ATLAS || My Opinion [Eng/ Esp]

As for the performance of its protagonist Jenifer Lopez in her character of Atlas, leaves much to be desired, because although at the beginning she shows a confident and strong personality when she interrogates one of the robots called Casca, played by Abraham Popola, she manages to discover lethally attacking this humanoid where Harlan (Simu Liu) is; but then this character changes completely to a fearful, and insecure personality, when the ship is attacked and she must get out inside one of the defense robots used in the space army, to save herself.

En cuanto a la actuación de su protagonista Jenifer López en su personaje de Atlas, deja mucho que desear, ya que a pesar de que al inicio demuestra una personalidad segura y fuerte cuando hace el interrogatorio a uno de los robots llamado Casca, interpretado por Abraham Popola, ésta logra descubrir atacando de forma letal a este humanoide donde se encuentra Harlan, (Simu Liu); pero luego éste personaje cambia completamente a una personalidad temerosa e insegura, cuando la nave es atacada y ella debe salir dentro de uno de los robots de defensa que usan en la armada espacial, para salvarse.

I found out of place the screams of fear when he was falling to the planet, that made in my opinion that the seriousness of his protagonist was lost; as for the characters there is no clear male counter-figure, his robot Smith is the closest thing to that; During the development of the film he is seen looking for a way to reach an escape pod, inside his robot, with whom he refuses to synchronize for fear that it can control his mind, finally agreeing, and then confronting Harlan; by the way that this final scene looked like a fight of the Transformers movie rather. The dialogues are banal and unimportant.

Me pareció fuera de lugar los gritos que pegaba de miedo cuando estaba cayendo al planeta, eso hizo en mi opinión que se perdiera la seriedad de su protagonista; en cuanto a los personajes no hay una contrafigura masculina clara, su robot Smith es lo más cercano a eso; durante el desarrollo de la película se le ve es buscando la manera de llegar a una cápsula de escape, dentro de su robot, con quien se niega a sincronizar por temor a que este pueda controlar su mente, accediendo finalmente, para luego enfrentarse con Harlan; por cierto que esta escena final parecía un combate dela película de Transformers más bien. Los diálogos son banales y carentes de importancia.

Another thing I didn't understand is the almost null participation of the group of elite soldiers trained and led by Colonel Banks (Sterling K. Brown) who after an attack of less than 5 minutes no longer appear in the film, except for the Colonel who is taken prisoner and has little relevance to his character, giving Jennifer Lopez the leading role to finish off this evil character Harlan, while she is still struggling to learn how to handle her own robot.

Otra de las cosas que no entendí es la participación casi nula del grupo de soldados elites entrenados y dirigidos por el coronel Banks (Sterling K. Brown) que luego de un ataque de menos de 5 minutos ya no salieron más en la película, salvo por el coronel que lo hacen prisionero y tiene poca relevancia su personaje, dándole el protagonismo a Jennifer Lopez de acabar con este malvado personaje Harlan, mientras ella está luchando aún por aprender a manejar su propio robot.

Here in the final part of the film he changes again to a strong character when he manages to destroy Harlan, making it clear that he was able to do this thanks to the fact that he completed his synchronization with his robot.
