π»ππ πΊπππππ πΊπππππ π°π "π«πππππ πΊππππ" Series Review
I just concluded this series and even before I did, I had this title in mind as I couldn't help but feel that they actually got me with those slumps in the storyline. It was expected that the characters would have to face a lot of downfalls as the title seem to have revealed but not how those falls will go.
You know that relief that feel after a difficult problem is solved, I felt that relieved when the series came to an end with a happy ending.
No recommendation was given to me for this series but I wanted to see it because of the lead characters, Park Shin-hye from a few series I've seen like "The Heirs", "You Are Beautiful", "Heartstrings and one other I can't remember the title now. There's also the male lead character, Park Hyung-Sik from the popular series "Strong woman bong-soon" and a few others.
These series I've mentioned all stood for me because of this two characters and so, I didn't hesitate to see this recent series starring them together especially with the fact that Park Shin-hye is married in reality now. I had high expectations for this series. I won't say my expectations were not met but not as much as I wanted.
"Doctor Slump" is a 16 episode Korean drama released early this year and has it's scenes set in house on a rooftop with characters who work in the medical field. I'll share a bit of the storyline and go straight to the slumpy scenes you should look forward to if you decide to see the series.
The movie is about two doctors who were once rivals during high school, became friends again at a time they were at their worst in life. Both finding comfort with each other, began to develop feelings for each other as they find ways to get themselves back up from their Slump.
Some notable slumpy scenes in the series.
The first time they met after their rivalry story in school, a time when they felt their worse as the lady had discovered she is depressed and the guy figured he's alone in the whole fall he is experiencing.
Another scene is where they decided to go drink together even though they emphasized that they were still rivals and they cried their eyes out together to regret the next morning.
How they both keep falling hard after a small sign of hope would get any viewer feeling emotional about their life. The lady resigns from her job after all the hard work she had put in and the guy keeps losing in his court case to vindicate himself.
The scenes where the guy relied on the mother of the lady, the time when they talked about sad pasts and the reveal of the guy's personal life before he met the lady, all that were a whole lot of different slumpy stories to make the whole storyline complete.
Of course, there are more scenes with more slump stories but I'll stop here and hope that you'll see the series for yourself. Before I'll stop typing, it wouldn't be fair to not mention anything about the supporting characters.
Like I would always say, supporting characters sometimes are my favourite in a series. Even though I fell in love with the rad characters from the start in this series, I must say the supporting character did catch my attention with their roles.
Special mentions goes to the brother of the female lead for his brotherly touches to the storyline and the friend to the male lead whose words never matched his actions or his heart. The villain in this series did well with his role but there are way more evil villains than this one and I guess the storyline didn't call for such.
Over all, the series is a 8/10 for me and it is a little bias because I'm a huge fan of the lead characters but let me know what you think about the series if you should see it.

I think the storyline is quite simple and they tried to showed the simplicity in better ways. I didn't watch it but I feel the simple storyline seems interesting.
