[ESP/ENG] Sound Of Freedom (2023) - Review: “una película que expone una realidad cruel”
Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una película que hizo mucho ruido y que tenía bastantes ganas de ver, y por fin después de una tiempo logre verla, así que por esta razón es que hoy les quiero hablar sobre Sound Of Freedom
Sound Of Freedom es una película de drama lanzada en el 2023, dirigida por Alejandro Monteverde y protagonizada por Jim Caviezel. Esta película nos muestra a Timothy Ballard quien se topa con una inmensa red de tratado de menores y decide en partir varias misiones en la que va liberando poco a poco a víctimas de esta terrible situación. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y en este caso sin duda es el mensaje y la trama en si, siento que es aquí lo verdaderamente valioso de esta película, que busca de cierta forma crear consciencia y aunque en momentos tiene una perspectiva muy religiosa (que no me termina de convencer) de igual forma esto no le resta al resultado final, por lo que todos podemos estar de acuerdo que el mensaje es lo más relevante de esta película.
La dirección de la película me pareció muy buena, tiene escenas interesantes y utilizan esto como un excelente recurso para contar la historia, admito que en este aspecto tenía unas expectativas bajas, pero se nota el profesionalismo detrás de la película y eso se disfruta.
En cuanto a las actuaciones tampoco tengo ninguna crítica, Jim Caviezel hace un gran trabajo y siento que le queda el personaje como anillo al dedo, también destaco la actuación de Bill Camp ya que su personaje es fundamental para la Historia y también me gusta mucho como le da vida a su personaje. Pero en términos generales todo el cast es excelente.
Algo muy específico que me agrado fue el soundtrack de la película, siento que supieron elegir bien las canciones que sonarían, y aunque no suenan muchas canciones a lo largo de la película, si suman mucho en algunas escenas y nos ayudan a dar un poco más de contexto, así que sin duda otro punto positivo.
Si es verdad que objetivamente la película cumple con un estándar de calidad bastante Bueno, pero cuando la desglosaba veía que tenía muchas cosas buenas que me agradaban y que me ayudaban a valorarla, si siento que en momentos se les iba la mano y parecía una película de superhéroes, pero tampoco considero que sea algo extremadamente malo ya que al final es una película que también tiene como objetivo entretener, y tal vez una película extremadamente densa de 2 horas no sea la mejor opción.
En conclusión disfrute mucho la estructura de la película y me parece valioso que resalten un problema que no se puede ocultar, no siento que es una película innovadora ni nada por el estilo, pero siento que cumple con el objetivo de darle visibilidad a este caso para así de cierta forma crear consciencia, así que sin duda de cualquier forma, totalmente recomendada!

Hello hive, today I come to talk about a movie that made a lot of noise and that I wanted to see, and finally after a while I got to see it, so for this reason is that today I want to talk about Sound Of Freedom.
Sound Of Freedom is a drama movie released in 2023, directed by Alejandro Monteverde and starring Jim Caviezel. This movie shows us Timothy Ballard who stumbles upon a huge network of child trafficking and decides to go on several missions in which he gradually frees victims of this terrible situation. Having given some context, now let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I love most about the film and in this case it is undoubtedly the message and the plot itself, I feel that this is what is truly valuable in this film, which seeks to create awareness and although at times it has a very religious perspective (which does not convince me) in the same way this does not detract from the final result, so we can all agree that the message is the most relevant of this film.
The direction of the film seemed very good to me, it has interesting scenes and they use this as an excellent resource to tell the story, I admit that in this aspect I had low expectations, but the professionalism behind the film is noticeable and that is enjoyable.
As for the performances I have no criticism either, Jim Caviezel does a great job and I feel that the character fits him like a glove, I also highlight the performance of Bill Camp as his character is fundamental to the story and I also really like how he gives life to his character. But in general terms all the cast is excellent.
Something very specific that I liked was the soundtrack of the film, I feel that they knew how to choose the songs that would sound well, and although not many songs sound throughout the film, if they add a lot in some scenes and help us to give a little more context, so certainly another positive point.
It is true that objectively the film meets a pretty good quality standard, but when I broke it down I saw that it had many good things that I liked and that helped me to value it, I do feel that at times they went too far and it seemed like a superhero movie, but I do not consider it something extremely bad because in the end it is a film that also aims to entertain, and perhaps an extremely dense film of 2 hours is not the best choice.
In conclusion I really enjoyed the structure of the film and I find it valuable that they highlight a problem that can not be hidden, I do not feel that it is an innovative film or anything like that, but I feel that it fulfills the objective of giving visibility to this case so in a way to create awareness, so no doubt anyway, totally recommended!
