A good horror movie is one that scares you unexpectedly, when you don't expect it, the tension rising slowly to eventually explode.

The Night House is an interesting cinema that slowly builds up the pace familiarizes the viewer with the surrounding world to eventually give the crime mystery on a platter as well.
There have already been many films in a similar vein, but here the film tries to give something from itself and go its own way by abandoning familiar motifs from other such films.

The main character is a teacher and has to cope after the sudden suicide of her husband, it's not easy because she can't understand why exactly he committed the act.
However, strange things start happening at night, and each day brings her closer to a new mystery and the dark side of her ex-husband's life.

The film interestingly combines a criminal plot with a paranormal one, which ultimately draws the viewer into a devagation of the psychological state after the trauma.
The crime here only plays the whipped cream on a rather substantial cake, while the depression is the icing on that cake.

The heroine will not only face a mysterious ghost, but still with herself and whether she definitely knew her husband.
As for the production side, here we won't experience ghosts like in scary movies, and it's more subtle on the principle of shadows or building through music.
The words there is nothing but emptiness often recur in the film, and although theoretically they have an explanation at the end, they can also be interpreted as deepening depression and deteriorating health, which day by day reduces the field of vision creating emptiness around.
The film itself is interesting, although, unfortunately, the finale is a little different from the main thrust of the director's intention and shows an obvious lack of idea.
Depression and the death of a loved one are never a good combination you know and so it is also here, so we can expect a very chaotic relationship of the heroine to other friends.

To sum up it is a good film choc the ending may not be to everyone's taste.
It holds in suspense and until the end we do not know how the die will end and whether the heroine thinks rationally.

Tam nie ma nic prócz pustki

Dobry horror to taki, który straszy nieoczekiwanie, wtedy kiedy nie spodziewamy się tego, napięcie rośnie powoli by ostatecznie eksplodować.

Dom Nocny to interesujące kino, które powoli buduje tempo zaznajamia widza z otaczającym światem by ostatecznie podać na tacy również zagadkę kryminalna.
Wiele już było filmów w podobnym tonie, jednak tutaj film stara się coś dać od siebie i iść swoją droga porzucając znane motywy z innych tego typu filmów.

Główna bohaterka jest nauczycielka i musi sobie poradzić po nagłym samobójstwem męża, nie jest to łatwe bo nie może zrozumieć dlaczego właśnie on popełnił ten czyn.
W nocy jednak zaczynaja się dziać dziwne rzeczy, a każdy kolejny dzień przybliża ja do nowej zagadki i ciemnej strony życia jej byłego męża.

Film ciekawie łączy wątek kryminalny z paranormalnym, ktory ostatecznie ciągnie widza do dewagacji nad stanem psychicznym po traumie.
Kryminał tutaj odgrywa jedynie bita śmietanę na dość pokaźnym torcie, zaś depresja to wisienka na owym torcie.

Bohaterka nie tylko zmierzy się z tajemniczym duchem, a jeszcze z sobą i tym czy na pewno znała swojego męża.
Jeśli chodzi o stronę realizatorską to tutaj nie uświadczymy duchów takich jak w strasznych filmach, a jest to bardziej subtelne na zasadzie cieni czy budowaniu przez muzykę.
Słowa tam nic nie ma prócz pustki często przewijają się w filmie i mimo, ze teoretycznie maja wyjaśnienie na końcu to również można interpretować jako pogłębiająca depresje i coraz gorszy stan zdrowia, które z dnia na dzień zmniejsza pole widzenia tworząc pustkę wokół.
Sam film jest ciekawy choć niestety finał troszkę odbiega od głównego nurtu zamierzenia reżysera i widać ewidentny brak pomysłu.
Depresja i smierć bliskiej osoby to nigdy nie są dobre połącz wiadomo i tak jest i tutaj, wiec możemy się spodziewać bardzo chaotycznej relacji bohaterki wobec innych znajomych.

Reasumując to dobry film choc końcówka nie każdemu może podejść.
Trzyma w napięciu i do końca nie wiemy jak die skończy i czy bohaterka myśli racjonalnie.
