¡Hola Hola Comunidad! ✨, hace una semana les comenté que fuí al cine con unas amigas a ver la película de la que últimamente muchos hablan, la realidad es que mi ganas de ver ésta película surgieron desde el primer momento en que ví el tráiler, porque inmediatamente supe qué tema tocaría éste proyecto, sé que está basado en un libro y aunque lo tengo descargado desde ese momento, no he sido capaz de leerlo porque algo me dice que su contenido es más fuerte que el mostrado en la película, y porque quería ir a verla sin saber mayores detalles y poder juzgarla y darles mi opinión exclusivamente de lo visto en pantalla, es por esa razón que el día de hoy hablaré sobre Romper el Círculo 💐💜.
Hello Hello Community! ✨, a week ago I told you that I went to the cinema with some friends to see the film that many people are talking about lately, the reality is that my desire to see this film arose from the first moment I saw the trailer, because I immediately knew what theme this project would touch, I know that it is based on a book and although I have downloaded it since that moment, I have not been able to read it because something tells me that its content is stronger than what is shown in the film, and because I wanted to go to see it without knowing more details and be able to judge it and give you my opinion exclusively from what I saw on screen, that's why today I will talk about It Ends With Us 💐💜.
💐 SINOPSIS || SYNOPSIS 💜
Basada en la novela homónima de Colleen Hoover, la historia se centra en Lily Bloom, una joven mujer que se encuentra en la ciudad de Boston con la firme intención de superar su pasado familiar traumático y abrir su tan anhelada floristería, sin embargo un día por azares de la vida conoce Ryle Kincaid, un coqueto y encantador neurocirujano, con quien inmediatamente tiene una intensa conexión, y aunque al inicio solo se trataba de un encuentro fortuito, luego se volverían a encontrar y es donde empezaría su gran historia de amor, o al menos eso era lo que Lily creería, porque cuando el pasado reaparece y vuelve a encontrarse con Atlas Corrigan, su amor adolescente, muchas cosas en su vida cambian, o toman la verdadera cara, y Lily se ve atrapada en un torrente de acontecimientos que la llevan a tomar una difícil y crucial decisión: romper el círculo o dejar que este acabe con ella 💜.

💐 LOS PERSONAJES || THE CHARACTERS 💜
Más que hablar de los personajes en sí, de lo que me gustaría hablar es del trabajo actoral, porque debo decir que cada uno hizo un trabajo excepcional en la representación de sus personajes, desde las versiones adultas hasta las versiones adolescentes, que aunado a ésto debo confesar que el casting fue un 10/10, porque la actriz que interpreta Lily adolescente es absurdamente parecida a Blake Lively, al punto de que había momentos en la película que me perdía y no sabía si estábamos en el pasado o en presente porque el parecido es increíble, y ya eso nos habla del nivel de producción que tuvieron.
More than talking about the characters themselves, what I would like to talk about is the acting work, because I must say that each one did an exceptional job in the representation of their characters, from the adult versions to the teenage versions, which together with this I must confess that the casting was a 10/10, because the actress who plays Lily as a teenager is absurdly similar to Blake Lively, to the point that there were moments in the film that I got lost and did not know if we were in the past or present because the resemblance is incredible, and that tells us about the level of production they had.
Pero centrándonos ahora sí en lo que aquí quiero destacar, tomando en cuenta el calibre de la historia que se nos narra, es imprescindible que el trabajo actoral cumpla con las expectativas que se tiene, Blake en el papel de Lily hace un trabajo increíble, representa de una forma bien detallada toda la carga emocional por la que atraviesa su personaje, desde la alegría, la inocencia, la negación, el entendimiento, frustración, tristeza y finalmente aceptación, y se apropia de la historia que finalmente se centra en ella, y ésto es algo que definitivamente debo destacar.
But focusing now on what I want to highlight here, taking into account the caliber of the story that we are told, it is essential that the acting work meets the expectations that we have, Blake in the role of Lily does an incredible job, she represents in a well detailed way all the emotional charge that her character goes through, from joy, innocence, denial, understanding, frustration, sadness and finally acceptance, and she takes ownership of the story that finally focuses on her, and this is something that I definitely have to highlight.
Igualmente ocurre con Brandon Sklenar en el papel de Atlas, un personaje que de hecho es crucial en la vida de Lily, y que Brandon representa a la perfección desde el primer momento en que aparece, sin duda alguna esa primera escena de ellos dos es de mis favoritas tanto por la actuación de Blake y Brandon y toda la representación emocional que logran transmitir, hasta la puesta en escena general, sientes como ese es el punto de quiebre de todo lo que venía narrando hasta ese momento, a partir de allí la película toma un tono y ritmo distinto y ese es un elemento narrativo que me gusta cuando lo usan y más cuando lo usan bien.
The same happens with Brandon Sklenar in the role of Atlas, a character that in fact is crucial in Lily's life, and that Brandon represents to perfection from the first moment he appears, without a doubt that first scene of the two of them is one of my favourites both for the performance of Blake and Brandon and all the emotional representation that they manage to transmit, You feel like that is the breaking point of everything that had been narrated until that moment, from there the film takes a different tone and rhythm and that is a narrative element that I like when they use it and even more when they use it well.
Ahora bien, para mí quién se lleva un galardón de mi parte es Justin Baldoni en el papel de Ryle, porque representar un personaje con características de personalidad narcisista es un trabajo que no todos logran, tienes la tarea de ser lo suficientemente encantador para hacer que el público te crea todo y además se enamore de tí al punto de dificultar que, cuando tu verdadera cara aparezca, la puedan hacer consciente y rechazar, y Justin lo logró a tal punto que he leído comentarios de espectadoras que de cierta forma justifican al personaje y expresan que lo perdonarían, y eso habla del increíble trabajo hecho por el actor, y de la preocupante situación de las mujeres que han ido a ver ésta película 🤦🏻♀️.

💐 EL TEMA DE LA TRAMA || THE SUBJECT OF THE PLOT 💜
Si hasta éste momento no sabes cuál es el tema en el que gira ésta historia, y no quieres saberlo por diversas razones, entonces te aconsejo no seguir leyendo 🤣, aunque la verdad es que cualquiera que haya visto el tráiler lo sabrá o de alguna forma creo que para éste punto ya no es “secreto”, aún así dejo la advertencia 🤣. Romper el Círculo nos muestra cómo se desarrolla un ciclo de violencia doméstica, incluso cómo éste puede ser generacional y la forma en que afecta a todos los involucrados, la verdad es que yo personalmente no he visto otras historias que hablen sobre éste tema, aunque sé que deben existir otras que incluso plasmen éste tema de una mejor forma, más cruda y más real.

He visto muchas críticas hacía la forma en que está contada la historia, y debo decir que a mí realmente me parece que la narrativa que utilizaron es excelente, porque nos cuentan los hechos totalmente desde la perspectiva de Lily, y ustedes dirán “bueno, eso es obvio, la película trata sobre ella”, y eso es completamente cierto cuando hablamos de una película cualquiera, pero tomando en cuenta el tema de violencia doméstica, ese es un elemento de mucha relevancia, porque solo visto desde la perspectiva de Lily es que podemos vivir los acontecimientos como ella los vive, desde “los accidentes”, “malentendidos”, “justificaciones” hasta la “culpa” y finalmente el punto de quiebre en el que reaccionamos y todo aparece como realmente ocurrió.

Está tan bien elaborada esa narrativa, que hay una escena en particular en la que yo misma pensé que se trataba de un “accidente”, sin embargo si sentí que faltó algo, que se quedaron un poco cortos en mostrar cómo realmente se vive la violencia doméstica, quizás yo necesitaba más crudeza o no sé, pero en muchos momentos llegué a sentirme que estaba viendo una comedia romántica, cuando no era la realidad y cuando yo misma sabía que no era esa clase de película, la verdad no sé si se trata de haber romantizado la historia, si fue que faltaron escenas de mayor impacto o si fue que su momento de entender lo que estaba viviendo y salir de allí ocurrió muy rápido, cuando en la realidad no suele ser de esa forma, pero lo que sí es cierto es que acabé la película con esa sensación, y por lo que he visto en cuanto a las críticas, no fuí la única.
The narrative is so well elaborated that there is a particular scene in which I thought it was an "accident", however I felt that something was missing, that they fell a little short in showing how domestic violence is really lived, maybe I needed more rawness or I don't know, but in many moments I felt that I was watching a romantic comedy, when it was not the reality and when I knew that it was not that kind of film, I really don't know if it's because the story was romanticized, if it was that there were more impacting scenes missing or if it was that her moment of understanding what she was living and getting out of there happened too fast, when in reality it's not usually that way, but what is true is that I finished the film with that feeling, and from what I've seen in terms of the reviews, I wasn't the only one.
💐 LA POLÉMICA DETRÁS DE LA PELÍCULA || THE CONTROVERSY BEHIND THE FILM 💜
Aunque no quiero darle mucho énfasis a éste punto, si me parece importante hablar un poco de ello, y es que si no conocen lo ocurrido, durante los eventos de promoción de la película se presentaron una serie de controversias en torno a la falta de interacción entre algunos miembros del cast (miembros importantes del cast) y a una inadecuada promoción por parte de la protagonista en cuanto al mensaje/tema de la historia. Con la primera parte de la controversia no me quiero meter, porque realmente no es que aporte mucho, ahora la segunda parte sí me parece importante porque efectivamente es cierto que el tema principal de la historia no recibió un adecuado abordaje, y aunque podría parecer algo sin importancia, resulta que sí es algo alarmante cuando ves a un montón de chicas llegar a la sala de cine pensando que verán una comedia romántica, pensando que ésto es Barbie y todo será rosa y lleno de flores, y aquí no quiero atribuirle toda la culpa a la actriz principal porque considero que todos los involucrados en la inadecuada promoción de la película tienen su porción de culpa, haciendo que desafortunadamente ésto le reste un poco de valor a todo el trabajo realizado.

With the first part of the controversy I don't want to get into, because it doesn't really contribute much, but the second part seems important to me because it is indeed true that the main theme of the story was not adequately addressed, and although it might seem unimportant, it is alarming when you see a lot of girls arriving at the cinema thinking they are going to see a romantic comedy, thinking that this is Barbie and everything will be pink and flowery, and here I don't want to put all the blame on the lead actress because I feel that everyone involved in the inadequate promotion of the film has their share of blame, making this unfortunately detract a little bit from all the work that has been done.

Hola amiga, esta película suena muy bien y sobre todo un tema que le puede ocurrir a cualquier persona en esta vida cuando se trata de amor, la cual es algo muy importante y por lo que mencionas entra en juego muchas cosas y en especial la toma de decisiones.
