My Idea For 28 Days Later Sequel

My idea for 28 Days Later sequel was a two-parter.
In the first one - Jim is a part of the group of survivors. The time went on. People still remember the past and they are still afraid of infected ones. The locals are not happy with military It's a political movie with depressing undertones. At the beginning of the film, we learn that Jim has family. The film goes on and it All ends in a big fire sequence in which Jim's family dies by Infected. Filled with regret, he decides to go to London to commit suicide/do "Leaving Las Vegas".
The second and final film starts with 2002. It explores the animal activst organization from the beginning of the first movie. The prologue ends with the rest of organization getting killed in a brutal way. Then we go back to Jim, he ended up joining military with the New name (taking the name of his dead son and last name of Brandon Glesson's character). He Goes with them to London and Goes on patrols, killing a few of infected groups.
In the meantime we see dreams of Jim's in which we learn what happened to the rest of the characters in the first movie (they died around 2004, killed by infected while they tried to stand on night guard, Jim wasn't there and that's why he developed some problems with sleeping and alcoholism, which were showed in the Part One, but were mostly implied, as his family was something that helped clearing his mind). In the end, Jim starts a rebelion and decides to burn Infected London down. He develops trauma and slowly descendes into Madness, even dreaming about killing himself in 2002, so that he would not live in this world.
The attack finally happens and leads to a huge action horror setpiece in which Jim sees a family getting eaten alive, bringing up his trauma, as he tries to fix his thoughts, he sees the memories of the original film, he begins to wonder nowhere, filled with grief and regret. He ends up near some shore and in the end
He ends up looking at the sea, crying, but he accepted the truth. He hears his son's laugh and smiles.
But we see that One infected is coming for him, but he doesn't care. He knows that this is when he'll meet everyone he loved, at least that's what he hopes for.
