Estamos ante una típica película que va directo a la selección de Netflix, buscando llenar más el catálogo de opciones, que propiamente buscando destacar por su calidad individual. En ella veremos muchas cosas comunes de la producciones latinoamericanas, pues su trama se base en narcotrafico, políticos corruptos y policías haciendo el bien, con un toque general más de novela, que de una super producción de Hollywood.

This is a typical film that goes straight to the Netflix selection, seeking to fill the catalog of options rather than actually seeking to stand out for its individual quality. In it we will see many things common to Latin American productions, since its plot is based on drug trafficking, corrupt politicians and police doing good, with a general touch more of a soap opera than a Hollywood blockbuster.

La trama de la película inicia muy rápidamente, con una emboscada de los villanos a los protagonistas, por lo que si desconocemos de que va, nos puede tomar un poco desprevenidos, siendo esto tal vez lo mejor de la misma, pues logró tomar mi atención de inmediato. En la escena posterior nos presentan a los mismos, siendo un grupo de fuerzas especiales de la policía, viendo como su líder hace enojar a uno de los capos del narcotrafico, por lo que inician sus movimientos de corrupción para tener información del mismo, y así poder eliminarlo.

The plot of the film starts very quickly, with an ambush of the villains to the protagonists, so if we do not know what it is about, it can take us a little by surprise, this being perhaps the best thing about it, since it managed to capture my attention immediately. In the next scene we are introduced to them, being a group of special police forces, seeing how their leader angers one of the drug lords, so they begin their corrupt movements to have information about him, and thus be able to eliminate him.

Al quedar varados ya que se había estropeado su auto en el ataque, el grupo es perseguido selva adentro, ya que al estar aún lejos de su destino o su base, deciden ir a un punto medio de encuentro, teniendo que utilizar sus habilidades y estrategia para poder sobrevivir. Lo único que me generó un poco de duda era si los refuerzos llegarían a salvarlos, pues en número, municiones o diferencia de armas, estaban completamente superados, por lo que para mí era imposible salir de allí con vida, pero el cine es mágico, y más este tipo de producciones, donde nada es imposible, jajaja.

Stranded because their car had broken down in the attack, the group is pursued into the jungle, since they are still far from their destination or their base, they decide to go to a meeting point, having to use their skills and strategy to survive. The only thing that generated a little doubt in me was whether the reinforcements would come to save them, because in number, ammunition or difference in weapons, they were completely outnumbered, so for me it was impossible to get out of there alive, but cinema is magical, and more so this type of productions, where nothing is impossible, jajaja.

Más allá de esa trama principal, tocan también de forma muy escueta las vivencias de un par de amigas, que por estar en el lugar equivocado, terminan haciendo enojar a quien no debían, por lo que las secuestran y abusan de ellas, pero finalmente son salvadas por el capitán Guerrero y su equipo, siendo algo que sentí más como un relleno, para hacer más largo que filme, que como algo realmente importante. Otra cosa importante para resaltar, es que no está basada en hechos reales, sino que es enteramente ficción, tomando parte de inspiración de las vivencias horribles del pueblo mexicano.

Beyond that main plot, they also briefly touch on the experiences of a couple of friends who, by being in the wrong place, end up angering the wrong person, so they are kidnapped and abused, but are finally saved by Captain Guerrero and his team, which I felt was more like filler, to make the film longer, than something really important. Another important thing to highlight is that it is not based on real events, but is entirely fiction, taking part of its inspiration from the horrible experiences of the Mexican people.

Fiel al estilo que quieren mostrar, siendo más una parodia de clásicos de los 80's, ese grupo de fuerzas especiales es capaz de desarmar una organización de crimen organizado en menos de 12 horas, eliminando a un gran número de matones, sin apenas sufrir heridas o bajas en comparación a quienes enfrentan, pues es importante remarcar que los buenos apenas son 5. Esto también va de la mano con el cliché de estas películas de acción, donde los villanos tienen peor puntería que un ciego sin manos, jajaja.

True to the style they want to show, being more of a parody of 80's classics, this group of special forces is able to dismantle an organized crime organization in less than 12 hours, eliminating a large number of thugs, without hardly suffering injuries or casualties compared to those they face, since it is important to note that the good guys are barely 5. This also goes hand in hand with the cliché of these action movies, where the villains have worse aim than a blind man without hands, jajaja.

En cuanto a las actuaciones, esta bien simplemente, nada extremadamente malo, y en cuanto al escenografía y la fotografía, por momentos vemos tonos más sepias o anaranjados, clásico de la producción americanas donde se retrata latinoamerica, más allá de que el director sea también latino. Ya por último, siento que la pelea final fue muy anticlimatica, llegando incluso a darme un poco de risa al final, pero entiendo parte de la esencia del momento, pues yo también hubiera perdido los cabales y hubiera querido moler a golpes al jefe del narcotrafico, jaja.

As for the acting, it's just okay, nothing too bad, and as for the set design and photography, at times we see more sepia or orange tones, which is typical of American productions where Latin America is portrayed, even though the director is also Latino. Finally, I feel that the final fight was very anticlimactic, even making me laugh a little at the end, but I understand part of the essence of the moment, because I would have also lost my mind and wanted to beat the drug lord to a pulp, jajaja.

En conclusión, realmente no es la mejor película del catálogo de Netflix, pero si te gusta la acción podrás distraerte un rato, termina siendo muy predecible e ilógica por momentos, pero esta tipo de obras están pensadas para que sean así, por lo que tampoco es algo del todo negativo. Su duración también es algo que le juega a favor, pues dan pocas vueltas al asunto, saltando rápidamente a la acción, por lo que no es una pésima idea si no sabes que ver y estas dispuesto a ver algo, que por lo mínimo, te sacará una carcajada por lo absurdo que se puede tornar, jajaja.

In conclusion, it really isn't the best movie in the Netflix catalog, but if you like action you can distract yourself for a while, it ends up being very predictable and illogical at times, but these types of works are designed to be like that, so it's not a completely negative thing. Its length is also something that plays in its favor, since they don't go around in circles very much, jumping quickly to the action, so it's not a bad idea if you don't know what to watch and you're willing to watch something that, at the very least, will make you laugh out loud because of how absurd it can become, jajaja.
