Let's Talk about "Transformers One" (2024)

If you haven't seen any of the previous Transformers movies, don't worry, because this will not be an impediment for you to fully enjoy this installment; the plot starts in Cybertron, a planet that after suffering an alien attack where its elite soldiers die, they lose their most valuable artifact called “the Matrix of Leadership”, which was what gave energy to the planet, having now to extract Energon from the mines, in order to survive. Being the miners in charge of doing this work as slaves, being the lowest class of machines, since they do not have the power to transform.

But one of those miners named Orion Pax will not resign himself to this life and will look for a way to do something extraordinary and get out of the mines, so he proposes to participate for the first time in a race with the most powerful Transformers, and he takes his friend D-16 with him, deceived, and manages to have an excellent participation, giving hope to the other miners who watched them excited to be represented by them.

¿De que trata esta Pelicula?

Si aún no has visto ninguna de las películas anteriores de Transformers no te preocupes, ya que esto no será impedimento para que puedas disfrutar a plenitud esta entrega; la trama inicia en Cybertron, un planeta que después de sufrir un ataque alienígena donde mueren sus soldados elites, pierden su artefacto más valioso llamado “la Matriz del Liderazgo”, que era lo que le daba la energía al planeta, teniendo ahora que extraer de las minas el Energón, para poder sobrevivir. Siendo los mineros los encargados de hacer esta labor como esclavos, siendo la clase más baja de las máquinas, ya que ellos no tienen el poder de transformarse.

Pero uno de esos mineros llamado Orion Pax no se resignara a esta vida y buscara la manera de hacer algo extraordinario y salir de las minas, por lo que se propone participar por primera vez en una carrera junto a los Transformers más poderosos, y lleva engañado a su amigo D-16, logrando tener una excelente participación, dándole esperanza a los demás mineros que los observaban emocionados al verse representados por ellos.

At this point we can highlight that Orion Pax, shows with his rebellious spirit and born leadership the happiness it feels to be free for a moment, and to be able to show others that mining robots could also be valuable for other things, thus igniting in his friend first the spark to desire his freedom. They will embark on a journey to the surface accompanied by Elita-1 and B-127 to search for the lost “Matrix of Leadership”, to help their people, without knowing that on the way they will discover that they were living under a deception all their lives, and nothing will be like before.

They will acquire the power to transform becoming more powerful to fight against Sentinel Prime after discovering that their leader is nothing more than a traitor, and only used the miners to exploit them; showing us many action scenes where you can appreciate each of the new features of these Transformers, that as they approach Cybertron, his friend D-16 will show changes in his personality, going from shy and docile to be a robot full of anger and revenge once he learns the truth.

A este punto podemos resaltar que Orion Pax, muestra con su espíritu rebelde y liderazgo nato la felicidad que se siente ser libre por un momento, y poder demostrarle a los demás que los robots mineros también podían ser valiosos para otras cosas, encendiendo así en su amigo primeramente la chispa para desear su libertad. Ellos emprenderán un viaje a la superficie acompañados de Elita-1 y B-127 para buscar “La Matrix del Liderazgo” perdida, para ayudar a su pueblo, sin saber que en el camino descubrirán que estaban viviendo bajo un engaño toda su vida, y ya nada será como antes.

Ellos adquirirán el poder de transformarse haciéndose más poderosos para luchar contra Sentinel Prime después de descubrir que su líder no es más que un traidor, y solo utilizaba a los mineros para explotarlos; mostrándonos muchas escenas de acción donde se pueden apreciar cada una de las nuevas características de estos Transformers, que a medida que se acercan a Cybertron, su amigo D-16 mostrara cambios en su personalidad, pasando de tímido y dócil a ser un robot lleno de ira y venganza una vez que se entera de la verdad.

Opinion:

I consider this change in T-16's character to be of much relevance, since when he feels the power he has now, he changes for the worse, wanting to do things his way, without accepting orders; imposing himself as leader by force, once he finishes with Sentinel Prime, but he goes too far in his revenge and out of control he attacks his best friend as well, showing that if power is used for evil it is worthless.

There were several scenes that make your heart beat faster and one of them is when Orion Pax arrives at the mines and gives a speech to his companions encouraging them to join him in the fight and promises them that he will give them back their freedom, and that they have the strength to change their destiny, and not to be afraid that they are not alone, and with this hopeful speech he convinces them and thus begins a new era on Cybertron. In contrast, we have D-16 who has already become Megatron and betrays him and drops him, sorry for the spoiler, but I got a lump in my throat when I saw this scene where he betrays his best friend, I confess that I did not want to continue watching the movie without Orion Pax, but not everything is as it seems and here the plot will take an unexpected turn and the only thing I can tell you is that goodness will prevail over evil.

I can't overlook that we can also enjoy several funny scenes where we can appreciate the humor of its main characters as during the race, and also when they meet B-127, who is a robot with a unique personality, being very comical and funny for his way of talking non-stop.

Opinión:

Considero que este cambio en el personaje de T-16 es de mucha relevancia, ya que cuando siente el poder que tiene ahora, cambia para mal, queriendo hacer las cosas a su modo, sin aceptar órdenes; imponiéndose como líder por la fuerza, una vez que acaba con Sentinel Prime, pero va muy lejos en su venganza y fuera de control ataca a su mejor amigo también, demostrando que si el poder se usa para la maldad no vale de nada.

Hubo varias escenas que te ponen a latir el corazón al máximo y una de ella es cuando Orion Pax llega a las minas y le da un discurso a sus compañeros alentándolos a unirse a él en la lucha y les promete que les devolverá la libertad, y que ellos tienen dentro esa fuerza para lograr cambiar su destino, y que no tengan miedo que no están solos, y con este discurso tan esperanzador los convence e inicia así una nueva era en Cybertron. En contraste tenemos a D-16 quien convertido ya en Megatron lo traiciona y deja caer, disculpen por el spoiler, pero se me puso un nudo en la garganta al ver esta escena donde traiciona a su mejor amigo, les confieso que se me quito las ganas de seguir viendo la película sin Orion Pax, pero no todo es como parece y aquí la trama dará un giro inesperado y lo único que les puedo decir es la bondad predominará sobre la maldad.

No puedo pasar por alto que también podemos disfrutar de varias escenas divertidas donde se aprecia el humor de sus personajes principales como durante la carrera, y también cuando conocen a B-127, que es un robot con una personalidad única, siendo muy cómico y gracioso por su forma de hablar sin parar.

This movie will definitely have a second part because of the way it ends, letting you know that this is just the beginning of future battles that Optimus Prime will fight with his old friend Megatron, being now rivals. Esta película definitivamente tendrá una segunda parte por la forma como termina, dejándote entrever que este es solo el inicio de futuras batallas que pelearan Optimus Prime con su viejo amigo Megatron, siendo ahora rivales.
