He de ser franca, hace mucho tiempo que perdí la fe en las películas del universo de DC. La gran mayoría era completamente decepcionante, prometían mucho pero el resultado final era bastante poco. Sin embargo han habido dos películas relativamente recientes que me hace pensar que no todo está perdido. Obviamente no llegan al nivel del universo cinematográfico creado por Marvel, lamentablemente DC no está tan bien estructurado, pero aún así son películas independientes que realmente son grandiosas y le hacen justicia a los cómics.
Hace un tiempo les hablé de Joker, ahora es el turno de The Batman.
I have to be honest, I lost faith in the movies of the DC universe a long time ago. The vast majority were completely disappointing, they promised a lot but the final result was quite little. However, there have been two relatively recent films that make me think that not everything is lost. Obviously they don't reach the level of the cinematic universe created by Marvel, unfortunately DC is not as well structured, but they are still independent films that are really great and do justice to the comics.
A while ago I talked about Joker, now it's The Batman's turn.
Sinopsis | Synopsis
Tenemos a un Batman neófito, apenas un par de años atrás fue que tomó la investidura de justiciero y realmente esto no ha sido de mucho agrado para los ciudadanos de Gotham, menos aún para la policía local. Sin embargo, el joven Bruce tiene en claro su objetivo, la sed de venganza.
Justo en la noche de Halloween ocurre un asesinato. Esto no es demasiado extraño en la ciudad pero en esta ocasión causa un revuelo puesto que la víctima se trata del alcalde. El asesino lejos de mantenerse en el anonimato se identifica como el Acertijo. El Comisario Jim Gordon encuentra una carta del Acertijo que va dirigida a Batman, por lo que éste se involucra en la investigación, a pesar del rechazo del resto de policías que intentan apartarlo.
Pero a partir de ese suceso, Batman descubrirá toda una red de corrupción en Gotham y deberá descifrar quién mueve los hilos de la ciudad
We have a neophyte Batman, just a couple of years ago he took on the role of vigilante and this has not really been very pleasing to the citizens of Gotham, even less so to the local police. However, young Bruce is clear about his objective, his thirst for revenge.
On Halloween night a murder occurs. This is not too weird in the city but on this occasion it causes a stir since the victim is the mayor. The murderer, far from remaining anonymous, is identified as the Riddler. Commissioner Jim Gordon finds a letter from the Riddler that is addressed to Batman, so he gets involved in the investigation despite the rejection of the rest of the police who try to keep him away from it.
But from that event, Batman will discover an entire network of corruption in Gotham and must decipher who pulls the city's strings.
En búsqueda de la venganza | The search for vengeance
Uno de los aspectos que más me gusta de esta película es que plantea a Batman como un principiante. Explora más cómo serían esos primeros años del justiciero y además lo plasman como un hombre de que a pesar de ser increíblemente inteligente sigue siendo un simple humano, por lo tanto puede llegar a cometer errores así como llega a dejarse llevar por sus emociones.
Hablando justamente de emociones, generalmente este superhéroe es visto como el que tiene sed de justicia, uno de los más correctos moralmente. Sin embargo, en esta versión su motivación principal es la venganza, contra los criminales ciertamente pero su moralidad puede llegar a ser cuestionable ya que se torna a veces sanguinario con personas que al fin y al cabo son seres humanos también. Pero la ira lo domina, no llega a matar a ninguno de los villanos pero ganas no le faltan.
One of the aspects I like most about this movie is that it presents Batman as a beginner. It explores more what those first years of the vigilante would be like and also portrays him as a man who, despite being incredibly intelligent, is still a simple human, therefore he can make mistakes as well as get carried away by his emotions.
Speaking precisely of emotions, this superhero is generally seen as the one who thirsts for justice, one of the most morally correct. However, in this version his main motivation is revenge, certainly against criminals but his morality can become questionable since he sometimes becomes bloodthirsty with people who, after all, are human beings too. But anger takes over him, he does not kill any of the villains but he does not lack desire to do so.
La inclusión de personajes como Gatúbela, El Pingüino y sobretodo El Acertijo me pareció una decisión espectacular puesto que les hicieron justicia. Excepto por Gatúbela, en mi opinión las adaptaciones anteriores no habían logrado representar la verdadera esencia de estos personajes puesto que parecían más bien una parodia burlesca. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión los tomaron como villanos verdaderos, con intenciones claras y fundamentadas que poseen un propósito.
En general, el aura de la película es realista y oscura, tocando temas como la corrupción, asesinatos, prostitución, entre otros que le da el toque de seriedad característico de las historias de DC. Aunque creo que a nivel audiovisual se tomaron lo del aura oscura muy en serio, porque hay partes que en serio son tan oscuras que son casi pantallas negras, cuestan mucho de ver😅.
The inclusion of characters like Catwoman, The Penguin and especially The Riddler seemed like a spectacular decision since they did them justice. Except for Catwoman, in my opinion the previous adaptations had failed to represent the true essence of these characters since they seemed more like a burlesque parody. However, this time they were taken as true villains, with clear and well-founded intentions that have a purpose.
In general, the aura of the film is realistic and dark, touching on themes such as corruption, murder, prostitution, among others, which gives it the touch of seriousness characteristic of DC stories. Although I think that at an audiovisual level they took the dark aura very seriously, because there are parts that are seriously so dark that they are almost black screens, they are very difficult to see😅.
Siendo el Acertijo el villano principal, la trama mantiene el misterio muy bien estructurado y constante hasta su clímax, por lo que la película es entretenida. El tiempo se pasa bastante rápido y quedas con ganas de seguir viendo más de la historia. Esto es gracias a un muy buen guión aparte del factor más importante que son las actuaciones.
No pudieron escoger mejores actores que Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Zoë Kravitz y por supuesto, Robert Pattinson. Todos hicieron un trabajo fantástico interpretando sus personajes que parece como si realmente tuvieran esas personalidades. Una de mis favoritas fue Zoë que debo admitir que al menos a mi parecer superó la Gatúbela de Anne Hathaway. Su actuación fue la representación perfecta de la sensualidad, tenacidad y fiereza del personaje.
With the Riddler being the main villain, the plot keeps the mystery very well structured and constant until its climax, making the film entertaining. Time goes by quite quickly and you are left wanting to continue seeing more of the story. This is thanks to a very good script apart from the most important factor which is the performances.
They couldn't have chosen better actors than Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Zoë Kravitz and of course, Robert Pattinson. They all did such a fantastic job playing their characters that it seems like they really had those personalities. One of my favorites was Zoë who I must admit that at least in my opinion she surpassed Anne Hathaway's Catwoman. Her performance was the perfect representation of the sensuality, tenacity and fierceness of the character.
Aunque quien realmente se roba el espectáculo es Robert Pattinson, quien interpreta no solo a Batman sino también a Bruce Wayne, es decir, en otras adaptaciones vemos mucho del superhéroe pero su faceta más humana queda de lado, no se le da tanta importancia. Sin embargo, en esta película es lo principal puesto que vemos sus deseos más internos así como esa parte de sí mismo que no es tan moralmente correcta como mencionaba antes. Quiere justicia pero también quiere venganza, por lo que se encuentra en esa crisis existencial de descubrir quién es realmente y qué desea conseguir.
Pattinson representa esto brillantemente con cada expresión, cada movimiento e incluso con la forma de decir sus líneas del guión. Su actuación fue realmente fenomenal. No me atrevería a decir que es el mejor Batman, ese título para mí lo sigue teniendo Christian Bale, pero Robert es sin duda alguna el segundo lugar.
Although the one who really steals the show is Robert Pattinson, who plays not only Batman but also Bruce Wayne, that is, in other adaptations we see a lot of the superhero but his most human side is left aside, he is not given as much importance. However, in this film he is the main thing since we see his innermost desires as well as that part of himself that is not as morally correct as I mentioned before. He wants justice but he also wants revenge, so he finds himself in that existential crisis of discovering who he really is and what he wants to achieve.
Pattinson portrays this brilliantly with every expression, every movement, and even the way he delivers his lines. His performance was truly phenomenal. I wouldn't dare say that he is the best Batman, that title for me is still held by Christian Bale, but Robert is without a doubt the second place.
Así que si te gusta este superhéroe y las historias con un tono más serio y realista, Batman es la mejor opción para ver. Y si como yo eres fan de DC y quieres ver algo realmente bien hecho, esta película será tu salvación
So if you like this superhero and stories with a more serious and realistic tone, Batman is the best option to watch. And if like me you are a fan of DC and want to see something really well done, this movie will be your salvation
My first impression of this one is an "ok" movie. But then when I watched it it was actually good. Robert Pattinson brings a breath of fresh air to the Batman franchise.
I totally agree. At first I didn't had much expectations about it but Robert nailed it with that performance. It was great.

This is one of the super heroes that I like, his superpower and his intelligence and money. I liked this version, I hope they make the sequel.
This is one of my favorite superheroes too. Mainly because he's only human in the end.

Saludos amiga, esta película me gusto bastante y fue una gran producción, donde la manera como armaron la trama y colocaron cada efecto es increíble, además con esta película la franquicia de Dc logró un buen impacto, puesto que sus películas últimamente no han sido lo mejor y siempre tiene el mismo formato. Además la presencia de grandes actores fue impresionante, puesto cada uno logro meterse en el papel y aporta mucho valor a la trama. Ahora queda seguir disfrutando y ver qué pasará con esta saga y la franquicia. Excelente.
Estoy muy de acuerdo contigo. Esta película le dió un nuevo aire a DC (junto con Joker) que hacen tener esperanzas en su futuro cinematográfico. Todas las decisiones desde el casting hasta el guión fueron acertadas, la representación perfecta de este superhéroe y sus historias.
También espero ver la secuela y el futuro de DC.

Siempre he Sido un amante de Batman y he apreciado la mayoría de sus películas (Los clásicos de Burton, la trilogía de Nolan e incluso un par de películas animadas), aún así, creo que nunca he sentido pasión por una de ellas tanto como The Batman, es una sintetización perfecta del mito del personaje a la gran pantalla, claramente inspirada por thrillers como Seven pero capaz de entremezclar este contexto muy bien con la mitología del personaje.
¡Totalmente! Los elementos del thriller creo que son los que compaginan mejor con este superhéroe y sin duda el director lo supo aprovechar. Es una de las mejores películas de Batman que hay hasta ahora.

Para mí fue una película que disfruté bastante sobre todo por la trama tan oscura que va mucho más allá que la trilogía de Christopher nolan.
El toque de seriedad es el mejor para hablar de Batman, creo que es el que mejor le queda.
