I believe that the best thing that can happen to human beings is to have the courage to do what they want. To discover one's essence, not to feel less than anyone else or seek approval, without concealment or vanity. You are what you are and you don't need to make up before society. Success can be achieved in all areas of life: profession, studies, those who love and are loved, those who achieve their dreams, those who triumph and overcome great obstacles, the resilient person who rises after a storm.

The mission of the human being is to face life, to be happy and to achieve what he/she desires. Perhaps there will be many people in the world who never dared to stand their ground, to believe in themselves and in the end, they walk through life like zombies; with a job they are not passionate about, a boring and empty life. Society must eradicate the obsolete paradigm that to be successful you need to have a university degree, be a doctor or a lawyer.

There are other areas where people can develop their full potential, in other areas that can also generate income and achieve success, such as: drawing, photography, painting, music, theater, among others. Likewise, being a chef, pastry chef and master chocolatier, or as they say in French "maître chocolatier". This is not just anything, it is something special and this is demonstrated by our friend Lucas in the film "Welcome to Paradise".

Seeing the love, passion and dedication with which he prepares his chocolate, impresses me. As he himself says:

"We all have a destiny, I am a chocolatier by birth and I always knew it since I was a little boy..."

Lucas is a simple man but sure of what he wants. Sometimes clumsy. Unlikely things seem to happen around him. He is honest, and in reality there are very few people in the world. He loves chocolate, he has set a goal and is working step by step towards his dream. Until one day he met the beautiful Kiki, and Cupid found his arrow. They looked at each other and both made "Clip". He showed her his formula with love and chocolate.

When love comes, there are no ifs and buts, we say "that's the one". From that moment on, they fall in love. But... With love comes problems, Kiki's "metiche" family, wanting to impose their will and also jealousy, just like any other love story. Just like any other love story. Oh, Mom! In contrast to the calm character of Lucas, there is the character of Sofia, the one they call "The mother-in-law". The polar opposite, ambitious, controlling, vain woman. She always wants to be right and say "I told you so", for whom physical beauty and money are the most important things.

A lady who says: "Everything enters through the eyes", because she cannot see beyond, nor does she use all her senses. She only lives by appearances and what people will say? They say, what a mother-in-law, who does not throw a scabbard, is not a mother-in-law. Poor little Lucas, she calls him.

"A simple master chocolatier..." Sometimes I understand that parents want the best for their children. But what is the best? A title, physical beauty and money. A person like Lucas has no right to love and be loved. To succeed and achieve his dreams. However, Lucas has something important: his dreams, work, passion for what he does and his perfect formula:

Creo que lo mejor que le puede pasar al ser humano, es tener el valor para hacer lo que desea. Descubrir su esencia, no sentirse menos que nadie ni buscar aprobación, sin tapujos ni vanidades. Se es lo que se es y no se necesita maquillaje ante la sociedad. El éxito se puede lograr en todos los ámbitos de la vida: la profesión, los estudios, el que ama y es amado, el que logra sus sueños, el que triunfa y sale airoso de grandes obstáculos, el resiliente que se levanta después de una tormenta.
La misión del ser humano es enfrentar la vida, se feliz y lograr lo que se desea. Quizás habrá muchas personas en el mundo que nunca se atrevieron a mantener su posición, a creer en ellos mismos y al final, andan por la vida como zombis; con un trabajo que no les apasiona, una vida aburrida y vacía. La sociedad debe erradicar el paradigma obsoleto, que para ser exitoso se requiere tener un título universitario, ser médico o abogado.
Hay otras áreas donde las personas pueden desarrollar todo su potencial, en otras áreas que también pueden generar ingresos y alcanzar el éxito, tales como: dibujo, fotografías, pinturas, música, teatro, entre otros. Así mismo, ser chef, pastelero y maestro chocolatero, o como se dice en francés “maître chocolatier”. Esto no es cualquier cosa, es algo especial y así lo demuestra el amigo Lucas en el filme “Bienvenido al paraíso”.
Ver el amor, la pasión y dedicación con el que prepara su chocolate, me impresionan. Como él mismo dice:
“Todos tenemos un destino, yo soy chocolatero de nacimiento y siempre lo supe desde pequeño…”
Lucas es un hombre simple pero seguro de lo que quiere. A veces torpe. Parece que a su alrededor suceden cosas inverosímiles. Es honesto, y en realidad hay muy pocas personas en el mundo. Ama el chocolate, se trazó una meta y va paso a paso trabajando por su sueño. Hasta que un día conoció a la linda Kiki, y cupido la flecha. Se miraron y ambos hicieron “Clip”. Él le mostró su fórmula con amor y chocolate.
Cuando llega el amor, no hay peros que valgan, decimos "ese es". A partir de ese instante se enamoran. Pero… Con el amor llegan los problemas, la familia “metiche” de Kiki, queriendo imponer su voluntad y también los celos. Como cualquier otra historia de amor. ¡Ay, mamá! En contraposición al carácter calmado de Lucas, está el personaje de Sofía, la que llaman “La suegra”. El polo opuesto, mujer ambiciosa, controladora, vanidosa. Siempre quiere tener la razón y decir "yo te lo dije", para quien la belleza física y el dinero es lo más importante.
Una señora que dice: “Todo entra por los ojos”, porque ella no puede ver más allá, ni utiliza todos los sentidos. Solo vive de apariencias y ¿del que dirán? Dicen por ahí, qué suegra, que no echa vaina, no es suegra. Pobrecito, Lucas, lo llama.
“Un simple maestro chocolatero…” A veces entiendo que los padres desean lo mejor para sus hijos. Pero, ¿qué es lo mejor? Un título, belleza física y dinero. Una persona como Lucas, no tiene derecho a amar y ser amado. A triunfar y lograr sus sueños. Sin embargo, Lucas tiene algo importante: sus sueños, trabajo, pasión por lo que hace y su fórmula perfecta:
Amor y chocolate.
