Mr Lover Lover! (x2)
Sexy on the cover!

If you recognize this lyrics in a particular song, I'm sure you'd also know there have been a lot of clips on Tiktok and YouTube shorts using this song. One focus of the many clips I've seen with this song is about the Korean actor "Kim Seon-Ho" who plays a main role in the 2023 thriller movie "The Childe", showing a new side of him.

I officially became more than a viewer of a clip with the song when I decided to download the movie. The clips of the main lead "Kim Seon-Ho" in the movie raised my expectations of what I'll see in the whole movie so I didn't give much thought before searching for where to watch it.

The Childe - Thriller 2023

Everything about this 2hr movie will have you hooked right from the first episode. The storyline itself is a very unique one with a twist I never imagined but actually like, it reminded me a little of "Mr Plankton" if you've seen it but this one has a much better ending (okay, I think I just gave a spoiler on that series lol) but it's all good hehe.

"The Childe" takes us on a story of a nobleman aka Pro (as he always calls himself in the movie) who tracks down and tries to hold a young guy hostage when he finds out a rich family is looking for a long lost family blood to kill and take his heart. The chase to get a hold of the young guy was so tense as others try to milk the family too.

The main lead, Kim Seon-Ho played the joker face with a very serious plan so well. How it is so entertaining to watch him laugh while he takes the lives for people is something else I can't explain. Even in the most scary situations, where viewers would think there's no way out, he laughs his way out. I honestly didn't expect the end at all.

I meant I didn't expect the end to be that good hehe. It's a short Korean thriller movie anyone would find very interesting, will rate it 9/10.

The Divine Fury - Horror 2019

I had to review this movie alongside the first because I came across it while I was searching for the first movie. It's a Korean movie starring "Park Seo-joon" and I can't think of any movie I've seen him acted in before so it was new for me. Well, after seeing the movie, I wished I was told to get ready for what I was going to see in it lol.

I'm sure most of us don't like a spoiler before we see a movie and although I added a trailer to this review, it honestly didn't do justice to what you'll find in the movie. From a beautiful family home to a MMA fighter living alone in fury, I can say for sure that nobody was prepared for how things changed as they kept watching the movie unfold.

The Divine Fury" is about a young man who lost his father even after praying so hard, he loses faith in God and gets angry even at the sight of the Cross. He wakes up with stigmata on his palms after a dream and goes in search of who could tell him what it is, that led him to a priest who with him, they both began to fight demons.

I can not talk about this movie without sharing my view on the villain, one I couldn't bring myself to hate in his role. Woo Do-Hwan stars as the villain, the main demon who torments people to make them work against others. Seeing him take up this kind of role reminds me of how versatile actors can be. At his first appearance, evil lurked.

The cinematography of this movie was really good, the characters did their best in the roles they played. Although I'm not satisfied with the characters who played the priests but over all, it was a good watch for me and my siblings (I couldn't bring myself to see it alone after the first few scenes lol). I'll give it a rating of 8/10.

I don't like watching k-movies because most of them are always not as interesting as the series, but the actors in these movies are my faves so I'm sure it'll be very interesting.... I'll start with the second movie cos my guy is in it 😅

Who is your guy you love in the second movie? For me, it's Woo Do-Hwan 😅
I hope you see it soon.

Continuously I am adding the names of dramas and movies to my list but my time is limited to watching those. Before I end a drama, 5/6 more drama names are added to my list. And your good review of the drama giving me a hard time to finishing watching all of those.

Haha I can totally relate with you right now, I've got a lot of series yet to see and it feels like there will be no time for them as I keep adding more to the list.

This doesn't seem bad but I'm just not a fan of k-dramas. Noce review, though.
Thanks for sharing.

Both The Childe and The Divine Fury sound like really exciting movies! The Childe seems full of action and surprises, while The Divine Fury has that mix of horror and drama that keeps you on edge. I love how you described the actors and their roles it makes me even more curious to watch. Your review makes them sound so interesting, I just might check them out soon!

I am not really a fan of k drama that much because I now find it so hard to be reading the translation but I think this one will be a good one to watch. Will give it a try and see.

Yeah, you'll like these ones and the second is in English so you won't need subtitles hehe.
