El eterno resplandor de una mente sin recuerdos (2004) - Lo que es para ti, ni aunque te quites del camino
Esta película recuerdo verla la primera vez con mis amigas en esas tardes de películas que hacíamos, esta la elegimos porque mi mejor amiga de ese entonces, ya que era su película favorita y nos prometió llorar al verla.
Cabe destacar que en ese tiempo no lloraba con tanta facilidad al ver una película así que esto no ocurrió jaja pero si es una película más profunda de lo que parece.
Y es que al ver a Jim Carrey pocas veces lo relacionamos con una película un poco más seria, pero al igual que Adam Sandler a lo largo de su carrera nos ha demostrado que todo lo que hacen, lo hacen bien, que son buenos actores y podemos verlos en cualquier otro tipo de películas. Otra de las que también me gusta es ** The Truman Show: historia de una vida** que nos da un mensaje mas profundo con una satira al crudo mundo que suele existir detras de cada pelicula.
En esta nos muestran la historia de Joel y Clementine quienes parecen ser la pareja perfecta, pero termina separándose por no saber llevar los problemas cotidianos de una relación, hasta llegar al punto de que Clementine desee borrarse la memoria, o mejor dicho, borrar a Joel de sus recuerdos para eliminar el dolor que la ruptura le dejó (obviamente esto en este contexto es posible, ya que vemos una clínica especializada en el borrado de memoria) Así que Clementine decide hacerlo, cuando Joel se pone en contacto con ella, piensa que ella simplemente fingió no conocerlo y queda devastado, luego ve una carta que envía la misma empresa dándole la noticia que esa persona decidió eliminarlo de la vida a tal punto de borrar su memoria.
Joel decide hacer lo mismo, sin recuerdos no hay dolor, pero en el proceso se arrepiente, prefiere vivir con el dolor de lo tenerla en su vida, que borrar todos sus recuerdos, pero todo su esfuerzo por evitar desaparecerla de su vida es en vano y terminan borrando su memoria.
Es ahí cuando de la nada, un día que iba al trabajo, decide cambiar su ruta y termina encontrándose con Clementine en un tren, ambos sienten atracción, ella es una chica bastante llamativa con cabello de colores y sudadera fluorescente naranja, el bastante callado y serio, pero algo los hace tener otra primera vez al conocerse, tal cual como les sucedió, mostrando así que estaban destinados estar el uno para el otro.
La película es de esas que debes prestarle atención a cada detalle, algo fundamental es el cabello de esta chica, el cual usa tintes dependiendo de su etapa de crecimiento personal, esto también te ayuda a distinguir qué etapa de la relación están viviendo, la primera vez que la vi, me costó mucho entenderla, pero luego de verla con una mentalidad más madura, me doy cuenta la joya de película que es, nos muestras una relación romántica más realista, esas de que se aman y se odian, de que a veces solo quisieran olvidarse pero que el destino los une porque simplemente son el uno para el otro.

I remember seeing this movie for the first time with my friends on those movie afternoons we used to watch. We chose this one because my best friend at the time, since it was her favorite movie, she promised to cry when she saw it.
It should be noted that at that time I did not cry so easily when watching a movie so this did not happen haha but it is a deeper movie than it seems.
And when we see Jim Carrey we rarely associate him with a slightly more serious film, but like Adam Sandler throughout his career he has shown us that everything they do, they do well, that they are good actors and We can see them in any other type of movies. Another one that I also like is The Truman Show: story of a life which gives us a deeper message with a satire of the crude world that usually exists behind each movie.
In this they show us the story of Joel and Clementine who seem to be the perfect couple, but end up separating due to not knowing how to deal with the daily problems of a relationship, until reaching the point where Clementine wants to erase her memory, or rather, erase Joel from her memories to eliminate the pain that the breakup left her (obviously this in this context is possible, since we see a clinic specialized in memory erasure) So Clementine decides to do it , when Joel contacts her, he thinks that she simply pretended not to know him and is devastated, then he sees a letter sent by the same company giving him the news that that person decided to eliminate him from life to the point of erasing his memory.
Joel decides to do the same, without memories there is no pain, but in the process he regrets it, he prefers to live with the pain of having her in his life than to erase all his memories, but all his effort to avoid disappearing her from his life is in vain. and they end up erasing their memory.
That's when out of nowhere, one day when he was going to work, he decides to change his route and ends up meeting Clementine on a train, they both feel attraction, she is a quite striking girl with colored hair and a fluorescent orange sweatshirt, he is quite quiet and serious, but something makes them have another first time when they meet, just as it happened to them, thus showing that they were meant to be for each other.
The film is one of those that you must pay attention to every detail, something fundamental is this girl's hair, which uses dyes depending on her stage of personal growth, this also helps you distinguish what stage of the relationship they are living, the first time I saw it, it was very difficult for me to understand it, but after seeing it with a more mature mentality, I realize what a gem of a movie it is, you show us a more realistic romantic relationship, those where they love and hate each other, that Sometimes they would just like to forget each other but that destiny brings them together because they are simply made for each other.
Hace un montón que no veo esta película, pero sí me parece muy buena y la verdad es que me encanta todo este rollo del destino y lo que es para uno así será. Tendría que echarle una mirada para ver qué tal me parece ahora.
