My opinion about the movie: The Art of Racing in the Rain [ENG/ESP]
Hola, amigos de Hive. Hoy quisiera compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre una película que vi ayer por segunda vez. Esta es narrada a través de la perspectiva de Enzo, un perro. Me refiero a El Arte de Conducir Bajo la Lluvia.
Hello, Hive friends. Today I wanted to share with you my opinion on a movie that I saw yesterday for the second time. This is narrated through the perspective of Enzo, a dog. I'm talking about The Art of Racing in the Rain.
Esta película de 2019 está basada en la novela de Garth Stein. En esta somos testigos de la vida de Denny Swift, interpretado por Milo Ventimiglia. Quien adopta a Enso cuando era un cachorro. Si fuera posible hubiera sido ganador de un Oscar a la mejor actuación canina.
Cuando la vi por primera vez, pensé que era una comedia. No pudiera decir que no, aunque para mi tiene tanto peso el guión, que el romance y el poder de la familia y la amistad se roban toda la atención. También tiene un poco de carreras de autos para los amantes de las pistas.
This 2019 movie is based on Garth Stein's novel. In it we witness the life of Denny Swift, played by Milo Ventimiglia. Who adopts Enzo when he was a puppy. If it were possible, he would have won an Oscar for best canine performance.
When I saw it for the first time, I thought it was a comedy. I couldn't say no, even though for me the script has so much weight, the romance and the power of family and friendship steal all the attention. It also has a little bit of car racing for track lovers.
Enso no solo narra lo que observa, también es participe activo de esos sucesos que transcurren a su alrededor. Aprende y juega un rol importante en la familia. A través de él se manejan muy bien las líneas, logrando profundas reflexiones sobre la existencia humana.
Anteriormente comenté que en esta película hay carreras de autos, pero es lo menos trascendental ya que casi que pasa desapercibido a diferencia de los temas universales que se abordan. En esta se tocan temas muy sensibles. Desde el amor y la pérdida hasta la lucha por alcanzar nuestros sueños. El Arte de Conducir Bajo la Lluvia nos recuerda que la vida es compleja, y como dice un proverbio: "No importa cuántas veces te caigas, lo importante es saber levantarse".
Enso not only narrates what he observes, he is also an active participant in the events that take place around him. He learns and plays an important role in the family. Through him, the lines are very well managed, achieving deep reflections on human existence.
Previously, I commented that there are car races in this movie, but it is the least transcendental because it almost goes unnoticed in contrast to the universal themes that are addressed. In this, very sensitive topics are touched. From love and loss to the fight to achieve our dreams. The Art of Racing in the Rain reminds us that life is complex, and as a proverb says: "It does not matter how many times you fall, what matters is knowing how to get up".
La empatía que se llega a sentir por este animalito cuadrúpedo es evidente, al igual que por Denny. En más de una ocasión, llegas a sentir un dolor en el pecho debido a los sentimientos que esta película logra aflorar en uno. Te sientes identificado con los personajes. Está muy bien realizada y logra una fuerte atracción hacia la historia narrada.
El Arte de Conducir Bajo la Lluvia nos recuerda la fragilidad de la vida y las travesías por las que se transita. Si alguna vez has tenido una mascota, esta película hará que la eches más de menos. Ayuda a reflexionar sobre la importancia de la vida junto a nuestros seres queridos y a disfrutarla al máximo. Porque yo, aunque fue la segunda vez que la veo, me hizo llorar.
The empathy you feel for this little quadruped is evident, as is for Denny. On more than one occasion, you feel a pain in your chest due to the feelings that this movie manages to bring out in you. You feel identified with the characters. It is very well done and manages to create a strong attraction towards the story being told.
The Art of Racing in the Rain reminds us of the fragility of life and the journeys we take through it. If you have ever had a pet, this film will make you miss them more. It helps to reflect on the importance of life with our loved ones and to enjoy it to the fullest. Because I, even though it was my second time watching it, it made me cry.

Es una película que te hace ver la vida a través de un perro. Tiene un desenlace muy fuerte y una actuación excelente. La verdad es que es maravilloso ver lo que pensarían nuestras mascotas, aquí se consigue de manera muy efectiva.
No conocía esta película, pero ahora tengo la necesidad de verla ya porque me encantan estos film protagonizados por perros. La trama suena muy bien y siento que va a ser conmovedora y hermosa a partes iguales. Ya me la apunto para ver. Gracias por la recomendación!
