MOVIE OF THE WEEK.

I am not really a series person, in fact, just started watching series last year, my main reason for not watching series was the fact that I have to wait a year or two for another season to be released when I just watched a whole season in some hours. I might end up forgetting the movie or never completing the series.

As a movie freak, I need to watch movies or anything at all, and movies (that aren’t series) are already getting boring, the storyline is just almost the same, so I kinda switched to series and I rarely watch movies, Unless they are recommended. One thing about all the series I have watched so far is that there are interesting maybe because I find the interesting series, hehe.

The recent series I watched is so intriguing it is kinda annoying that I don’t know when the next season will be out. Now, the movie is not a waste of time, I am just left with unanswered questions. The recent series I have watched is Ginny and Georgia. Now this movie looks like a combination of two series to me.. hehe.. it is just my thinking. Combination of Euphoria and You, but my sister said it doesn’t looks like it

This movie is not a regular movie, it starred Brianne Howey as a psychopath mother named Georgia and Antonia Gentry as a teen daughter named Ginny. It is more like a family movie and a touch of school and fun.

Georgia got pregnant at the age of 15 after she ran away from home due to her stepfather's maltreatment, she lived a struggling life and hustling life, she also lived a psycho life married to four husbands some not actually married but spouse or so, she killed two, framed one, and left one, She got pregnant for two different husbands.

Georgia who always move around, never settling down in a city, decided to move to Wellsberry after her last husband’s death. The children hated that she always move around if any trouble sprang up. Moving to wellsbury to start afresh, things happened.

Wellsbury was the place where Ginny was at least able to make friends, wellsbury seemed like a happy place, a place they can finally settle down and build a home. But Georgia, our lovely Georgia she always got a guy, a new city, a new guy, the new guy was Paul; a mayor of the town.

One thing about Georgia is that she is so attractive, friendly, extravagant, and beautiful. Plus, a fraudster, murderer. She has that wide smile that would give you the impression that everything is fine when it is clearly very bad. She always does things her way and always wanna be in control. Ginny hated this, things were not okay.. clearly the past was coming back to life but she still smile.

Ginny already finds out that her mother was a murderer and a psycho but her mother always acts like there isn’t any problem. Ginny couldn’t handle it. Past is coming to the present as a detective was hired to dive in on Georgia’s past and her late husband’s death.

Paul fell in love with Georgia, our beloved Paul, Paul with a rich family, Paul a fine and handsome man, Paul a mayor fell in love with our pretty Georgia. Soon, their love grew strong but unfortunately, stuff happened, and the past happened. Georgia wanted to leave the city but Ginny told her she was tired of leaving and she try to fix things up, she told Paul about her past, a little past, leaving the murder part completely out.

On the other side, Ginny already made a circle of friends called MANG, and stuff happened within the circle.. she also got a boyfriend though she was not doing okay because her mother's past and present affects her. Time passed, and Paul agreed to marry Georgia.. wedding was going well until Georgia was arrested for the murder of a neighbor's husband.

Ginny and Georgia is a series with complete season 1 and season 2, season 3 is yet to be announced, again I’ll say it is very annoying. I might not have summarised it well but it is worth the time. You can check it out too.

I love this movie because of the script and storyline. I mean it is quite different from other movies and it is more like intriguing, with a lot of questions left to answer. I love the characters too especially Georgia. I love the series in general, but most importantly I enjoyed the anticipation after every episode.
