Stoic calm in a nightmare

Uwe Boll is known to a wider audience as a maker of rather specific films often based on games, creating veritable abominations to make the viewer appreciate other films, but Uwe in his rather niche career has also created a film that is interesting in its own way.

Stoic is a minimalist if claustrophobic film with rather chaotic camera work, which gives the production even more realism.

The film focuses on a prison room where four inmates are playing cards, but the incendiary factor suddenly kicks in and one of the inmates is tortured for 10 hours.

The film is divided into two parts in one each inmate tells his version of events and how it happened, the other we see the center of the action.

As viewers, we are suffocated by the atmosphere that prevails in this cramped cell. Every atrocity that the degenerates prepare against their victim even is unimaginably nasty.

Stoic emphatically observes the characters as if in a documentary shows their emotions as well as their madness.

The film features Edward Furlong known from Terminator 2 , who plays one of the psychopaths, and he fucking played so well that I had a terrible feeling seeing him on the screen, even every scene with him caused disgust.

The film is strong, even bordering on horror, but you won't see any creatures or people in masks, just three prisoners bullying a fourth.

The film tries to show the characters is how they saw this massacre and how they felt it as each of them felt doing different things.
The film is based on events that took place in 2006 ( unfortunately, I don't have more accurate information)

Uwe showed that the worst monsters are not those on the screen or ghosts, but living people who cook hell for another person for a trivial reason.

I recommend the film because it is brilliantly made, and the camera work even makes us feel the fear.
The production is not for everyone, if you like drama, but one that is quite strong this will be the film for you, there are two strong scenes here that can strongly reject, but the film is based on events that took place so it is all the more shocking that people do such things.

The only one worth watching, although I must warn you that it is worth to dose yourself with this film, because the claustrophobic and stuffy nature of the film can make you feel disgusted with people.

Stoicki spokój w koszmarze

Uwe Boll jest znany szerszej publiczności jako twórca dość specyficznych filmów często na podstawie gier, tworząc z nich istne abominację by widz docenił inne filmy, jednak Uwe w swej dosc niszowej karierze stworzył tez film, który jest na swój sposób interesujący.

Stoic to minimalistyczny wrecz klaustrofobiczny film z dość chaotyczna praca kamery, która nadaje produkcji jeszcze większego realizmu.

Film skupia się pokoju więziennym gdzie czterech osadzonych gra w karty, jednak czynnik zapalający nagle się pojawia i przez 10 godzin jeden z więźniów jest torturowany.

Film dzieli się na dwie części w jednej każdy z osadzonych opowiada swoją wersje wydarzeń i jak doszło do tego, druga to widzimy centrum akcji.

Jako widzowie dusimy się atmosfera jaka panuje w tej ciasnej celi. Każde okrucieństwo jakie przygotowują zwyrodnialcy wobec swojej ofiary wręcz jest niewyobrażalnie paskudna.

Stoic dobitnie obserwuje bohaterów niczym w dokumencie ukazuje ich emocje jak i szalenstwo.

W filmie pojawia się Edward Furlong znany z Terminatora 2 , który gra jednego z psychopatów i kurde tak dobrze zagrał, ze miałem straszne odczucia widząc go na ekranie, wręcz każda scena z nim powodowała obrzydzenie.

Film jest mocny, wręcz na granicy horroru, ale nie uświadczymy w nim żadnych stworów czy ludzi w maskach, a jedynie trzech więźniów znęcających się nad czwartym.

Film stara się ukazać bohaterów to jak widzieli ta masakrę i to jak oni to odczuwali jak każdy z nich czuł robiąc różne rzeczy.
Film jest oparty o wydarzenia które miały miejsce w 2006 roku ( niestety nie mam informacji dokładniejszych)

Uwe pokazał, ze najgorszymi potworami nie są te na ekranie czy duchy, a żywi ludzie którzy gotują piekło drugiemu człowiekowi z błachego powodu.

Polecam film bo jest swietnie wykonany, a praca kamery wręcz powoduje, ze odczuwamy strach.
Produkcja nie dla każdego, jeśli lubicie dramat, ale taki, który jest dość mocny to będzie film dla was, są tutaj dwie mocne sceny, które mogą mocno odrzucić, jednak film jest oparty o wydarzenia które miały miejsce wiec tym bardziej szokuje to, ze ludzie dokonują takich rzeczy.

Jedyny wart obejrzenia, choć uprzedzić muszę, ze warto dawkować sobie ten film, gdyż klaustrofobicznosc oraz duszność filmu spowodować może, ze poczujemy wstręt do ludzi.
