Alien Romulus (2024) || My Opinion

Este film está dirigido por el Uruguayo Fede Álvarez, quien en mi opinión rescata toda la tensión vivida en las películas anteriores trayéndonos de regreso todas esas escenas de emoción y suspenso que veremos interpretadas en sus protagonistas son Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Isabela Merced, entre otros. Centrándose su trama en dos hermanos adoptivos llamados Rain (Caille Spaeny) y Andy (David Jonsson), los cuales buscan la manera de salir del planeta donde se encuentran aventurándose con sus amigos a trabajar en una expedición a una nave espacial abandonada para rescatar cámaras de criostasis, iniciando así su peor pesadilla, ya que no es difícil adivinar cuál será el fin de esta tripulación.

This film is directed by the Uruguayan Fede Alvarez, who in my opinion rescues all the tension experienced in previous films bringing back all those scenes of emotion and suspense that we will see interpreted in their protagonists are Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Isabela Merced, among others. Focusing its plot on two adopted siblings named Rain (Caille Spaeny) and Andy (David Jonsson), who are looking for a way out of the planet where they are venturing with their friends to work on an expedition to an abandoned spaceship to rescue cryostasis chambers, thus beginning their worst nightmare, as it is not difficult to guess what will be the end of this crew.

Por lo que sin ánimos de hacer spoiler, solo les puedo decir que al llegar a la nave no estarán solos, ahí revivirán sin querer a los temibles abrazacaras, criaturas que vimos en películas anteriores las cuales se pegan como parásitos a la cara de sus víctimas hasta apoderarse de sus cuerpos y así empieza la proliferación de estos xenomorfos, llevándolas luego a la estación central, propiciando una lucha para sobrevivir a todas estas criaturas, que te mantendrán sin pestañear durante toda la cinta.

So without spoilers, I can only tell you that when you get to the ship you will not be alone, there you will unintentionally revive the fearsome facehuggers, creatures that we saw in previous films which stick like parasites to the face of their victims until they take over their bodies and thus begins the proliferation of these xenomorphs, taking them then to the central station, leading to a struggle to survive all these creatures, which will keep you without blinking throughout the film.

Lo que más me gusto de esta película es que se respeta la historia original de Aliens, la atmosfera se mantiene oscura y fría; contrastándola muy bien con lo espeluznante de esas criaturas de xenomorfos con esa viscosa baba característica de los Aliens cuando se le acerca a la protagonista Rain, como sucedía con Ripley, y aunque en varias escenas se hacen referencia a situaciones de películas anteriores como Aliens El Octavo Pasajero, asi como Aliens Resurrections; pero también podemos ver que el director aporta nuevos elementos a la historia que le dan un giro a la historia al final que dependerá de ti si te gusta o no, en mi caso como fanática que soy de esta saga le doy un 9 de 10, ya que la disfrutas desde el principio hasta el final, por lo que se la recomiendo ampliamente, y si ya tuvieron la oportunidad de verla déjenme en los comentarios sus apreciaciones, hasta una próxima oportunidad.

What I liked most about this film is that it respects the original story of Aliens, the atmosphere remains dark and cold; contrasting very well with the creepiness of those creatures of xenomorphs with that slimy slime characteristic of the Aliens when it approaches the protagonist Rain, as happened with Ripley, and although in several scenes are referenced situations from previous films such as Aliens The Eighth Passenger, as well as Aliens Resurrections; but we can also see that the director brings new elements to the story that give a twist to the story at the end that will depend on you if you like it or not, in my case as a fan that I am of this saga I give it a 9 out of 10, because you enjoy it from the beginning to the end, so I highly recommend it, and if you already had the opportunity to see it leave me in the comments your appreciations, until a next opportunity.
