𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒊𝒏 "𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝑵𝒂𝒎-𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒏" Series Review

This took a longer while than I thought it would with the mind I had after the last episode... "I'm definitely reviewing this series". One of those series you see and you just give a smile at the end, feeling satisfied and asking for more if there could be an extension.

I saw this series weeks after it aired and a lot of people were talking about it. I had this thought it wouldn't be so much of a difference from the series "Strong woman Bong-soon" but it turned out that I thought it wrongly.

Even if you've seen Strong woman Bong-soon which I want to believe a lot of us enjoyed, you still need to see this one. The storylines are different in many ways that you'd love and not feel any dejavu except one scene which I find remarkable and thoughtful of the script writers.

Strong Girl Nam-soon is a 16 episodes series released in the year 2023 starring really amazing characters that has left good impressions on their viewers with their acting skills. Before this series, I knew only three of the supporting casts and so, the whole casting of the series was a lot more refreshing than expected.

The storyline of the series goes like... A young girl with a supernatural strength who got separated from her parents and had to grow in another country decides to find her parents using her strength. Before she found them, there was an impersonator, she met with a cop who through him she got involved in a drug case. Leading her to deciding a future for her powers to help people.

The series show really interesting characters that a review won't be complete without mentioning their roles one after the other. So check out these daring characters and also find out more about the series I'm recommending, a highly recommended.

The Daring Characters In The Series.

The daring Gang Nam-soon starred by Lee Yoo-mi who is the lead character, the main focus in the series. I'm surprised to know she actually starred in the popular kdrama "Squid Game". She has superhuman strength, got involved with a drug case and fell in love with a cop. What makes her really outstanding in this series, maybe it is thanks to her super strength, is that she can be very daring and bold even in the face of danger. I like how she formed a very good rapport with the villain in the storyline, it's simply just what is expected of her.

The daring Kang Hee-sik starred by Ong Seong-wu who is the second lead character, a korean actor I never knew until this series. He is a very diligent and honest cop who meets a girl with super strength, fell in love with her and they both work on a drug case together. His role in the series is really memorable especially the scenes where he had to go in disguise to investigate regarding the case. He brought in good comedy with his gender swap and dance scenes lol.

The daring and full of vibe Hwang Geum-ju starred by Kim Jeong-eun, my favourite character if were to choose just one from all of them. I've never seen her star in any series until this one but I'm curious to see more of her. She is the young mother of Nam-soon, got super strength too and has made a whole lot of wealth in her name and even in her family's name with her low IQ brain. She decides to use her strength and influence alongside her daughter to bring the bad guys to justice.

The daring and handsome Ryoo Si-oh starred by Byeon Woo-seok, talk of a villain you love more than the main character. I still can't get my mind off the scene where he asked Nam-soon out on a date. A villain in love with someone out to get him, it's definitely a sweet sight to see. Even though it didn't end well for him as it should be, his role in the series is outstanding.

I won't end this without mentioning the super strong grand mother and the special appearance of Bong-soon and her lovely husband. Their roles filled up any space left for a wholesome experience for viewers. The grannie role of not letting her age play out with her powers and her beautiful new found love in a batista gave us something to feel light in the series.

Of course, Bong-soon special appearance came with some touches from their main series which I find to be a sweet extra for viewers.
