Eve K-drama Review
Recently Netflix released a trailer for a Korean series (from 2022) that I found quite interesting because it showed that the story was guided by revenge and drama. I had a good experience with the same genres before and I wanted to give it a chance.
Here we have 'Eve' is the name of this K-drama and as I said before it will focus on revenge, since a family suffers a great tragedy and it is Lee Ra-el who returns to settle the score.
Hace poco Netflix presentó un trailer de una serie coreana (del 2022) que me pareció bastante interesante porque mostraba que la historia estaba guiada por la venganza y el drama, anteriormente tuve una buena experiencia con los mismos géneros y quise darle una oportunidad.
Aquí tenemos a 'Eve' es el nombre que lleva este K-drama y como dije anteriormente se centrará en lo que es la venganza, puesto que una familia sufre una gran tragedia y es Lee Ra-el quien vuelve para ajustar las cuentas.

Lee Ra-el is a woman with clear goals and a well-crafted plan. This woman was exiled abroad at first with a strong depression that almost cost her life but then a woman saves her and tells her that they must prepare for revenge, and that is how they put a plan in motion to finish off a family of rich people.
To go into more context, in addition to the information that is shown in the trailer. Lee La-el's family was a very hard-working family. Her father was a businessman and director of a company involved with technology. Her father's company was key to merging with another company of corrupt millionaires, unfortunately in order to obtain it they used illegal methods, seriously harming Lee Ra-el's father, even the man loses his life... With all this they manage to take the company away from him. The rest of the family like the mother, is supposedly missing after she was interned and the daughter (Lee Ra-el) was sent abroad because she was also being persecuted and they wanted her dead because she witnessed the whole situation.
Lee Ra-el es una mujer con las metas bien claras y con un plan bien elaborado. Esta mujer estuvo exiliada en el extranjero al principio con una fuerte depresión que casi le cuesta la vida pero después la salva una mujer y le dice que deben prepararse para la venganza, y así es como ponen un plan en marcha para acabar con una familia de gente rica.
Para entrar más en el contexto, además de que es una información que se muestra en el tráiler. La familia de Lee La-el fue una familia bastante trabajadora. Su padre era empresario y director de una compañía involucrada con la tecnología. La compañía de su padre era clave para fusionarse con otra compañía de unos millonarios corruptos, lamentablemente para llegar a obtenerla utilizaron métodos ilegales, llegando a dañar seriamente al padre de Lee Ra-el, incluso el hombre pierde la vida... Con todo esto logran quitarle la empresa. El resto de la familia como la madre, está supuestamente desaparecida después de que fue internada y la hija (Lee Ra-el) fue enviada al extranjero porque también estaba siendo perseguida y la querían muerta porque ella fue testigo de toda la situación.

Todo esto dejó traumas en ella, pero como ya mencioné anteriormente, logra salir adelante con la ayuda de una mujer. Años más tarde regresa a Corea para ejecutar su plan. Para este tiempo Lee Ra-el se convierte en una mujer hermosa, inteligente, encantadora, artística, visionaria y con un excelente don para persuadir, lo que hace que su plan se facilité un poco más.

She decides to tear apart the family that made her suffer so much, so in the first episode and in the first few minutes we see that she is behind a huge divorce scandal for 2 billion won.
Ella decide hacer trizas a la familia que tanto la hizo sufrir, por lo que en el primer episodio y en los primeros minutos apreciamos que ella está detrás de un gran escándalo de divorcio de una pareja por 2 billones de wones.

Although it seems like I'm saying it all, I'm not. It's all that happens in a few minutes of the first episode and what's shown in the trailer. The peculiarity of Korean series is that it seems that in the first episode they show you half of the development of the plot only to go back in time and show you all the juicy little details that you were missing, it places you at the starting point and then pushes you further so that in the end you're left with a feeling of happiness and dissatisfaction for not continuing to watch more or because things didn't end the way you wanted.
Now talking about this series. I really liked it and enjoyed it, it went beyond the conventional, here things weren't so innocent and this leads me to comment that it's not for children, it's a series for people over 16 years old. I feel like it has everything I like, although I would have liked it to be a bit cold without involving romance but it couldn't be, in the end there was romance, however the ending is not as we assume, which left me a little dissatisfied but at the same time I liked it because not everything can be like a fairy tale.
Aunque pareciera que lo digo todo, no es así, fácilmente es todo lo que sucede en algunos escasos minutos del primer capítulo y lo que se muestra en el tráiler. La particularidad de las series coreanas es que parece que en el primer episodio te muestran la mitad del desarrollo de la trama solo para regresarte en el tiempo y mostrarte todos los pequeños detalles jugosos que te estabas perdiendo, te localiza en el punto de partida y luego te impulsa más lejos para que al final te quedes con una sensación entre felicidad e inconformidad por no seguir viendo más o porque las cosas no terminaron como tú querías.
Ahora comentando de esta serie. Realmente me gustó y la disfruté, se salió de lo convencional, aquí las cosas no fueron tan inocentes y esto mismo me lleva a comentar que no es para niños, es una serie para mayores de 16 años. Siento que tiene todo lo que me gusta, aunque me hubiese gustado que fuera algo frío sin involucrar romance pero no se pudo, al final hubo romance, sin embargo el final no es como suponemos, lo que me dejó un poco inconforme pero al mismo tiempo me gustó porque no todo puede ser como un cuento de hadas.

The ending was intense. It was one of my favorite K-drama and I really hope they make a sequel out of this.
I agree with you, in fact, these are the types of K-dramas that I enjoy the most, generally where they involve other topics leaving romance aside a bit.
