Hace un tiempo les había comentado que estaba viendo la serie Dexter e incluso les compartí mis impresiones al respecto, en ese momento solo había visto 2 temporadas y estaba encantada con como transcurrían las cosas entonces, y ahora que he terminado con la serie quiero hablarles sobre mis impresiones sobre el resto de ella, pero antes de comenzar debo decir que ha sido una de las mejores series que he visto y si ustedes no lo han hecho les recomiendo que lo hagan, pero en fin, a lo que vine, y por cierto, aunque es una serie ya un poco vieja no les haré spoilers, solo hablaré de manera personal lo mucho que me gustó y lo que me pareció la serie en general, espero que sea de su agrado, sin más, ¡comencemos!
A while ago I had told you that I was watching the series Dexter and I even shared my impressions about it, at that time I had only seen 2 seasons and I was delighted with how things were going then, and now that I have finished with the series series I want to talk about my impressions of the rest of it, but before starting I must say that it has been one of the best series I have seen and if you have not done it I recommend that you do, but anyway, what I came to , and by the way, although it is a somewhat old series, I will not give you spoilers, I will only speak personally how much I liked it and what I thought of the series in general, I hope you like it, without further ado, let's begin!!
Al igual que lo dije la primera vez en esta ocasión lo recalcaré, esta serie es increíble y es sin duda una de las mejores que he visto (y he visto muchísimas), pues a pesar de que Dexter, nuestro protagonista es un asesino en serie a medida que avanza la trama vamos desarrollando una especie de cariño hacia a él, llegando al punto de defenderlo de situaciones donde claramente es el malo pero que por cuestiones de la historia y del mismo cariño hacia este personaje queremos que le salgan bien, y queremos que sea él quien se salga con la suya aun sabiendo que hace mal.
As I said the first time, this time I will emphasize it, this series is incredible and it is undoubtedly one of the best I have seen (and I have seen many), because despite the fact that Dexter, our protagonist is a serial killer as the plot progresses we develop a kind of affection towards him, reaching the point of defending him from situations where he is clearly the bad guy but for reasons of history and the same affection towards this character we want them to come out well, and we want him to be the one to get away with it even knowing that he is doing wrong.
Durante el trascurso de toda la serie a Dexter se le presentan un sinfín de situaciones y a mi parecer no todas las sabe manejar, más que controlarlas más bien actúa sobre la marcha, al principio era un asesino muy meticuloso que cuidaba cada detalle sobre sus víctimas y sus escenas del crimen pero con el tiempo se va volviendo descuidado y en un punto lo consideré hasta torpe y eso como espectadora me causaba una especie de ansiedad por lo mal que hacia las cosas, sentí que ya a partir de las últimas temporadas la tensión en la serie aumentaba por la manera en cómo se iban dando las cosas y fue cuando comencé a hacerme una pregunta de manera recurrente, la cual estoy segura que quienes vieron la serie también se la hicieron, ¿Lo atraparán en algún momento o se saldrá con la suya como siempre?
Muchos sucesos cambiaron la vida de Dexter que en su mayoría fueron provocados por el mismo y los errores cometidos en sus acciones pero al menos yo pienso que de no haber sido así se habría evitado muchos problemas, lo que significa que la serie habría sido muy aburrida y poco emocionante, en cierta forma a mi parecer todas esas situaciones fueron “formando a Dexter” llevándolo hacia el final que tuvo que al menos a mí me pareció un tanto triste, pero que quizás fue lo mejor.
During the course of the entire series, Dexter is presented with endless situations and in my opinion he does not know how to handle them all, rather than controlling them, he acts on the fly, at first he was a very meticulous murderer who took care of every detail about his victims and his crime scenes but over time he becomes careless and at one point I considered him clumsy and that as a spectator caused me a kind of anxiety because of how bad things were, I felt that from the last few seasons the tension in the series increased due to the way things were happening and that was when I began to ask myself a question on a recurring basis, which I am sure that those who watched the series also asked, will they catch him at some point or Will he get away with it as usual?
Many events changed the life of Dexter, which were mostly caused by himself and the mistakes made in his actions, but at least I think that if it hadn't been like that, many problems would have been avoided, which means that the series It would have been very boring and unexciting, in a way, in my opinion, all those situations were "forming Dexter" leading him towards the end that he had, which at least seemed a bit sad to me, but perhaps it was for the best .
A medida que la serie va llegando a su final se van descubriendo partes de la vida pasada de Dexter que incluso él no sabía, aprendemos de sus inicios y su transformación en asesino lo que en lo personal me dejó sin palabras al descubrir esa parte de la historia, las cosas se van cerrando y la tensión va en aumento, ¿Qué más queda? ¿Qué va a pasar? Y una vez que llega el tan esperado capítulo final comenzamos a obtener respuestas y aunque desde hace rato nos pintan como supuestamente van a quedar las cosas terminan de una manera completamente diferente y eso para mí fue una decepción porque después de todo esperaba algo mejor, al menos para el resto de los personajes, así que en lo personal puedo decir que el final de serie me dejó con un amargo sabor de boca y muchas preguntas tras lo que considero fue un final abierto a la espera de nuevos sucesos.
En general la serie me gustó mucho, como ya mencioné el principio es de las mejores que he visto, la historia es buena al igual que los sucesos, ciertamente hay partes que te dejan sin aliento como el final de la temporada 4, donde recuerdo la peor y más triste de las escenas en la serie que me dejó sin dormir toda una noche, sin duda esto es parte de lo que implica ver una serie de este tipo y aunque me cayó mal ese suceso eso solo me hizo darme cuenta de lo buena que era la serie. No pude evitar sentir nostalgia al recordar momentos pasados de la serie cuando ya estaba terminando, era momento de aceptar el final y la mejor parte de todo es que pude marcar esta serie como una más de mi lista de series terminadas.
As the series is coming to an end, parts of **Dexter's past life are discovered that even he didn't know, we learn about his beginnings and his transformation into a murderer which personally left me speechless to discover that part of the story, things are closing and the tension is increasing, what else is left? What is going to happen? And once the long-awaited final chapter arrives, we begin to get answers and although for a while we have been told how things are supposed to turn out, things end in a completely different way and that was disappointing for me because after all I expected something better, at less for the rest of the characters, so personally I can say that the end of the series left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and many questions after what I consider was an open ending waiting for new events.
In general I liked the series a lot, as I already mentioned the beginning is one of the best I've seen, the story is good as are the events, certainly there are parts that leave you breathless like the end of season 4, where I remember the worst and saddest of the scenes in the series that left me without sleep for a whole night, without a doubt this is part of what it means to see a series of this type and although I did not like that event that only made me realize how good which was the series I couldn't help feeling nostalgic when I remembered past moments of the series when it was ending, it was time to accept the end and the best part of all is that I was able to mark this series as one more on my list of finished series.

Amiga he visto partes pero nunca he visto un capítulo completo, pues no son el tipo de series que llama mi atención , aún así suena interesante, la próxima le prestaré más atencion a ver qué tal.

This is one of my favorite series though I didn't particularly like how it ended. I have not watched Dexter: New Blood yet.
I didn't really like the series either but I liked its ending. I just finished it I saw Dexter new blood, I hope you can see it
