Elemental 🔥💧🌩🌳 | I enjoyed the graphics [EN][ES]

There are many things for which I can enjoy a movie, one of them is the graphic aspect, which goes hand in hand with the design. The movie can have a very bad argument, with bad acting, voices, etc, but if the graphic aspect is well worked, then I enjoy the movie. In the case of Elemental I liked everything, a family movie, with nice messages, entertaining and with a graphic aspect that I loved from the beginning to the end. By the way, the movie reminded me of a little web game called Fireboy and Watergirl haha.

Hay muchas cosas por las cuales puedo disfrutar una película, una de ellas es el apartado gráfico, que va de la mano con el diseño. La película puede tener un argumento muy malo, con malas actuaciones, voces, etc, pero si el aspecto grafico está bien trabajado, entonces disfruto de la película. En el caso de Elemental me ha gustado todo, una película familiar, con bonitos mensajes, entretenida y con un aspecto grafico que he amado desde el inicio hasta el final. Por cierto, la película me recordó a un jueguito web llamado Fireboy and Watergirl jaja.

I don't intend to make any direct spoilers, but I will mention some details that I liked and didn't like. I recommend that, if you haven't seen it, it's best to watch it before reading so you have zero expectations conditioned by the experience of others. Saying that, I should comment that I only saw the trailer and heard some things about it not being a box office success because of controversial things that I will omit. I was able to see this movie without knowing anything, without seeing anything more than the trailer so I wasn't conditioned by anything other than sitting down to enjoy a movie with a graphic quality that captured my attention from the trailer.

No pretendo hacer algún spoiler directo, pero si voy hacer mención de algunos detalles que me han gustado y que no me ha gustado. Recomiendo que, si no las has visto, lo mejor es que la veas antes de leer y así tengas cero expectativas condicionadas por la experiencia de otros. Dicho eso, debo comentar que yo solo vi el tráiler y escuché algunas cosas de que no había sido un éxito en taquillas por cosas polémicas que voy a omitir. Pude ver esta película sin saber nada, sin ver más que el tráiler así que no estaba condicionado por nada más que el sentarme a disfrutar de una película con una calidad grafica que capto mi atención desde el tráiler.

Si aun no conoces nada sobre esta película, Elemental te lleva de la mano a conocer la vida de una joven de fuego, Ember, una joven que ha crecido en una familia rechazada por la sociedad en todo sentido, pero a medida que esta joven comienza a interactuar con otros elementos, especialmente un Joven de agua, se va descubriendo como poco a poco esos prejuicios y su naturaleza como elemento que han estado muy marcado en la familia, pueden ser sustituidos por mejores sentimientos. Hay mucho más en esta hermosa aventura, pero es mejor que lo descubras por ti mismo.

From the moment the movie starts until the end, the textures of the elements, the design and the way they move, I loved it. I think they did an excellent job in capturing the essence of each element, what they represent even at the level of personalities. I had the opportunity to see the movie at the highest resolution available, the one allowed by Disney + and it has been a real beauty in the quality of colors, shadows, dynamic range in the different scenes, especially when the fire element was present and how it refracted on water. They really took care of many details so that there was visual harmony.

Desde el momento que inicia la película y hasta el final, las texturas de los elementos, el diseño y la forma en que se mueven, me ha encantado. Considero que se hizo un excelente trabajo en captar la esencia de cada elemento, lo que representan incluso a nivel de personalidades. Tuve la oportunidad de ver la película a máxima resolución disponible, la permitida por Disney + y ha sido toda una belleza en la calidad de colores, las sombras, el rango dinámico en las diferentes escenas, sobre todo cuando estaba presente el elemento fuego y como se refractaba sobre agua. De verdad que cuidaron muchos detalles para que existiera la armonía visual.

Quizás por ser esta la primera película y eso sin saber si harán otras, no se enfocaron tanto en la combinación de elementos o las reacciones elementales y sí que está presente y es esencial en cierta parte de esta película, pero pasa que al yo pensar en elementos (culpa de los videojuegos), pienso en muchas combinaciones, pero de momento eso ha quedado de "lado". Aunque sí que está presente como las propiedades físicas y químicas de cada elemento interactúan con otras cosas.

The whole movie is going to be focused on the main characters, which didn't leave much space to allow other elements, mainly from the earth and air elements, to be more present. Not that it's bad, but I would have loved to see a more elevated interaction between elements, from the point of view of the characters. If you haven't seen it, it's something you might understand when you see it, but I feel that there were more characters missing throughout the movie, but I don't have a problem with that, I enjoyed seeing the evolution of Ember and Wade. Maybe it's because I had in mind something like Zootopia, so many animals present and I was expecting something like that with the elements.

Toda la película va a estar enfocada en los protagonistas, cosa que no dejó mucho espacio para que permitieran a otros elementos, principalmente del elemento tierra y aire, estar más presentes. No es que este mal, pero me fuese encantado ver una interacción entre elementos más elevada, desde el punto de vista de personajes. Si no la has visto, es algo quizás entiendas cuando la veas, pero en si siento que faltaron más personajes que estuvieran presente a lo largo de la película, pero no tengo problemas con eso, disfrute ver la evolución de Ember y Wade. Quizás es porque tenían en mente algo estilo Zootopia, tantos animales presentes y esperaba algo así con los elementos.

La película puede hacer llorar a cualquier y es que toca ciertos temas que, si en tu vida han sucedido, entonces te sientes identificado con alguno de los personajes o con las situaciones que suceden, que tocan esas fibras sensibles y es inevitable no volverse emotivo. Migración, intercambio cultural, amor, aceptación, xenofobia, despedidas y algunas cosas más, están presentes y son situaciones que de alguna u otra manera han estado presente en la vida de cada persona. La diferencia está en como adaptaron esas situaciones a cada elemento.
