πΊππππ πΊπππππ-π―πππππ πΉππππππ: "She Would Never Know" Series Review
Even after seeing the series, I'm still wondering why the title says "She Would Never Know" but I'm guessing it has to do with the early episodes where there was an unrequited love before the other party got aware of it. But that's on a very light note because this series right here was very much worth the time I spent seeing it.
She Would Never Know" is a 16 episode Korean series released in the year 2021 starring Chae Hyun Seung (Kim Ro-Woon) and Yoon Song Ah (Won Jin-ah). I've seen Ro-Woon in other really good series like "Destined With You", "Extraordinary You" and "Tomorrow" so it wasn't hard deciding to see this one. I've only seen Jin-ah once in "A Year's End Medley" which was short and good too.
Both feature in this series as Sunbae and Hoobae, Song Ah is a senior to Hyun Seung in their work place and Hyun Seung has an unrequited love towards his sunbae. I bet you could picture difficult moments for this kind of love to work.
After finding out that his sunbae is in relationship, he decided to give up on his love for her but just right about then, he finds out she was being cheated on and would get heartbroken if he doesn't step in to let her know soon enough. Struggling to overcome the unexpected news of her boyfriend, Song Ah leans in to her hoobae and they both find love with each other.
What troubles they both had to face for their love to win? What about the hoobae's elder sisters?
These are like the main aspects of the series if you get to see it.
I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks about this series this way... I mean, it's about a guy who is below a lady in the work experience and they made that guy have two elder sisters who loves him so much and he could tell them anything. I feel the writer took so much details into consideration which made the series more interesting to see.
The series also shows us the world of cosmetics and how some things work in the industry as our lead characters are very passionate about their work life. There is also the office romance touch on this one, in a very cute way that you could catch yourself blushing to some scenes lol.
No thrillers, no much comedy but the choreography and osts are well applied to give more beautiful experience for viewers.
The lead characters combination was what drew me in and I was actually curious to see how the love between them would develop. The Sunbae-Hoobae relationship which means senior-junior relationship was so well played out.
I've been more keen on chemistries between lead characters and they did a great job on that aspect, especially with the Sunbae-Hoobae tag on it. It was new and refreshing to see, and I think the female lead was the perfect face for her role... Innocently cute just right for the cute hoobae.
I could say more about the series but I'll stop and recommend that you check it out. I gave it a good rating on Moviebox (8/10) and I like that it ended well as expected hehe.
