Hola Hivers en este post compartiré datos un poco interesantes sobre la película de Barbie, la publicación es libre de spoilers, ademas haré mención de sucesos que acontecieron en torno a la película y también una pequeña opinión sobre ella.

Comienzo mencionando que Barbie tiene un cameo perfecto, Barbara Handler hija de la creadora de Barbie es la inspiracion para el nombre, y en la pelicula la misma Barbara Handler aparece, deben prestar atención.

Barbie ha sido una muñeca de controversias, según un articulo de BuzzFeed News llamado "Why Barbie Best Friends Midge Was Once Removed From Shelves" la aparición de Midge en 1963 como una amiga de Barbie no tuvo criticas y fue bien aceptada hasta que muchos años mas tarde Mattel lanzo su versión de Midge embarazada, esto causo revuelo porque los adultos pensaban que esta muñeca fomentaba el embarazo adolescente, aunque cabe destacar la muñeca era adulta, al rededor de 2002 fue retirada de supermercados por no tener la aceptación de la sociedad y por las múltiples criticas.

En la película ademas de Ken se puede apreciar que esta Allan y este realmente fue un juguete de Mattel, según el articulo de TIME "What to Know About and Allan. the Deepest Cust From the Barbie Movie" este aparecio en 1964 como "Ken´s Buddy" quien era el amigo de Ken, en aquel entonces no tendría mucho éxito y seria descontinuado.

Margort Robie quien interpreta a Barbie no solo es Barbie en la película sino que la compañia que ella fundo con Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara y Sophia Kerr llamada "LuckyChap Entertainment" produjo junto a otras la película Barbie, entonces Margort ademas de actuar también fue parte de la producción llamando así la atención de el rol femenino en la producción. Ademas quien fuese la direcctora es Greta Gerwig, este es un gran paso ya que se abre camino a que las mujeres entren en la industria de dirección cinematográfica, demostrando una vez mas que las mujeres pueden ser quien quieran ser, como lo dice la frase iconica de Barbie.

Otro dato bastante interesante y relevante es que la película se combirtio en la pelicula mas exitosa dirigida por una mujer en su primer fin de semana, el anterior récord lo tenia Capitana Marvel con 153 millones de dolares pero Barbie lo supero con 155 millones de dolares en su primer fin de semana.

Desde mi perspectiva Barbie no es una simple película de muñecas, esta va mas allá de la fantasía, no es solo una película sobre Barbie la muñeca, sino sobre como Barbie se enfrenta a la realidad de un mundo que no es perfecto, donde existe depresión e inseguridades, donde se tiene que encajar en estereotipos de sociedad y no se toma en cuenta las luchas personales, de alguna forma se da un gran mensaje, la perfección no es sinónimo de felicidad, y la felicidad no es igual para todos.

El mensaje en la película es muy profundo, se debe estar bastante concentrado, cada personaje por simple que sea te puede dejar un mensaje, y sin duda el boom de la película y con lo que mas me identifique fue el monologo de Gloria, mas películas como la de Barbie necesita el mundo, cuando las personas hablan de que es una película para adultos realmente es verdad porque el contenido es bastante relevante y hace que entres en reflexión, no es solo una pelicula de una muñeca de Mattel, es como con una película puede dar a entender que las mujeres somos mas que el estereotipo que la sociedad impone, y que nosotras también podemos tener cargos relevantes, no somos un trofeo, también somos una parte muy importante de la sociedad, en la política, en las empresas, en donde sea, merecemos ser quien queramos ser.
