Secuestrada para ir al Cine [ESP/ENG]
Últimamente no he tenido mucho tiempo libre o de ocio, las actividades y responsabilidades de la universidad como de trabajo me consumen la gran parte de mi tiempo y al final del día o cualquier tiempo libre lo que quiero es descansar; desde hace tiempo varios amigos me han dicho para salir y pasar un tiempo de calidad juntos pero el mismo tema del tiempo, dinero y energía me ha hecho rechazar los planes.
Hace poco tuve fue el cumpleaños de el hermano mayor de mi mejor amiga y por poco no voy, logré asistir gracias a que me ayudaron a resolver los traslados y, básicamente, me obligaron; ayer pasó algo parecido.
Lately I haven't had much free or leisure time, the activities and responsibilities of college and work consume most of my time and at the end of the day or any free time what I want is to rest; for some time several friends have told me to go out and spend some quality time together but the same issue of time, money and energy has made me reject the plans.
I recently had my best friend's older brother's birthday and I almost didn't go, I managed to attend thanks to the fact that they helped me figure out the transfers and basically forced me; yesterday something similar happened.
Ayer fue día de clases, reuniones y rodaje; la pauta era a la 1 y la verdad había muchas irregularidades con el rodaje pero nada que no se pudiese solucionar, el problema se dio cuando ya eran las 2:30 de la tarde, nosotros aún no habíamos almorzado y la profesora a quién ibamos a entrevistar aún no llegaba ni avisaba de nada. Esto evidentemente me hizo molestar y como directora general, cancelé la pauta, para enterarme 5 min después que la profesora había cancelado por una emergencia familiar.
Cuando estoy de mal humor, y más si es por hambre, lo menos que quiero es interacción social así que me quise ir a mi casa lo más rápido posible pero mi amiga Azul y su pareja me "secuestraron" porque no querían que yo me fuese a encerrar a mi casa sola estando tan molesta; primero me llevaron a comer helados a un sitio muy lindo en el Centro Comercial Manuelita Sáenz que queda en Chacaito y de ahí fuimos al cine debido a que teníamos tiempo que ninguno de los 3 iba a una proyección de cine real.
Yesterday was a day of classes, meetings and shooting; the guideline was at 1 o'clock and the truth is that there were many irregularities with the shooting but nothing that could not be solved, the problem occurred when it was already 2:30 in the afternoon, we had not yet had lunch and the teacher who we were going to interview had not yet arrived and had not yet given any notice of anything. This obviously annoyed me and as general manager, I cancelled the interview, only to find out 5 minutes later that the teacher had cancelled due to a family emergency.
When I'm in a bad mood, and more if it's because of hunger, the least I want is social interaction so I wanted to go home as soon as possible but my friend Azul and her partner "kidnapped" me because they didn't want me to go home alone being so upset; first they took me to eat ice cream to a very nice place in the Manuelita Saenz Mall in Chacaito and from there we went to the movies because we had time that none of the 3 of us went to a real movie screening.
Es curioso ver películas una vez tu empiezas a estudiar cine como tal, el análisis y percepción que tienes de una producción audiovisual es mucho más profunda incluyendo temas técnicos que una persona normal pasa desapercibido; ya de por sí ver una película o cualquier producto audiovisual conmigo es un tanto fastidioso porque nunca me quedo callada, imagínense 3 estudiantes de cine viendo una película mal ejecutada, estuvimos las 2 horas destruyendo los detalles técnicos y la mala ejecución del largometraje aparte de predecir muchos de los sucesos que ocurrirían porque el guion era demasiado básico y simple.
De igual forma fue muy divertido ir al cine con Azul y Jeremy, creo que nunca había ido a ver una película con compañeros de la universidad que estuvieran al mismo nivel que yo con temas semióticos, técnicos y de lenguaje como narrativa audiovisual; fue una experiencia muy nutritiva porque salimos con muchas ideas para hacer.
It is curious to see movies once you start studying film as such, the analysis and perception you have of an audiovisual production is much deeper including technical issues that a normal person goes unnoticed; already watching a movie or any audiovisual product with me is somewhat annoying because I never stay quiet, imagine 3 film students watching a poorly executed film, we spent the 2 hours destroying the technical details and poor execution of the film besides predicting many of the events that would occur because the script was too basic and simple.
It was also fun to go to the movies with Azul and Jeremy, I think I had never gone to see a film with college classmates who were at the same level as me with semiotic, technical and language issues such as audiovisual narrative; it was a very nourishing experience because we left with many ideas to do.
Agradezco mucho este pequeño secuestro para despejar la mente de todo lo que me ha estado estresando estos meses, aunque fuimos a hacer exactamente lo que ya hacemos en la universidad, no es lo mismo hacerlo por una actividad o tarea que hacerlo por diversión y entretenimiento propio; espero poder salir de todo lo que me agobia pronto para tener más tiempo de calidad con mis amigos y familia.

I really appreciate this little hijack to clear my mind of everything that has been stressing me out these months, even though we went to do exactly what we already do at the university, it's not the same to do it for an activity or homework than to do it for fun and entertainment of my own; I hope I can get out of everything that overwhelms me soon to have more quality time with my friends and family.
