π»ππππππππππ πΊπππππ, π¨ π»πππ π³πππ'π πΊππππ - "I Still Believe" Movie Review
I don't seem to get what it is with these movies where the end isn't a happy one but I can't hate them for that, I actually find them being realistic and fulfilling to see.
Movies like "Midnight Sun", "The fault in our stars", "A walk to remember", "The Inbetween", "Five feet apart" and a few others like that I've seen ends with some tragedy and this movie "I Still Believe" is no different but there's one thing with all of them that I find so memorable.
The emotions they give to their viewers, some of the storyline were inspired by true life events and some were not but somehow they gave same feeling or is it the characters doing a great job?
I Still Believe, is a movie based on an inspiring true life's story. I can't remember getting any recommendation on this movie but I'm so glad I found it and saw it some days ago, it is one of those movies you'd wind up to after long series or too active day. The movie is an hour and some minutes long but with a lot of tearjerking scenes that left memorable thoughts in my head.
Maybe seeing that it was based on a true life's story contributed in why I don't find the tragedy in it but actually love that it didn't end any more tragic than it did.
The movie is about a young guy, Jeremy Camp who leaves home for college, he is a musician and a song writer who gets in contact with someone that helps him present his songs on stage at different places. On one of his stage performance, he meets a girl who he fell in love with at first sight seeing how connected she was to the spiritual songs being sang.
It turned out the lady was tested to have ovarian cancer which would take her life in few months time.
Normally or logically, anyone wouldn't want to get into such an uncertain situation but Jeremy Camp did with faith and love, believing that the love of his life would miraculously heal especially with his music and the prayers of those who believe in God.
How the cancer got heal gave her a new name, Miracle.
Even I felt the rushing emotions in those scenes and like it played out in the movie, the miracle happened for more people to believe in the God they served, so spiritual.
The cancer came back after their early marriage and the scenes after that left me in awe of what seem like it was the first time I was seeing a thing like that.
I like that they showed the man who experienced all of the story told in the movie, the real Jeremy Camp and his family. Talk about "Still believing" even when the odds are against you but I like what the sick girl said in one of the scenes.
If my death will change one person's life then it is worth it.
So emotional and deep, the theme song "I Still Believe" sang by Jeremy Camp was also featured as in the trailer I shared, making the whole story feel even more emotional than shown. I'm highly recommending this movie for you to see, not a happy one but it did gave realistic ending and I think that is worth seeing. 8/10

Awwn π₯Ί, this is really so emotional and encouraging. It's so amazing how Jeremy Camp was ready to be with the love of his life no matter what. I'm very sure those few moments she spent with him was the best of her life, seeing how he loves her so unconditionally.
I have to see this movie, when I come back home it would be the first movie I see, hehe. Nice review dear.
