Streaming here means watching online on a streaming platform like Netflix or other cinema platforms on phones, tablets, or PCs.

Download to watch here means downloading the movie from a particular platform free of charge (no charges except your data consumption) and watching later.

Which of the two categories do you normally go for?

I've been a chronic fan of Download to Watch. I've never watched a movie online, it sounds awkward, right? The only movies I stream online are live events or shows that I don't want to miss. A typical example is football. Of course, is there any essence to downloading a played match to watch later? No!
Ever since I joined the world of blogging, I've met a lot of foreigners that don't know anything about downloading to watch; all they know is to watch online, and it makes me wonder... is it that this downloading to watch is a form of piracy? It's a YES?🤧

Not just foreigners, but a lot of my country's people (Nigeria) now stream, and it makes me wonder too...don't networks interrupt them? Lol🤣

Why I prefer downloading to watching

• Watch at my convenience.

This is one of the major reasons I love downloading my movies first before watching them. I'm always battling with time and have less space for movies. I watch movies at my leisure, and only when this leisure is leisured into a good fitting, You understand?
Downloading it, keeping it, and watching it bit by bit is all my system needs. Sometimes I would use 1 month to watch a series, and I don't see myself going on the track of switching on the internet to login to watch a movie.

• It saves money.

I know a lot of people would frown at this, especially the movie producers here, but that's just the truth. Downloading to watch saves a lot of money.

Just as we all know, most streaming platforms require a subscription to have access to the movies. That is to say, you'll pay for a subscription and use your data subscription to watch.
Downloading to watch is just part of the normal data subscription.

Although it's hard to have access to some movies, especially when they're newly released, but in my part of the world, we have a way of getting that, even when the movie is not yet released. Lol🤣

• No internet frustration.

Once I get it downloaded, I don't need to battle with a bad internet connection again to watch.
Although this is not a problem for countries with good internet connections, but to a lot of us, it's a big problem.

Imagine staying in a place where the network is always crawling like a snail (1G network); it'll be a big battle to stream a movie.
