Mi actividad favorita cuando nos quitan la electricidad por razonamiento en mi sector es ver películas en la computadora, ayer que mi hija estaba en casa le pedí ver "Damsel" en Netflix, una película que quería ver en su compañía ya que somos fans de Millie Bobby Brown, a ambas nos encanta como actúa y nos parece una joven con mucho carisma, es muy hermosa.

My favorite activity when they turn off the electricity for reasons in my sector is watching movies on the computer, yesterday when my daughter was at home I asked her to watch "Damsel" on Netflix, a movie that I wanted to see in her company since we are fans of Millie Bobby Brown, we both love the way she acts and she seems like a young woman with a lot of charisma, she is very beautiful.

El prometido de Elodie es un apuesto príncipe llamado Henry, al conocerse hay química entre ellos y todo parece marchar bien, el romance florece y hasta pensé que hacían una linda pareja, pero el día de la boda Elodie descubre que todo fue un engaño y la utilizaron para pagar una deuda familiar que por generaciones debe saldar la familia de Henry. Su esposo apenas unos minutos luego de casarse la lanza a una cueva donde habita un dragón que quiere matarla, está sola e indefensa, entonces ella se dará cuenta que nadie va ayudarla, tendrá que valerse por sus propios medios para salvarse y poder volver a su familia.

La película es diferente a los cuentos de hadas a los que estamos acostumbrados, en donde el príncipe salva a la dama en peligro. Esta tiene un enfoque más actual, Elodie no necesita ser salvada ya que ella misma toma el asunto en sus manos y decide luchar por su vida. Sin embargo el dragón tiene una razón para estar furioso y es difícil no empatizar con este personaje.

The movie is different from the fairy tales we are used to, where the prince saves the lady in danger. This has a more current approach, Elodie does not need to be saved since she takes matters into her own hands and decides to fight for her life. However, the dragon has a reason to be angry and it is difficult not to empathize with this character.

Amé la película, es muy buena y la actuación de Millie Bobby Brown fue perfecta, de una chica vulnerable se transformó de forma gradual en una mujer empoderada y valiente que no necesita de nadie. La puesta en escena fue hermosa, todo sugería un cuento de hadas, el vestuario y todo el reino se sentía real, el dragón muy bien logrado y daba miedo, lucía atemorizante, hasta hubo una escena que salté de mi aiento del susto, me recordó a la serie Guerra de Tronos, pensé que Elodie se había convertido al final de la película en la madre de dragones, jajaja.

I loved the movie, it's very good and Millie Bobby Brown's performance was perfect, from a vulnerable girl she gradually transformed into an empowered and brave woman who doesn't need anyone. The staging was beautiful, everything suggested a fairy tale, the costumes and the entire kingdom felt real, the dragon was very well done and scary, it looked scary, there was even a scene that made me jump out of my seat with fright, it reminded me to the War of Thrones series, I thought Elodie had become the mother of dragons at the end of the movie, hahaha.
