Netflix: "Underwater" Is it worth it?

Hello community I hope everyone is well, I like to see how the vast majority of people recommend very good movies which they find entertaining, of very good quality or something worth watching. Today I want to break this mold a little bit and NOT recommend this movie that I saw today and I think it's a little bit more of the pile.
Today I come to talk about Underwater, one of the reasons why I saw this movie was because of the actress Kristen Stewart, which is not that I really like how she plays her roles due to her lack of gestures and little characterization in them, however, I had a little faith with this movie because I said "why not give it a chance and see what happens" Usually movies that have to do with the vastness of the ocean I like a lot but this one left me without suspense and bored.
The film begins with our protagonist and other surviving members of the accident, trying to survive, moving to the command rooms where we will see how one by one they die in their attempt to stay alive. After our protagonist is almost alone, two survivors appear to join her and finish the last 20 minutes of the movie, this is where we see a little excitement and suspense, as throughout the movie we see quite predictable scenes and situations. One of the techniques they have to create nostalgia, emotion and at the same time sympathy for a character is just before killing him to redirect our attention to that event and somehow capture our attention and sympathy.
To say that I did not like the movie was not enough, really for a movie set at the bottom of the sea where the water pressure does not kill you and where there are sea monsters quite poor made me not only sleepy, also lazy to continue watching it, even so as I said above the last 20 minutes of the movie was the most interesting thing I saw, in an attempt to save her friends sacrificing herself, she "kills" the monsters near the ruined base, successfully escaping her friends. If it hadn't been for the credits in the last minutes of the movie I wouldn't have found out a lot of things that are usually suggested to you in the development of the movie.
My recommendation is not to watch it, there are many things on Netflix platform that are worth it and this movie unfortunately is not worth it, I would give it a 4/10 as it helps to sleep on a rainy afternoon and drinking a hot chocolate. In summary to be a suspense movie there is very little (quite a few predictable parts), to be a science fiction movie the sea monster could have made much more out of it than they did, maybe adding a different start to the movie, a little more context to the events and a CONVINCENT REASON for the reason for his visit, maybe it would have made a little more sense, if on the other hand you are one of those people who liked this movie I invite you to participate in the comment box What was your favorite part? Hola comunidad espero todos estén bien, me gusta ver como la gran mayoría de las personas recomienda muy buenas películas las cuales les parece entretenidas, de muy buena calidad o algo que vale la pena ver. Yo hoy quiero romper un poco este molde y NO recomendar esta pelicula que vi hoy y me parece un poco más del montón.
Hoy les vengo hablar de Underwater, una de las razones por la cual vi esta pelicula fue por la actriz Kristen Stewart, la cual no es que me agradé mucho como interpreta sus papeles debido a su falta de gestos y poca caracterización en ellos, sin embargo, le tenía un poco de fe con esta pelicula ya que dije “por qué no darle la oportunidad y ver qué pasa” Por lo general las películas que tienen que ver con la inmensidad del océano me gustan mucho pero esta me dejo sin suspenso y aburrido.
La pelicula empieza con nuestra protagonista y otros miembros sobrevivientes del accidente, tratando de sobrevivir, moviéndose a las salas de mando donde veremos como uno a uno mueren en su intento de seguir con vida. Luego de que nuestra protagonista queda casi sola aparecen dos sobrevivientes a unirse a ella y terminar asi los últimos 20 minutos de pelicula, aquí es donde se ve un poco de emoción y suspenso, ya que a lo largo de la pelicula vemos escenas y situaciones bastante predecibles. Una de las técnicas que tienen para crear nostalgia, emoción y al mismo tiempo simpatía por un personaje es justo antes de matarlo para redirigir nuestra atención a ese suceso y de alguna manera captar nuestra atención y simpatía.
Decir que la pelicula no me gusto fue poco, realmente para ser una pelicula ambientada en el fondo del mar donde la presión del agua no te mata y donde hay monstruos marinos bastante deficientes hizo que no solo me diera sueño, tambien pereza al seguirla viendo, aun asi como dije anteriormente los últimos 20 minutos de la pelicula fue lo más interesante que vi, en un intento por salvar a sus amigos sacrificándose ella, “mata” a los monstruos cerca de la base en ruinas, escapando con éxito sus amigos. Sino hubiera sido por los créditos de los últimos minutos de la pelicula no me hubiera enterado muchas cosas que te suelen sugerir en el desarrollo de esta.
Mi recomendación es que no la vean, hay muchas cosas en la plataforma de Netflix que si valen la pena y esta película lamentablemente no lo vale, le daría un 4/10 ya que ayuda a dormir en una tarde lloviendo y tomando un chocolate caliente. En resumen para ser una película de suspenso hay muy poco (bastantes partes predecibles), para ser de ciencia ficción el monstruo marino pudieron haberle sacado mucho más provecho de lo que hicieron, quizás añadiéndole un inicio diferente a la película, un poco más de contexto a los acontecimientos y una RAZON CONVINCENTE del motivo de su visita, quizás hubiera tenido un poco más de sentido, si por el contrario eres una de esas personas que le gusto esta película te invito a participar en la caja de comentarios ¿Cuál fue tu parte favorita? ¿Cuál fue la parte que más te emociono?
