De la mejor trilogía de películas animadas, a mi parecer, pienso que esta segunda parte es la mejor de todas, ya que es donde vemos el mayor crecimiento y desarrollo de los personajes, con conclusiones lógicas y emocionantes para los protagonistas, además vemos al villano más desafiante y aterrador de la saga, que pone incluso en jaque a la aldea de Berk, y a diferencia de muchas otras sagas, entiende lo dura que es la vida, y nos enseña que como el bien y la paz existen, también lo hace la maldad.

Of the best animated film trilogy, in my opinion, I think this second part is the best of all, since it is where we see the greatest growth and development of the characters, with logical and exciting conclusions for the protagonists, we also see the most challenging and terrifying villain of the saga, who even puts the village of Berk in check, and unlike many other sagas, it understands how hard life is, and teaches us that as good and peace exist, so does evil.

Como todo película animada, inicia mostrándonos el nuevo mundo que logró construir Hipo al lograr su amistad con Chimulo, por lo que ahora Berk se transforma en un santuario de dragones, donde no sólo viven en paz con los aldeanos, si no que además son importantes en todos los ámbitos, desde el laborar, hasta el entretenimiento, viendo como la lucha contra estos hasta la muerte, se sustituye por concursos para ver quien es el mejor jinete, llamando la atención que el mismo Hippo no participa, ya que esta fuera del pueblo, tratando de resolver sus propios problemas internos.

Like every animated film, it begins by showing us the new world that Hippo managed to build by making friends with Toothless, so now Berk is transformed into a dragon sanctuary, where they not only live in peace with the villagers, but are also important in all areas, from work to entertainment, seeing how fighting against them to the death is replaced by contests to see who is the best rider, drawing attention that Hippo himself does not participate, since he is out of town, trying to solve his own internal problems.

A partir de aquí, vamos a entrar en los dos argumentos de la cinta, primero viendo como la madre de Hipo sigue viva, y se ha convertido en una jinete de dragones a su forma, mostrando la bella relación de sus padres, y por el otro lado, conoceremos a Draco Manodura, el villano más implacable de la saga, que no escucha de razones, queriendo implantar su voluntad en el mundo. El desarrollo de ambas cosas suceden a la vez, y realmente, viendo como era su mundo ante de la transformación de Berk, son, cuando menos, entendibles sus motivaciones.

Both developments happen simultaneously, and really, seeing what his world was like before Berk's transformation, his motivations are, at the very least, understandable.

Conceptos como el Alfa o el líder de la aldea se manejarán de la mano, pues después de la muerte de Stoico, y del Alfa del nido de dragones, donde se habían salvaguardado la madre de Hipo y muchos dragones, cambiaran el destino de los protagonistas, viendo valores muy importantes como la lealtad, siendo en parte una referencia a la amistad que tenemos con los canes, que más allá de su naturaleza salvaje, se convirtieron en el mejor amigo del hombre. Otro mensaje importante es la resilencia y la capacidad de superar las catástrofes, pues solo pierde el que no está dispuesto a ponerse otra vez de pie.

Concepts such as the Alpha or the village leader will be handled hand in hand, because after the death of Stoick, and the Alpha of the dragon nest, where Hipo's mother and many dragons had been safeguarded, the destiny of the protagonists will change, seeing very important values ​​such as loyalty, being in part a reference to the friendship we have with dogs, who beyond their wild nature, became man's best friend. Another important message is resilience and the ability to overcome catastrophes, because only the one who is not willing to get back on their feet loses.

Ya yendo a otros aspectos de la película, la animación es muy buena, los paisajes increíbles, y la banda sonora también, y pese a las innovaciones actuales en animación, se sigue viendo muy bien. Aunque el guión tiene sus patinadas, lo cierto es que esta película fue concebida para el público infantil, y más allá de esto, esta lleno de simbolismos y mensajes más profundos, que también calan muy bien con los adultos.

Moving on to other aspects of the film, the animation is very good, the scenery is incredible, and the soundtrack is also, and despite current innovations in animation, it still looks great. Although the script has its flaws, the truth is that this film was conceived for children, and beyond that, it's full of symbolism and deeper messages that also resonate very well with adults.

En conclusión, como ya lo mencioné al inicio, a mi parecer, esta es la mejor película de trilogía, y teniendo esa buena calidad general en todas sus entregas, ya es bastante para decir, porque más allá de todo los expuesto, aquí volvemos a ver ese mundo vikingo, sentando definitivamente las bases de lo que terminará siendo, así como los papeles de Hipo y Chimuelo, que por sus méritos y crecimiento, se ganan ser los líderes de sus mundos, y al mismo tiempo, los encargados de unirlos, aunque en la tercera el egoísmo humano hará cambiar estas percepciones.

In conclusion, as I mentioned at the beginning, in my opinion, this is the best film of the trilogy, and having that good general quality in all its installments, it is already enough to say, because beyond everything exposed, here we see again that Viking world, definitely laying the foundations of what will end up being, as well as the roles of Hipo and Toothless, who by their merits and growth, earn to be the leaders of their worlds, and at the same time, those in charge of uniting them, although in the third human selfishness will change these perceptions.
