Hablemos de: Grey’s Anatomy- ¿como se mantiene una serie luego de tantas temporadas?
Desde que comencé a trabajar en mis tiempos libres comencé a ver Grey’s Anatomy nunca la había visto pero si tenía más o menos una idea de que trataba, a demás que siempre me salían esos clips en tik tok de “casos que te harán llorar de Grey’s Anatomy” así que decidí verla, me engancho desde el primer capítulo así que al día de hoy voy en la temporada 17, ya quedan unas pocas para “terminarla” o llegar al día, así que como tengo todo fresco quiero contarles que me ha gustado y que no.
Para nadie es un secreto que las series cuando son tan largas empiezan a decaer y se pierde su esencia inicial, porque no puedes hacer 19 temporadas con la misma dinámica y pienso que es casi imposible que todas sus temporadas sean buenas, pero lo son por lo menos para sus fans más fieles y eso es lo que las mantienen al aire.
En mi caso todas me han gustado pero a medida que van avanzando y los personajes con los que nos enamoramos se van, empiezas a perderle tanto amor y ya cada vez no me engancha lo suficiente como las primeras. Me molesta que muchos personajes vienen y van como si nada, como si su muerte fuera tan fácil o como si alguien simplemente se fuera del estado dejando todo por un capricho cambiando los ideales y el crecimiento que tuvo cada personaje a lo largo de su aparición en la serie.
Así tal como pasó con Alex Karev yo amé este personaje y su perfecta evolución que tuvo, fue increíble, pero con un final muy dudoso, fue un personaje que por más que sintió la necesidad de huir no lo hizo, para al final abandonar todo y a SU ESPOSA que tanto amaba por Izzie y sus hijos, (como saben a Izzie la sacaron de la serie huyendo igual y resulta que como tenía cancer y ella dejó sus ovulos fertilizados con Alex, ya que después del cancer sabía que no podría tener hijos, así que cuando ella decidio huir él le dio poder para hacer lo que quisiera con sus “hijos” y ella cansada de estar sola los tuvo) entonces me molestó mucho ese final para ese personaje tan increíblemente, porque si lo hizo todo por sus hijos, pero a Jo la dejo sin importar nada.
Por otro lado está la salida de Cristina que para mi si lo hicieron en el momento Justo, fue un personaje que desde el comienzo se notó su personalidad y nunca cambió, menos mal que nunca la hicieron tener hijos porque dañaban su personalidad y su percepción por completo, así que el cierra de ella fue tal cual el final que ese personaje merecía. Eso era lo que me hubiera gustado ver con Alex Karev.
Siguiendo con la trama, pasó de ser una serie bastante informativa y explícita con los casos de emergencias y casos fuertes que llegaban a este hospital y pasó a ser una trama de romance de todos con todos, de quien tiene más poder, de repartir las acciones del hospital como si nada y de que los personajes que si siento que se tienen que ir aún no se van, tengo entendido que Grey la protagonista ya se retirará en la temporada 19 y pienso que si es así, ya debería tener un final, porque estoy segura que no hay nada más nuevo que contar, lo único que les cambio la trama totalmente fue la aparición del COVID-19 (lo cual es algo raro de ver, o sea, se siente raro ver en una serie lo frustrante que fue esa época) pero de resto ya estaba muy repetitiva, pasaba lo mismo con cada personaje nuevo y cuando ya no sabían como exprimirlos más (o ellos no querían continuar) los mataban o se iban con excusas tontas.
Se que pareciera que esta serie no me gusta, pero solo estoy siento objetiva y no dejarme cegar por el cariño que ahora le tengo a esta serie jaja porque me encanta pero como todo tiene sus errores y entre más larga es, esto se hace más notorio.

It's no secret to anyone that when series are so long they begin to decline and their initial essence is lost, because you can't do 19 seasons with the same dynamic and I think it's almost impossible for all of the seasons to be good, but they are for the most part. less for their most loyal fans and that is what keeps them on the air.
In my case I liked them all but as they progress and the characters we fell in love with leave, you start to lose so much love for them and each time they don't hook me as much as the first ones. It bothers me that many characters come and go as if nothing had happened, as if their death were so easy or as if someone simply left the state, leaving everything on a whim, changing the ideals and growth that each character had throughout their appearance in the Serie.
Just as it happened with Alex Karev, I loved this character and his perfect evolution, it was incredible, but with a very dubious ending, he was a character who, no matter how much he felt the need to flee, did not do so, to the end final abandon everything and HIS WIFE that he loved so much for Izzie and his children, (as you know Izzie was taken out of the series by running away anyway and it turns out that since she had cancer and she left her fertilized eggs with Alex, since after the cancer she knew that she couldn't could have children, so when she decided to run away he gave her power to do whatever she wanted with her “children” and she, tired of being alone, had them) so that ending for that character so incredibly bothered me a lot, because if she did it all for his children, but he left Jo no matter what.
On the other hand, there is Cristina's departure, which for me was done at the right time. She was a character whose personality was noticeable from the beginning and never changed, thank goodness they never made her have children because they damaged her personality and her perception. complete, so her ending was just like the ending that character deserved. That's what I would have liked to see with Alex Karev.
Continuing with the plot, it went from being a fairly informative and explicit series with the emergency cases and strong cases that came to this hospital and became a romance plot of everyone with everyone, of who has more power, of distributing the shares from the hospital as if nothing had happened and that the characters that I feel have to leave have not left yet, I understand that Grey, the protagonist, will retire in season 19 and I think that if so, it should already have an ending, because I'm sure there is nothing more new to tell, the only thing that changed the plot completely was the appearance of COVID-19 (which is something strange to see, I mean, it feels strange to see in a series the frustrating that time was) but for the rest it was already very repetitive, the same thing happened with each new character and when they no longer knew how to get more out of them (or they didn't want to continue) they killed them or left with stupid excuses.
I know it seems like I don't like this series, but I'm just feeling objective and not letting myself be blinded by the affection I now have for this series haha because I love it but like everything has its mistakes and the longer it is, the more it becomes. notorious.
