Un deseo irlandés: Reseña optimizada

Es una película fácil de ver, una típica comedia romántica donde no hace falta pensar demasiado y solo puedes disfrutar.

Maddie, una joven estadounidense, viaja a Irlanda para asistir a la boda de su mejor amiga con el hombre de sus sueños. Desilusionada y sin suerte en el amor, Maddie pide un deseo en una piedra mágica que cambia su destino de forma inesperada. Al despertar, se encuentra convertida en la futura esposa del galán, lo que la lleva a una aventura llena de descubrimientos sobre el amor, la amistad y la importancia de ser fiel a sí misma.

Un mensaje que me transmite esta película es: No debemos ser inconformes con el curso que toma nuestra vida. A veces no entendemos que si las cosas pasan de cierta forma, así debe ser.

En la película, la protagonista Maddie (interpretada por Lindsay Lohan) está enamorada platónicamente y fantasiosamente de Paul Kennedy, un galán y adinerado escritor de novelas románticas. Por cosas de la vida, él se enamora de una de las mejores amigas de Maddie.

En el transcurso de la película, Maddie se lamenta de nunca haberle confesado a Paul sus sentimientos.

Allí entra en juego lo que siempre digo: nos arrepentimos más de lo que no hacemos que de lo que sí. Si la protagonista hubiera dejado su miedo a un lado, quizás hubiera idealizado a Paul y se habría dado cuenta de que no por ser teóricamente perfecto es el chico ideal para ella.

La película se desarrolla en Irlanda, un lugar hermoso, mágico y misterioso. Así que Maddie, un poco triste de que su amiga va a realizar el sueño de su vida de casarse con Paul Kennedy, no puede evitar desear ser ella quien se case con él.

Al ser Irlanda un lugar lleno de magia, se incluye en el guion una juguetona hada madrina (Santa Brígida) que hace realidad su deseo.

Solo para darse cuenta de que no siempre lo que deseamos es lo ideal.

Al día siguiente, despierta confundida y le cuesta hacerse a la idea de que se casará con Paul Kennedy. Todos los papeles cambian, incluyendo a su amiga que anteriormente se casaría y ahora sera su madrina de bidas.

En el desarrollo de la película, es notable que entre Paul y Maddie no hay química.

Maddie conoce a un chico fotógrafo: ingenioso, guapo, viajero y rebelde. Con él, al mejor estilo del Titanic, pasan una noche divertida en un bar donde su conexión es mase obvia.

Existe química y se conectan instantáneamente, a pesar de que en un inicio parecían llevarse mal.
Les aseguro que es una película que pueden disfrutar, relajarse y reír, sin dejar de lado un bonito mensaje: no todo lo que deseamos significa que sea bueno para nosotros. El universo sabe cuál es el mejor curso para tu destino. Para eso, disfruta el camino, no todo es la meta.

Lo que no me gustó:
😬La trama puede resultar un poco predecible para algunos espectadores.
😶‍🌫️Algunos personajes secundarios podrían tener un mayor desarrollo.

Recomiendo esta película a todos aquellos que buscan una comedia romántica divertida, con un toque de magia y un mensaje positivo sobre el amor, la amistad y la importancia de ser fiel a uno mismo.

An Irish Wish: A Review

It's an easy-to-watch movie, a typical romantic comedy where you don't have to think too much and can just enjoy the ride.

A message that this movie conveys to me is: We should not be dissatisfied with the course our life takes. Sometimes we don't understand that if things happen in a certain way, that's the way it's meant to be.

In the film, the protagonist Maddie (played by Lindsay Lohan) is platonically and fancifully in love with Paul Kennedy, a handsome and wealthy romance novelist. By some twist of fate, he falls in love with one of Maddie's best friends.

Throughout the film, Maddie regrets never confessing her feelings to Paul.

That's where what I always say comes in: we regret more what we don't do than what we do. If the protagonist had put her fear aside, she might have idealized Paul and realized that he is not the ideal guy for her just because he is theoretically perfect.

The film is set in Ireland, a beautiful, magical and mysterious place. So Maddie, a little sad that her friend is going to live her dream of marrying Paul Kennedy, can't help but wish she was the one marrying him.

Since Ireland is a place full of magic, the script includes a playful fairy godmother (Santa Brígida) who makes her wish come true.

Only to realize that not always what we wish for is the ideal.

The next day, she wakes up confused and has a hard time coming to terms with the idea that she is going to marry Paul Kennedy. All the roles change, including her friend who was previously going to get married and will now be her maid of honor.

In the course of the film, it is noticeable that there is no chemistry between Paul and Maddie.

Maddie meets a photographer: witty, handsome, well-traveled and rebellious. With him, in the best Titanic style, they have a fun night at a bar where their connection is more obvious.

There is chemistry and they connect instantly, even though they seemed to get along badly at first.

I assure you that it is a movie that you can enjoy, relax and laugh, without neglecting a nice message: not everything we wish for means that it is good for us. The universe knows what the best course is for your destiny. So enjoy the journey, not everything is the destination.

What I liked:
The film is light and fun, with a touch of magic that makes it even more special.
The underlying message is inspiring: it invites us to reflect on our desires and to value what really matters in life.
⭐Lindsay Lohan returns to the big screen with a charming and energetic performance.
The film is set in the beautiful Irish countryside, which adds a magical touch to the story.

What I didn't like:
The plot can be a bit predictable for some viewers.
‍️Some secondary characters could have been developed more.

I recommend this film to anyone looking for a fun romantic comedy with a touch of magic and a positive message about love, friendship and the importance of being true to yourself.
