Palm Springs(2020) - una comedia romántica algo diferente

Nyles y Sarah quedan atrapados en el tiempo en un bucle temporal del que solo ellos notan, poco a poco se van enamorando y conociendo más mientras día a día se les repite el día de la boda de uno de sus familiares.
Esta película la comenzamos a ver sin tener la mínima idea de que trataba, mi hermano nos la puso uno de esos días que estábamos haciendo noche de películas y esa fue su opción.
Por obvias razones no estábamos entendiendo nada jaja pero si nos termino gustando.
La película empieza con Nyles alguien que se ve súper despreocupado, están a punto de ir a una boda y este parece vivir como en otro planeta, solo bebiendo y bebiendo, en eso se topa con Sarah, en su intento de seducirla, Nyles es herido y entra a una cueva misteriosa, Sarah por ayudarlo entra también, esto ocasiona que el día vuelva a repetirse.
Resulta que al entrar en esta cueva, ahora Sarah también está en este bucle temporal, por lo que mientras intenta adaptarse y entender que está pasando, pasa todos los días con Nyles y se terminan enamorado. Pero no solamente ellos están repitiendo ese día, también Roy que es el villano de esta película, quien también fue llevado a la cueva por Nyles.
Cuando todo andaba aparentemente bien y estaban resignados a seguir viviendo por toda su vida el mismo día (ya que nunca podían morir porque simplemente todo se reinicia) Sarah luego de una discusión con Nyles busca la forma de salir.
En lo personal esta película me gusto bastante, al principio puede parecer una película de romance y comedia muy cliché pero da unos increíbles giros de trama que te dejan sorprendido, a demás por más que la idea de los bucles temporales no sea algo innovador, esta película maneja muy bien estos temas de manera que no se vuelva aburrido.
Las actuaciones son excelentes, logras conectar con los personajes y con la trama; las escenas y colores de la película son bastante llamativos y eso me gusta mucho, las subtramas son bastante lógicas y no cambian el enfoque principal de la película.
Es una película que sin duda vale la pena ver, aunque hay que ser sinceros, es una película más dominguera que una película memorable para ver miles de veces como con algunas que nos llegamos a encaprichar y la vemos cuantas veces podamos.
El final estuvo muy bueno, en especial por cómo salieron de este bucle, pero si me dejo muchas dudas por parte de Roy, que si quedo aún en ese bucle (por cierto, el desarrollo de ese personaje aunque fue poco igual me gustó). Así que yo esta vez le doy a esta película un 8,5/10⭐️

Nyles and Sarah are trapped in time in a time loop that only they notice, little by little they fall in love and get to know each other more while day by day the wedding day of one of their relatives is repeated.
We started watching this movie without having the slightest idea what it was about, my brother played it for us one of those days when we were having a movie night and that was his choice.
For obvious reasons we were not understanding anything haha but we ended up liking it.
The film begins with Nyles someone who looks super carefree, they are about to go to a wedding and he seems to live like on another planet, just drinking and drinking, in that he runs into Sarah, in his attempt to seduce her, Nyles He is wounded and enters a mysterious cave, Sarah enters too for helping him, this causes the day to repeat itself.
It turns out that by entering this cave, now Sarah is also in this time loop, so while she tries to adjust and understand what is happening, she spends every day with Nyles and they end up in love. But not only they are repeating that day, also Roy who is the villain of this movie, who was also taken to the cave by Nyles.
When everything was apparently fine and they were resigned to continue living the same day for their entire lives (since they could never die because everything simply resets), Sarah after an argument with Nyles looks for a way out.
Personally, I really liked this film, at first it may seem like a very cliché romance and comedy film but it gives some incredible plot twists that leave you surprised, and even though the idea of time loops is not something innovative, this movie handles these issues very well so it doesn't get boring.
The performances are excellent, you manage to connect with the characters and the plot; the scenes and colors of the movie are quite striking and I like that a lot, the subplots are quite logical and don't change the main focus of the movie.
It is a film that is undoubtedly worth seeing, although we must be honest, it is a more Sunday film than a memorable film to see thousands of times as with some that we become infatuated with and we see it as many times as we can.
The ending was very good, especially because of how they got out of this loop, but it did leave me with a lot of doubts on Roy's part, that I was still in that loop (by the way, the development of that character, although it was little, I still liked). So this time I give this movie an 8.5/10⭐️
"Palm Springs" es una de las mejores películas que ví en el 2020, posiblemente de las mejores comedias románticas que he visto en dónde el género de comedia y lo de estar atrapados en un loop temporal la hace mucho mejor; excelente historia sobre zona de confort y aprovechar segundas oportunidades y ojo, con respecto a si regresaron o su linea temporal posiblemente sea algo que no quedo completamente resuelto, solo que sus personajes parecen dejar su pasado atrás y vivir un nuevo y diferente día.
Con respecto a Roy, no sé si usted vio la escena post-creditos.
Si, por eso mismo es que siento que ahora él quedó nuevamente solo en ese bule temporal
