon roaring from behind or hear the sound of the Battle from the sides. Excellent! 👍
It was a nice experience that the three of us enjoyed, a very entertaining outing that we would like to repeat. But our tour didn't end there. After the show, the cinema gave us an appetite and we agreed that we wanted something sweet. So, to finish on a high note, we went to a nearby ice-cream parlour that makes delicious handmade ice-creams 🍨. I can't say for sure if my daughter liked the movie or the ice cream more, I think she loved both equally!
It was my ideal outing, a nearby place, an entertaining movie, and watching my daughter enjoy the moment. Sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones, and for me this was one of them.

En esta publicación quiero compartir un momento muy especial, no solo para mí, también para mí niña. Desde hace tiempo, había querido llevarla al cine, pero nunca había surgido la oportunidad (o quizás yo no había buscado el momento 😉). Finalmente, decidí dejar de dilatarlo y llevarla a ver una película. En Cuba, el cine es bastante accesible y siempre tiene una buena selección de películas, lo complicado es que nos queda un poco alejado de donde vivimos, pero en esta ocasión aprovechando que estábamos en casa de mis suegros y que el cine nos quedaba cerca, planeamos ir un domingo en la tarde a la función de la Sala 3D del cine Charles Chaplin, para ver "Como entrenar a tu Dragón 2"
Mi niña estaba muy emocionada desde el día anterior, y hasta yo me sentía igual, y es que me siento como una niña pequeña cuando se trata de pasear. Esta salida me hizo recordar esos momentos cuando era pequeña y desde el día anterior estaba ansiosa porque llegara el día del paseo. Me acostaba ilusionada pensando en el lugar a donde iría, y al despertar al día siguiente, me levantaba llena de energía y emoción jaja ¡Lindo recuerdo! ❤️
Esta es una película para niños, y aunque es del año 2014 no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de verla antes. El cine Charles Chaplin es uno de los cines más conocidos de Cuba, donde se estrenan muchas películas, y uno de los promotores del Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano que se celebra en el país. Está ubicado en una avenida muy reconocida y céntrica de la ciudad Habana. Hasta allá nos fuimos mi esposo, nuestra niña María Claudia y yo. La niña estaba muy contenta ya que era su primera vez en el cine. En el camino, le contaba mis recuerdos de cuando mis padres solían llevarme a ver películas, e iba reviviendo aquellos momentos.
Al llegar al cine lo encontramos un poco vacío, no había muchas personas, probablemente por la hora. Sin embargo, para nosotros fue mucho mejor, así teníamos el cine casi a nuestra disposición. Al entrar, nos sentamos donde la acomodadora nos sugirió, en el centro y próximos a la pantalla para tener mejor visión.
Solo esperamos unos poco minutos, y enseguida se apagaron las luces para empezar a proyectar el filme. Nos pusimos las gafas 3D que a mi niña le quedaban un poco grandes, ¡pero le lucían adorables! Jeje 🕶, y… empezó la película María Claudia en cuanto vio los dragones volar por la pantalla estiró las manos hacia adelante, como si quisiera cogerlos o que no le cayeran encima, eso me dio mucha gracia, pero confieso que yo casi hago lo mismo jaja, es que realmente parecían salir de la pantalla.
¡La película estuvo increíble! simpática y emotiva a la vez. De las tres partes ha sido la que más me ha gustado, y verla mediante la experiencia 3D la hizo más asombrosa. El cine me dejó muy buena impresión, está muy bien cuidado, y al parecer recién reparado, me encantó que la sala estaba climatizada, que los asientos eran bastante cómodos (considerando que son asientos de cine), y el sistema de audio en la sala era excepcional, desde cualquier lugar se podía escuchar el sonido, lo mismo podías sentir a un dragón rugiendo desde atrás que oír el sonido de la Batalla desde los laterales. ¡Excelente! 👍
Fue una bonita experiencia que disfrutamos los tres, una salida muy entretenida que quisiéramos repetir. Pero nuestro paseo no terminó ahí. Después de la función, el cine nos abrió el apetito y coincidimos en que queríamos algo dulce. Así que, para cerrar con broche de oro, fuimos a una heladería cercana que elabora unos helados artesanales riqusimos 🍨. No puedo decir con certeza si a mi hija le gustó más la película o el helado, ¡creo que ambos le encantaron por igual!
Fue mi salida ideal, un lugar cercano, una película entretenida, y ver a mi hija disfrutar del momento. A veces, los mejores momentos son aquellos más simples, y para mí este fue uno de ellos.

Me encanta esta película 😍🎥 disfruto mucho con mi las ocurrencias de sus personajes muy bien trabajados, que decir de la historia pues es excelente el tema de la convivencia de los humanos con los dragones, los que una vez eran enemigos para luego volverse ambos lados una parte del otro. En mi provincia tenemos un cine 🎥 pero que funcione es otra historia, me alegro mucho de que el de la capital trabaje para que niños y adultos disfruten de la magia de las películas.
Bueno pues ya ve anotando a donde quieres ir cuando vengas de visita a La Habana, Coopelia, cine... La película es genial, me gustó mucho.

Oh, no sabía que en el Chaplin ponen pelis en 3D. La última vez que fue al cine creo que fue cuando el Festival, pero de hace dos años jajaj. Ahora estoy yendo más a teatros.

Interesante salida al cine en familia. Llevar a tu hija a ver la tercera serie del dragón te trajo recuerdos de tu infancia, lo cual es digno de recordar.
