My opinion about the movie: Mr. and Mrs. Smith [ENG/ESP]
Hola, amigos. Hoy quiero compartirles mi opinión sobre una película que vi hace años y hace unos días volví a verla. Una producción cinematográfica que juega entre la comedia, el romance y la acción. Pero su mayor atracción es la actuación de sus personajes principales. Me refiero a Sr. y Sra. Smith de 2005.
Hello, friends. Today I want to share my opinion with you about a movie I saw a few years ago and saw again a few days ago. A movie that plays between comedy, romance, and action. But its biggest attraction is the performance of its main characters. I'm talking about Mr. and Mrs. Smith from 2005.
Una gran actuación de Brad Pitt (John Smith) y Angelina Jolie (Jane Smith). Interpretan a un matrimonio plagado de mentiras y secretos, consumido por la monotonía. Juntar a estas dos megas estrellas hace que la película pinte para éxito. Desde el principio, sentí la química entre estos dos. No era solo la tensión en las escenas de acción, la cual es evidente, sino ese sarcasmo verbal que utilizan.
La conexión entre Pitt y Jolie es lo que realmente eleva esta película. No sé si es porque se enamoraron en la vida real después de filmarla, pero sus interacciones son más que realista. Cada mirada y cada comentario están llenos de tensión y humor. Incluso durante los momentos de acción no pude evitar sonreír ante la ironía entre ellos.
A great performance by Brad Pitt (John Smith) and Angelina Jolie (Jane Smith). They play a marriage plagued by lies and secrets, consumed by monotony. Putting these two megastars together makes the movie look like a success. From the beginning, I felt the chemistry between these two. It wasn't just the tension in the action scenes, which is obvious, but that verbal sarcasm they use.
The connection between Pitt and Jolie is what really elevates this movie. I don't know if it's because they fell in love in real life after filming it, but their interactions are more than realistic. Each look and each comment are full of tension and humor. Even during the action moments I couldn't help but smile at the irony between them.
Mentiría si dijera que muchos se sentirían identificados por alguno de ellos. Fuera de ser un matrimonio bastante monótono, no creo que existan algunas características que podamos compartir. Quizás esto sea uno de los factores que hacen que tenga esa fuerza distintiva como pareja.
La acción está a otro nivel. No pasa un solo minuto sin que haya un tiro cerca. La fuerza que ejercen estos dos actores es inigualable, manteniendo la tensión alta durante todo el tiempo. Esta tiene ese encanto de las películas de espías clásicas, pero la sensualidad y el humor le dan un estilo propio.
I would be lying if I said many would identify with any of them. Outside of being a quite monotonous marriage, I don't think there are any features we can share. Maybe this is one of the factors that make it have such a distinctive strength as a couple.
The action is on another level. There isn't a single minute without a shot nearby. The force these two actors exert is unrivaled, keeping the tension high the whole time. This has that charm of the classic spy movies, but the sensuality and humor give it its own style.
La banda sonora se adecua a los diferentes tonos de la película, contribuyendo a ser más atractiva. En las secuencias de acción, utilizan ritmos enérgicos, logrando transmitir emoción. Siendo un poco más efectiva que las utilizadas durante los momentos románticos.
Los personajes secundarios contribuyen al desarrollo de la historia. Sus papeles son pequeños y pueden llegar a pasar desapercibidos. Aunque me gustaría destacar a Eddy (Vince Vaughn) que en sus dos o tres escenas le añade un toque de humor.
The soundtrack adapts to the different tones of the movie, helping to make it more attractive. In the action sequences, they use energetic rhythms, managing to transmit emotion. Being a little more effective than those used during the romantic moments.
The secondary characters contribute to the development of the story. Their roles are small and they can go unnoticed. Although I would like to highlight Eddy (Vince Vaughn) who in his two or three scenes adds a touch of humor.
Brad Pitt y Angelina Jolie forman una pareja sexy y con gran feeling, pero no son capaces de elevar este material tan cargado de acción. No cuenta con ese guión tan profundo donde logras hacer un vínculo con algún personaje, pero los chistes y las ocurrencias mantienen la película ligera y entretenida. Quizás, por contar con tantos momentos de entretenimiento es que no se llega a esa profundidad emocional que me hubiese gustado.
Sr. y Sra. Smith es de esas películas que te mantiene atado al asiento. Suficientes momentos de acción y de entretenimiento. Comparte cierta similitud a las películas de James Bond, siendo el rol de pareja la diferencia palpable. Básicamente me encanta todo de ella, logra mantenerme desconectada con el exterior durante sus 120 minutos. Si lo que deseas ver es mucho entretenimiento y acción desmesurada, esta es tu cinta. No todos los días puedes ver a dos de tus actores favoritos compartiendo escena.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie form a sexy and great feeling couple, but they are not able to raise this material so full of action. It does not have that deep script where you manage to make a connection with some character, but the jokes and the occurrences keep the movie light and entertaining. Maybe, because it has so many moments of entertainment is that it does not reach that emotional depth that I would have liked.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith is one of those movies that keeps you tied to your seat. Enough moments of action and entertainment. It shares certain similarity to James Bond movies, being the couple's role the palpable difference. I basically love everything about it, it manages to keep me disconnected from the outside for its 120 minutes. If what you want to see is a lot of entertainment and excessive action, this is your movie. Not every day you can see two of your favorite actors sharing a scene.

Tiene acción y su toque de risas. Es realmente buena y muy bien actuada. Aunque claro, tiene cosas que usf.. pero en fin, es película y en películas todo se puede jaja.
Si... Esta enseña que las balas matan a todos menos a los protagonistas... jajaja
Hoola Leisasa! Como recuerdo esta película! Es una de esas pelis que tiene mucha identidad Pit & Jolie hacen una pareja genial! Me gusto tanto que esperaba que tuviera una secuela cosa que nunca paso, pero nos quedamos con esta gran obra que disfruté mucho. Saludos.
