[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Jarhead 3: The Siege
Welcome my dear internet marine travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, there is a saga of military films that I started a while ago and a few days ago I decided to continue the saga so I decided to watch "Jarhead 3 : The Siege" to delve into war conflicts again. Without further ado, prepare to defend the command center because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros marines del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, existe una saga de películas militares que empecé hace un tiempo y hace unos días decidí dar continuidad a hasta saga por lo me dispuse a ver "Jarhead 3: The Siege" para adentrarme nuevamente en conflictos bélicos. Sin más que agregar prepárense para defender el centro de mando pues estamos por comenzar.
Jarhead 3: The Siege was released in 2016, directed by William Kaufman and produced by Universal 1440 Entertainment, it has a duration of 1 hour and 34 minutes. It is an action and drama film, the story focuses on Corporal Evan Albright who joined the marines to make a difference, this being the reason why he is transferred to a place of greater tension and where he can have some action, however, this type of confrontation entails a high number of deaths and considerable misfortunes, the soldier will realize the high price to pay for becoming a hero sooner rather than later.
Jarhead 3: The Siege fue estrenada en 2016, dirigida por William Kaufman y producida por Universal 1440 Entertainment, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 34 minutos. Es un filme de acción y drama, la historia se centra en el cabo Evan Albright el cual se unió a los marines para marcar la diferencia, siendo esta la razón de que sea transferido a un sitio de mayor tensión y en donde podrá tener algo de acción, sin embargo, ese tipo de enfrentamiento conllevan un número elevado de muertos y desgracias considerables, el soldado caerá en cuenta del alto precio a pagar por hacerse el héroe más temprano que tarde.

The soundtrack has a good presence, it's nothing too spectacular but it does a good job with the different moments of tension
La banda sonora tiene una buena presencia, no es nada demasiado espectacular pero hace un buen trabajo con los diferentes momentos de tensión
The construction of the world is quite limited, the greatest description of the context is that everything takes place in a country with a very fragile peace and a high possibility of an attack, and this section is limited to showing how that is destroyed from one moment to the next. , there is nothing more to highlight.
La construcción del mundo es bastante limitada, la mayor descripción del contexto es que todo se desarrolla en un país con una paz muy frágil y con alta posibilidad de atentado, siendo que este apartado se limita a mostrar cómo eso se destruye de un momento a otro, no hay más nada que destacar.
The plot is simple, it can easily be defined as an armed confrontation between insurgents and the military, there is really nothing else that can stand out from it, fortunately the moments of tension due to the armed conflict make the film not feel boring although That doesn't take away from its simplicity. Narratively there isn't much, everything there is is quite cliché for the genre and what is expected; deaths on both sides, classified information, bribes, spies and more, there is not much originality to say the least. Because the film does not propose anything really complex with respect to its premise, its length is a success. If it had been longer, it would only have been tedious, for the little content it has, less was more.
La trama es simple, la misma se puede definir fácilmente como un enfrentamiento armado entre insurgentes y militares, no existe realmente nada más que se pueda destacar del mismo, afortunadamente los momentos de tensión por el conflicto armado hacen que la cinta no se sienta aburrida aunque eso no le quita la simpleza. Narrativamente no hay mucho, todo lo que hay es bastante cliché para el género y lo esperable; muertes de ambos bandos, información clasificada, sobornos, espías y demás, no hay mucha originalidad que digamos. Debido a que el filme no se propone algo realmente complejo con respecto a su premisa su duración es un acierto, de haber sido más extensa, solo habría sido tedioso, para el poco contenido que tiene menos fue más.
Nothing to highlight, just a group of strangers without much relevance, this affects a little when various people die and the film tries to make you care about them, however, they are just worthless cannon fodder.
Nada que destacar, solo un grupo de desconocidos sin mucha relevancia, esto afecta un poco cuando van muriendo diversas personas y el filme intenta que te importen, sin embargo, solo son carne de cañón sin valor.
Jarhead 3: The Siege is dynamic in general terms, however, that dynamism implied that all the halfway decent content at a narrative level is absent, this means that its only attraction is the confrontation, the latter being the reason why it feels incomplete and excessively simple. It is for all of the above that it deserves 2 stars out of 7, it has good confrontations but absolutely lacks any interest in developing its narrative or its characters, the latter being what makes it too basic.
Jarhead 3: The Siege es dinámica a rasgos generales, no obstante, ese dinamismo implicó que todo aquel contenido medianamente decente a nivel narrativo se encuentre ausente, esto hace que su único atractivo sea el enfrentamiento, siendo esto último la razón por la que se siente incompleta y excesivamente sencilla. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 2 estrellas de 7, posee buenos enfrentamientos pero carece absolutamente de cualquier interés por desarrollar su narrativa o a sus personajes, siendo esto último lo que la hace demasiado básica.
