The Life List | NETFLIX | Movie Review
I want to recommend this movie, which I watched today. Honestly, I wasn't planning on watching it, haha, but I often end up giving in to Netflix recommendations. This movie almost ended up in my mouth.
The Life List, honestly, sounded like the worst cliché I'd ever wanted to watch, but I ended up being a little surprised, but that's just a personal thing.
Here we'll find drama, romance, and a bit of comedy, typical of an American film. Another fact is that it's an adaptation of a novel.
Quiero recomendarles esta película que me vi el día de hoy, honestamente no pensaba verla, jajaja, pero muchas veces termino cediendo ante las recomendaciones de Netflix, esta película casi me sale hasta en la sopa.
The Life List, honestamente sonaba al peor cliché que quisiera ver pero terminé un poco sorprendida pero esto ya es un aspecto personal.
Aquí vamos a encontrar drama, romance y un poco de comedia, lo típico de una película americana. Otro dato, es que se trata de una adaptación a una novela.

Let's start by talking a little about what it's about. We find the main character, Alexandra, completely devastated because her whole life changes suddenly after the death of her beloved mother. Just when she thought she was living a "settled" life, she has to start from scratch.
Her mother's death caused a major meltdown, and she also discovers that her beloved mother hasn't left her any of her inheritance. However, this isn't true, as she leaves her some CDs in which she is told that to truly receive her inheritance, she must complete a list that Alex herself made when she was younger.
Empezamos hablando un poco de lo que trata. Encontraremos al personaje principal, Alexandra, totalmente destrozada porque de un momento a otro toda su vida cambia tras el fallecimiento de su adorada madre. Cuando ella pensaba que estaba llevando una vida “resuelta”, le toca empezar desde prácticamente cero.
El fallecimiento de su madre causó un derrumbe bastante grande, además descubre que su adorada madre no le ha dejado nada de su herencia, sin embargo, esto no es verdad, pues le deja unos CD’s en donde le indica que para realmente recibir su herencia debe completar una lista que la misma Alex hizo de más joven.

I liked the way the film was developed because although the main message is quite clear—achieving this personal growth—it also shows us how grief becomes a little more bearable for this actress, unlike the rest of her siblings. It's okay to remember what you've experienced, it's okay to be comfortable for a while, but let's not forget that life is always changing. There's also a strong message of love here. I even cried, and this was perfect for me because two days ago I was trying to cry and couldn't; I had an emotional block. This film let me get my deepest feelings out. Personally, I recommend it for the message it tries to convey.
Me gustó la forma en que se desarrolló la película porque a pesar de que el mensaje principal es bastante claro, obtener este crecimiento personal, también nos muestran como el duelo se hace un poco más llevadero para esta actriz, a diferencia del resto de sus hermanos. Está bien recordar lo vivido, está bien estar cómodos por un rato pero no olvidemos que la vida siempre está en constante cambio. Aquí también hay un mensaje de amor bastante grande, incluso lloré y esto me vino perfecto porque hace dos días estaba intentando llorar y no podía, tenía un bloqueo emocional, con esta película saqué mis sentimientos profundos. En lo personal la recomiendo por el mensaje que trata de transmitir.
También me ha salido mucho en las recomendaciones de Netflix, pero aún no la he visto, mi mamá me la contó completa pero creo que me tomaré el tiempo para verla, gracias por tu reseña amiga 🤗
Tiene un buen mensaje a pesar de todo, está bastante aceptable para verla.
I watched this movie a week or so ago and was honestly surprised how much I really liked it. I was feeling like a light comedy, but this was actually really touching and the relationship with her Dad was something that isn't really explored in movies so much.
The only, only problem I had, and it's very silly, is that sometimes her and the guy she dated looked like super models while everyone else around them looked normal... it kind of took me out of the story a little bit.
Actually for me, there's something I don't like, the love story part, I believe without that I could be great anyways. I mean, it doesn't have to be forced, and finding the love of your life isn't an easy task. I think some people don't even manage to find it throughout their lives, taking into account the different circumstances that life presents to us, of course.
It definitely feels silly that so many movies have a love story component... I loved in the movie Bumblebee, the guy tries to make a move at the end and the girl was like 'no' and I thought that was the best... it was an action movie, it didn't need a romantic part.
Tampoco tenía muchas ganas de ver pero me gustó bastante, se puede decir que me trasnoché viéndola, no quería dormir hasta que terminara. Muy entretenida.
Sí, al final terminó sorprendiéndonos. Perfecto, eso es mejor que estar decepcionadas, jajaja.
