Overview/Resumen
If you had the chance to talk to a loved one for 2 minutes, would you do it, even if it meant danger? This film is about a strange creature that lives in the basement of an old bar, this creature has the power to bring back family and friends of people who have died but only for two minutes, as there will be consequences if the time is exceeded, on the other hand the owner of the bar also has some power over the creature, however it will do its best to get out of its confinement in order to cause chaos in the world.
Si tuvieras la oportunidad de poder hablar con algún ser querido durante 2 minutos, ¿lo harías? ¿aún y cuando esto represente un peligro? Este film trata acerca de una extraña criatura que vive en el sótano de un viejo bar, esta criatura tiene el poder de traer de vuelta a los familiares y amigos de personas que han muerto pero solo por dos minutos, ya que habrá consecuencias si se excede el tiempo, por otra parte el dueño del bar tiene también cierto poder sobre la criatura, no obstante ella hará lo posible por salir de su confinamiento para poder causar el caos en el mundo.

My Opinion/Mi Opinión
First of all I must say that I love horror films, however I always choose to see the same old ones because the terror that this kind of films handle lately is quite questionable, they do not go beyond using a couple of jumpscares and a shocking ending to impress the audience, and this is no exception to the rule, although not everything is bad and that I must make it clear, but I would like to start with the negative aspects and then talk about the good ones. What bothered me about this movie were not the performances, nor the cinematography, there are some plot holes or simply the characters make certain absurd or unjustified decisions that do not make any sense, and this certainly causes a lot of frustration in the viewer.
En primer lugar debo decir que me encantan los films de horror, sin embargo siempre opto por ver los mismos de siempre porque el terror que maneja últimamente este tipo de films es bastante cuestionable, no pasan de usar un par de jumpscares y un final impactante para impresionar a la audiencia, y este no es la excepción a la regla, aunque no todo es malo y eso debo dejarlo en claro, pero me gustaría iniciar con los aspectos negativos para luego hablar de los buenos. Lo que me molestó de esta peli no fueron las actuaciones, ni la fotografía, hay algunos huecos argumentales o simplemente los personajes toman ciertas decisiones absurdas o injustificadas que no tienen el menor sentido, y esto desde luego provoca mucha frustración en el espectador.
On the other hand the ending was disastrous (in my opinion) as it was intended to be shocking, but like almost all current films of this genre it was very predictable, “Evil always triumphs” that seems to be the favorite premise of this type of films now, but I will not say more about it for you to live the experience yourselves.
Por otra parte el final fue desastroso (en mi opinión) ya que pretendía ser impactante, pero al igual que casi todas las películas actuales de este género resultó muy predecible, "El mal siempre triunfa" esa parece ser la premisa predilecta de este tipo de films ahora, pero no diré más al respecto para que ustedes mismos vivan la experiencia.
However, as I said at the beginning of this post, not everything is bad, for example, the main plot is quite interesting and novel, the design of “The Creature” or better said, the specter is mind-blowing, seriously scary, the performances are believable, while the photography employs filters and colors that bring realism and an oppressive atmosphere needed in this kind of films, but unfortunately this atmosphere is broken and replaced by a great feeling of frustration in some occasions, so I think the main plot works more for a videogame than for a movie.
Sin embargo, tal como lo dije al inicio de este post, no todo es malo, por ejemplo, el argumento principal es bastante interesante y novedoso, el diseño de "La criatura" o mejor dicho, el espectro es alucinante, en serio da miedo, las actuaciones son creíbles, mientras que la fotografía emplea filtros y colores que aportan realismo y una atmósfera opresiva necesaria en este tipo de films, pero lamentablemente esta atmósfera se rompe y es reemplazada por un gran sentimiento de frustración en algunas ocasiones, así que creo que el argumento principal funciona más para un videojuego que para una película.
