I am back with romance from the Silver Peak production. This time, Love in Aruba takes place in Aruba centering around the story of a father who is looking for a nanny for his daughter. This takes an interesting turn when the father and nanny develop feelings. The plot is pretty classic and its romance is packed with interesting trivia and educational talk on renewable energy such as the wind turbine. It’s a feel-good movie that is recommended more than the other two I have reviewed in the past. This is also starring minor actors and actresses that you might rarely see on screen except from a small production movie such as this one. Without further adieu, let me dive into it and give you a sneak peak of the plot and what I think about it.

Connor (David McConnell) is looking for a nanny to help him take care of his daughter Macey(Scarlett Hazen) while he’s going to work in Aruba. After interviewing more than 5 potential nanny, none of them clicked nor fit what Connor wanted. After almost giving up finding a nanny for Macey, Connor’s friend recommended Amber (Sashleigha Hightower) who happens to be her friend and is a 4th grade teacher. Amber wanted to take a break from her career and decided to apply to be Macey’s nanny. While Amber was being up front about not having the experience that was needed to be a nanny, Connor accepted her because she’s working with 4th graders and was able to click with Macey instantly. In the end, they all travel to Aruba together while Amber has to deal with prickly Connor who is actually just out of a messy divorce and loses trust in marriage and even a female companionship. But soon, their relationship grows and in Aruba,as they spend more time together, Connor softens up but eventually Amber has to leave because her sister was giving birth and she needed to help her. But as they separated, they began to feel like something was missing and eventually Connor reached out back to Amber.

In my opinion, paired with a visually stunning place in Aruba with some worth-sightseeing, this movie feels so wholesome. The acting from the actors itself was believable and convincing. It was not as if you’re watching a movie but more like watching someone vlog about their life and how their love story happened. The spices they add about the wind turbine added a more intriguing aspect to this romance because it’s not just romance but quite an informative one on the challenge of wind turbines and energy made from it. It’s mindboggler to add something like renewable energy to a romance family story that is filmed in an exotic location. This movie can also convince you to book a flight to Aruba and have the vacation of your life over there.

While I was browsing the location, apparently the villa is real and it’s so stunning with great reviews as well. I am sure for those of you who live in Venezuela, that heaven is just so close! And I wonder why I haven’t seen a lot of trips to Aruba content. I mean, I’d love to see more of that place because from the film, it was that stunning. Anyhow, I certainly recommend this movie although the pacing is a bit slower than I’d love it to be but the story unfolds as how it should be. It earns 6.5 in my dictionary and is definitely recommended.

This is also starring minor actors and actresses that you might rarely see on screen except from a small production movie such as this one.

Sometimes I do love watching movies with lesser actors and actresses, with that being said, I think I am going to watch this one out.

yep! the quality is sometime not that bad. After exploring it quite a while, I am honestly pretty amazed.

The part where you explain about the challenge of the wind turbines and the energy generated from them, I see that the story of this movie has a focus on wind energy, it sounds very interesting and I could notice that you were more interested in the explanation of that part than the story of the characters, if the story sounds very good, but explaining this kind of things is something I had never seen in a movie, unless I have not noticed it.

😃 Yeah,I mean educational movie is only a few. So, it's quite interesting to see a movie that offers it.
