Para algunos esto no es más que ocio, pero para mí, estar al tanto de la cultura pop me produce demasiada dopamina. En un mundo que está lleno de miseria, comprendo que digan que las noticias banales como la realización de una nueva película o un nuevo artista emergiendo sean cosas tontas y que hay darle más luz a lo que está pasando en el planeta, pero las personas lo dicen como si las dos cosas no pudiesen convivir juntas. En mi particular, me gusta mucho cuando hay noticias de cultura pop, me hace feliz y además, con esto, lo hago mi trabajo. Por eso no puedo dejar de escribir hoy porque para muchas personas (entre ellas, yo), hoy ha sido un día interesante por las noticias que se han publicado en las redes. Estas, para mí, las más importantes:

For some this is nothing more than entertainment, but for me, keeping up with pop culture gives me too much dopamine. In a world that is full of misery, I understand that people say that banal news like the making of a new movie or a new artist emerging are silly things and that there is more light to be shed on what is happening on the planet, but people say it as if the two things can't coexist together. In my particular, I really like when there is pop culture news, it makes me happy and besides, with this, I make it my job. That's why I can't stop writing today because for many people (including me), today has been an interesting day because of the news that have been published in the networks. These, for me, are the most important ones:

Nuevo libro y película de los juegos del hambre: la película, al igual que la novela, se llamará “Sunrise of the reaping” y tomará lugar el año que Haymithc (interpretado por un Woody Harrelson en las películas) ganó los juegos del hambre. Mientras que la novela está pautada para 2025, película se estrenará en 2026 y para los amantes de los juegos del hambre esta es una increíble noticia porque ese año, según los libros, el “concurso” tuvo el doble de tributos.

New Hunger Games book and movie: the movie, like the novel, will be called “Sunrise of the reaping” and will take place the year Haymithc (played by a Woody Harrelson in the movies) won the Hunger Games. While the novel is set for 2025, the movie will be released in 2026 and for Hunger Games fans this is incredible news because that year, according to the books, the “contest” had twice as many tributes.

Se estrena el tráiler de la película de Pharrell William: es normal que los famosos hagan una película de sus vidas, sobre todo cuando son músicos. La película de NWA straight outta compton es una maravilla de película y así como esta hay varias, sin embargo, cuando Pharrell dijo que quería hacer la película de su vida en versión Lego la noticia no se tomó muy bien. De igual manera, sabiendo la mente maestra que es Pharrell para todo lo artístico, yo estoy muy montado en la idea de una biopic usando legos dónde salgan artistas de la talla de Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar y Snoop Dogg.

Pharrell William's movie trailer is released: it is normal for celebrities to make a movie of their lives, especially when they are musicians. The NWA movie straight outta compton is a wonderful movie and there are several like it, however, when Pharrell said he wanted to make the movie of his life in a Lego version the news was not taken very well. Likewise, knowing what a mastermind Pharrell is for all things artistic, I'm very much on board with the idea of a biopic using Legos featuring the likes of Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg.

Días para House of the Dragon: Tal vez esta no sea una noticia como tal, pero al faltar solo menos de diez día, la productora ya le mostró los primeros capítulos a algunos críticos y la han amado tanto como la primera temporada. House of the Dragon es la serie spin off de Game of thrones y para quienes siguieron esta historia hace ya dos años, la idea de que la segunda temporada sea tan buena como la primera es toda una delicia.

Days to House of the Dragon: This may not be news as such, but with only less than ten days to go, the production company has already shown the first chapters to some critics and they have loved it as much as the first season. House of the Dragon is the spin off series of Game of Thrones and for those who followed this story two years ago, the idea that the second season will be as good as the first one is a delight.
