Mi parte favorita de The Black Bag es la escena de la cena por toda la parte escenográfica y la tensión que se genera, hasta la banda sonora está acorde con el ambiente de la película, lo que me confundió a veces fueron los cambios en la trama con un tiempo tan corto lo bueno es que en la parte final todo se aclara, después de una semana de investigación George descubre la identidad del topo pero antes su relación con Kathryn se pone a prueba hasta el límite, la película altera las expectativas sobre quién podría ser el traidor revelando que la persona que menos uno sospecha ha estado jugando un juego largo todo el tiempo, el final me gustó porque se relaciona con el tema central de la película sobre la confianza en las relaciones, el matrimonio de George y Kathryn sobrevive porque a pesar de todos los secretos y mentiras que requiere su profesión al final confían el uno en el otro. La última escena refleja la cena de antes en la película cerrando el círculo de la historia pero con un nuevo entendimiento entre los personajes, esto demuestra que a veces las relaciones más fuertes son aquellas en las que ambas partes aceptan que nunca pueden saber todo el uno del otro, el título de la película es una metáfora de los secretos necesarios que permiten que funcione una relación entre dos espías.

A mí me parece que Black Bag es una versión diferente del género de espionaje que prioriza el carácter y el diálogo sobre la acción, funciona tanto como un thriller tenso como una reflexión sobre el matrimonio, la confianza y los secretos que ocultamos a nuestros seres más cercanos, no hay ni un momento perdido ya que cada escena hace avanzar la trama o revela algo nuevo sobre los personajes y las actuaciones son muy buenas, mi única crítica es que a veces la trama parece demasiado comprimida con tantas complicaciones que puede ser difícil seguir la pista de todo pero con todo y eso yo le doy un 8.2/10.

My favorite part of The Black Bag is the dinner scene because of all the staging and the tension that is generated, even the soundtrack is in line with the atmosphere of the movie, what confused me at times were the changes in the plot with such a short time. The good thing is that in the final part everything is clarified, after a week of investigation George discovers the identity of the mole but before that his relationship with Kathryn is tested to the limit, the film upsets expectations about who the traitor might be by revealing that the person you least suspect has been playing a long game all along, I liked the ending because it relates to the central theme of the film about trust in relationships, George and Kathryn's marriage survives because despite all the secrets and lies that their profession requires, in the end they trust each other. The final scene reflects the dinner from earlier in the film, closing the circle of the story but with a new understanding between the characters. This shows that sometimes the strongest relationships are those in which both parties accept that they can never know everything about each other.
